The bright sunlight rays beamed throughout the bedroom window. Bonnibel groaned as the rays hits her eyes. The birds began to chirp loudly. Then the alarm clock began beeping, now she force to get up and smell the morning ambient of Ooo.

"Good Morning world!" she said happily as she get up from bed, arranged the bed sheets back neatly then proceeded to the bathroom. She grabbed the white device that made her this happy. She looked at the results again making sure she wasn't dreaming. Fortunately she wasn't dreaming, it was real, the Owl was right, and they were right.

Taking it in her hand she headed out of the bathroom only to find Finn in her room waiting for her. His eyes were still sleepy. Obviously not used to getting up early.

"Morning..." he said

"Morning my dear Finn. I wanna show you something..." she said

"Yeah? What is it?" he stood up and put his arms on her sides.

"Close your eyes..."

He did and Bonnibel showed the device in front of him with the results greeting his eyes, and said "Open it now"

He did and found himself staring at a two red line. "What's this?" he said confused.

"This is a pregnancy test device. I'm showing you the results..." she said, now Finn was felt cold as excitement flow through him.

"And the result is?" he said as he bit his lip. Bonnibel smile her brightest she can give making him gasp in realization. He began to agape from shock so she spelled it out for him.

"You're gonna be a dad Finn, I'm pregnant." She said as she hugged him tight. His arms quickly responded to her and wrapped his arms around her though he was still shocked.

"For real?" he said in her ear.

"Yes, we are going to have a family! Finn the dad!" she cheered

"I-I-I..."

Bonnibel pulled a little to get a look at him, her expression suddenly became worried. "What?" she said, 'maybe he doesn't want this'

"I'm gonna be A DAD!" he said suddenly with a grin on his face and he lifted her by her waist and spin her around. She squeal in joy as she held him close to her, looking at those beautiful sapphire colored eyes of his, literally spelling out joy.

"YES!" she replied at his statement

Finally Finn put her down but never let her go. Instead he kissed her deeply for a moment and said, "Tell me I'm dreaming Peebles, coz I don't wanna wake up anymore."

"Don't say that Finn, you're not dreaming." She cupped his cheeks with her hands, her thumb caressing his cheekbone. At this point, he was so cute.

"Wait I'm gonna be a dad!"

"yeah, I know Finn..." she said as she gave him a look that says 'duh'

"No seriously, I'm gonna be a dad!" now, his face was a little shocked and sadden as the consequences of her pregnancy hit him full and hard. He sat down on bed with his eyes staring at the wall infront of him. Sensing his distress, she said down beside him and leaned her head on his shoulder. Hands are locked on each other. She remained silent for a while for she let Finn eat the words and situation on his mind.

Finally breaking the comfortable silence, she asked "Something on your mind?"

"Yeah, it's just... what about our duties? Responsibilities we have now, you as a princess and me as a hero?" he said worried. Before she could reply he continued "It's too early Peebles, I thought this will come true after I got a little bit older..."

"No..." she replied

"What?" he looked at her as she pulled away and cupped his cheeks once more and force his look directly into her magenta colored eyes.

"No, listen here Finn the human, if Glob, Cosmic Owl or any other deities out there blessed us with this gift, it is because we deserved it. they simply said that we are ready for this, think of this as an another adventure, don't you want an adventure with me? Finn, I know obstacles ahead of us, but we will face this together okay? I'm not gonna leave your side no matter what. If you're having problems with our duties, we will find a way around this. There is always a way for anything." She gave him a smack on the lips then nuzzled her forehead to his. "I love you Finn..."

Stunned at her words, he found new courage and determination in her. "You're right, we can handle this. And I'm gonna be the best dad ever!" he said making her laugh at little. "I love you Bonnibel..." their lips joined once again, both closed eyes they began to lose within one another.

A half hour passed the voice of Beemo echoed in the room. "Good Morning guys, so what is the plan for today?" he/she asked.

The couple are a little 'busy' so it took a moment for a reply. Bonnibel stood up fixing her unbuttoned clothes back, Finn as groaning frustratingly as he sat up shirtless. "Nice timing Beemo" he muttered making her shook her head.

"Well actually, we are planning to explore the cave of the Candy Omega." She said before adding "Wait at the lab, we discuss the details"

"Okay..." Beemo said.

With the computer gone, Finn looked at her "Are you okay now? Can you handle this?"

She shot him back with look that says 'Are you kidding me?' "Of course Finn I'm a strong girl and I got a taste for adventure, not just science stuff and all. Besides it is also nice to go stretch some legs for a walk."

"Okay, but I'm keeping my eye on you, I'm gonna make sure junior is okay with this." He said as he rubbed her stomach.

"Come on Finn, I just discovered this recently, it's not like his gonna form already. Besides what if its a girl?"

"Oh... hmm... maybe tonight, we can think of names."

"Sounds cool."

"Great" he put on his shirt and escorted her out of the room to her lab.

Beemo was awaiting them patiently as the couple entered the lab.

"Hey guys."

"Hey Beemo." Finn went to his usual spot and Bonnibel took the notebook and a pencil from one of the tables.

"Beemo, show me the holographic diagram of the mountain base."

A blue hologram appeared in a shape of the candy mountain, and then cut cross section showing different levels, floors, rooms, passageways, and other things. Finn thought it was another maze of terror and doom, perfect! Bonnibel points the one side of the mountain "Beemo show me the environment around." Another hologram imagery appeared in a form of Cotton Candy trees on the side where her pencil was and several mountain ranges on the other side. She kept her inspection of the surroundings, thinking of how her uncle's mind works logic. Surely the cotton candy forest side of the mountain won't hold any doors since most will believe it will be the 'front door'. She thought that the entrance to the base is within the mountain ranges. But then again, knowing his uncle well, she knew that he likes to use reverse psychology, making the obvious the right answer.

She was silent for a while so Finn, went in for a closer look "What's on your mind?"

She about to reply when Beemo suddenly announce, "Princess, I've already analyzed the entire structure." The holomap then breaks down in simpler levels, doors that leads to the facility were highlighted green "This is where the entrances to the facility. Apparently they were at least 20 of them, every part of the mountain has entrances, some require elevators to access levels throughout the base"

Bonnibel inspected every level on the hologram, she noticed that at least three doors where located near the Candy forest. 'that's a start' she thought.

"Well we figured the entry point." She said suddenly as she points on one of the doors on the base of the mountain.

"Princess, that door is nearby the power generators, if we can reactivate the generators, we can see what the mountain really hiding and all. We can have easy access on the facility. Beemo said.

"I was thinking about that" Finn suddenly interjected, Bonnibel looked at him with a smile.

"Really?"

"Well... no I'm not" he said sheepishly while scratching the back of his head.

Turning her attention back to hologram, she asked Beemo "Where exactly is power generators?"

Beemo highlighted several rooms on different levels, "These are the power generators, activating one of them will activate power on certain levels of the facility. They are not connected to one source."

"I see... Uncle really is tricky if he wants to" she said as annaylized the map more, Finn on the other hand went to the phone and dialled a number.

"Who you calling?"

"Jake, he will be thrilled if he hears this. I mean our exploration mission."

A moment later someone on the other line answered "Yeah?"

"Hey bro it's me Finn, listen you wanna come with me and Peebles?"

"Where?"

"We are going to find the Candy Omega in the Candy Mountains."

"Are you kidding me?" Jake laughed. "Dude, that thing is a legend, it doesn't exist."

"Well it's a fact. Turns out that Peebles' uncle built the thing. Long story bro"

"Well okay, I'll go get my stuff."

"Oh, wait Jake get some of my stuff too. Bring snacks as well, I bet that this adventure is going to be a tiresome one"

"Right, right, see you soon bro, I'll be there in half an hour." He hung up.

When Finn was done talking to Jake, Bonnibel looked at him. "Why did you invite Jake up?"

"Hey, it's been a while we got on an adventure together and what did I told you? He likes it and interested. He'll be help when we come across obstacles and junk."

"Finn, we going to use our suits; obstacles are not a problem."

He approached her and put his hands on her shoulders, "Hey, I'm a little worried on your condition. Especially now, I don't want you to feel anything bad so we are going to take this nice and slow.

"Hmmm..." she thought for a moment and let Finn's words sink it on her. "...Okay. but I will still bring the Mk V, since you want this to be a classic style, you carry my stuff as well."

"No prob, anything for you sweetheart." They shared a kiss making Beemo groaned a little.

"Get a room you two!" she/he said.

"Yeah, yeah, alright Beemo. Upload the map and diagram of the base in my watch and my holo pad. I'll prepare my things." She said leaving Finn with Beemo in the lab.

When Bonnibel left, Beemo shot Finn with a devilish grin. The human felt dread as the computer's stares began to pierce him. He turned and startled a his/her expression.

"What?" he timidly said.

"What condition you were talking about?"

"I don't know what you are talking about" he said nonchalantly

Beemo replayed his words via recorder. Finn eyes widen in shock and horror. "So, what's wrong with Princess?"

Finn smiled at him/her "Beemo, I'm gonna be a dad!"

"WHAT? REALLY?" Now it was Beemo's turn to get shocked.

"Yeah! Peebles' preganant. That explains her dizziness lately and change of moods. I don't know if you notice that"

"I noticed that Finn."

"Good, now you better promise that no one else will know. I don't want to be a celebrity again in eyes of the candy press." He said shuddering.

"What about Jake?"

"I'll handle him when he get's here I'll tell him."

"Okay, so congratulations Finn!" Beemo said cheerfully.

"Thanks Beemo" he patted his/her screen making him/her blush from embarrassment.

They kept talking idly for a while until they heard a familiar noise of stretching coming from the window. Finn looked at the window only to see Jake barging in with his knapsack and another pack in hands.

"Hey guys..." he said to the two then notice that Bonnibel was missing "Where's the princess?"

"Preparing her stuff, Jake I got ask you something."

"Yeah?"

Taking a deep breath, he asked "Is there an outcome if you done Tier 15?"

Jake rubbed his chin "Hmm... yeah, you get babies. Why?"

"Well you see..." he trailed off, he suddenly lost the courage to speak out. fortunately Jake knew what he meant. He smiled at him and patted his shoulder.

"Congratulations dude, you did it. now I'm gonna be a best uncle, like you did to my pups back then."

"Right..."

"Since when did you knew about this?"

"Just this morning, Peebles' acting weird in a past few days, then she took a test to herself then find out she's pregnant." Finn explained.

Jake nodded at him "Well ready to face the responsibilities of a dad? Coz you're in it for a long time. Human's don't age fast like Rainicorns do.

"Yeah I am..."

"That's the spirit bro, don't worry I will help you with my knowledge of being a dad."

Finn realized something, "Jake, I don't wanna tell you that a 'manual's a bunch of junk' like Jake Jr did."

Jake gave a laugh "Don't worry Finn I got this based on my experience." he patted the human's back again to reassure him. Finn now smiled at him and hugged his adoptive brother.

"Thanks Jake."

Just then a lab door opened and Bonnibel stepped inside. She wearing her pink pants and her military styled jacket. She has the same outfit when she helped Marceline to reclaim Hambo from the sky witch. Her small but convent knapsack is slung on her shoulders.

"So are we ready yet?" she asked then quickly noticed the grin on Beemo's and Jake's faces. Finn just stood there smiling at him and saying "I got nothing to do with this."

Jake was the first one to approached her and said "Don't worry I will be the best uncle for the kid."

Startled, shocked and confused on what Jake was talking about, she only said "Okay? That's very nice." She looked at Finn with a stern look as the human simply raised his hands in surrender.

If Jake was speaking riddles, Beemo was straightforward. "Congratulations on you baby Princess!" the computer said.

"Finn already told you about this. Well thanks Beemo." She said then she approached the computer to get her gadgets and gear.

"Everything you need is in your gear princess, I uploaded everything that relates to the base and its functions. I'll keep in touch and if you need me, just call."

"Thanks Beemo, you're really a big help" she said again.

"YAY! Beemo!" the computer cheered him/herself.

"Are you gonna still bring the Mk V?" Finn asked

"Nah, but I will bring my Ball Blam Burglerber rifle just in case." She said as she reached for the said rifle on her hidden armoury of weapons in her lab. she slung it beside her knapsack and walked back towards them.

"Come on guys, we are burning daylight. Let's go!" Jake said as he enlarged himself so the couple hop on him and skipped out of the lab. "See ya Beemo!" he said as he lept out of the castle grounds, out of the kingdom proper off to the cotton candy forest then to the kingdom's candy mountain ranges determined to find Gumbald's legacy.
