"Chapter 10- Moving in"

Finally the packing was done and as the last box was hauled into the truck downstairs to the Ups truck outside the building. I sighed as I walked around the now empty loft. I smiled as the flash backs started to come back to me all at once of Loraine taking her first steps to bringing Ari home from the hospital and the light night fights with my Ex husband and my first night as a single mom. I suddenly felt two hands taking each of mine and I smiled as I hugged my girls as Logan came in to tell us it was time to leave. I felt sad for leaving but I was happy to be moving on to my new life with James and the kids along with the new baby that'll be calling James daddy and myself their Mommy and it'll be loved by the proud big brother and sisters. While the new house is getting ready Mama Diamond agreed to let us live in her house till it's done and everything is ready to be moved into.
That night the girls and I had the Diamond house to us because Mama Diamond had to fly to Japan to launch her new perfume and cosmetic line. James and the guys are under a 4 hour lay away so by the time they get in it'll be after 2:30am. As I was asleep I felt James quietly crawl into bed next to me and I smiled. "What time is it baby", I asked as I rolled over in my sleep. He kissed my forehead and told me to go back to sleep. I did so but then I woke up two hours later with my morning sickness. James woke up and holds my hair back till I was finished.
Later that day after lunch James and I took the kids to the new house so they can pick out what rooms they want and the colors for their rooms. While the kids were in there rooms I went into the room my Grandma had for me when I would stay over, her house. The best part was watching the trains late at night during my childhood and they always would go by with their horns loud. When I looked out the window I saw one going by and I smiled and then I felt James's arm wrap around my waist. I smiled. "The kids are all set with their rooms and paint colors", he replied looking around the room. I smiled and begin telling him about the memories I had of this room and he smiled but then he was concerned about the trains horns awaking the baby at night and I reassured him that they don't come by as frequently as they use to. My cousin Rob drives trains and he told me. Soon we all went back to the house and decided to order a pizza for dinner. The kids were all really excited about their rooms and the house.
After dinner we watched the home videos the girls found during themove. As we watched the girls kept laughing because Jordan looks a lot like James when he was a kid. But Jordan laughed and said he was better looking and James laughed and messed up Jordan's moppy hair.
Later after the movies were all over I was in the Kitchen washing dishes when I heard someone walk in. When I turned around to see who it was I was surprised to see it was Jordan standing there. "Hey Jordan what's up", I asked kindly. "Well it's about my mom. Dad told me she was mean and spoiled. But I am glad dad is marring you and I was wondering if I can call you mom", he explained standing next to me. I smiled. "Of course you can call me mom and I promise I will be a great mom to you and I am so proud to have you have as my son", I said hugging him and James joined in our hug. Suddenly the door bell rangand James got up and answered it. I heard him talking and a few minutes later James came back into the kitchen and he didn't look so happy. He then asked Jordan to go to bed and then he and I sat in the living room. He had his hands over his eyes and he let out a long and sad sigh. "What's worn my love", I asked as I rubbed his back gently trying to keep him calm and relaxed." Melanie's lawyer just faxed Carlos saying that they set a court date for the custody change", James said with another sigh and groan. "Is there anything I can do to help you", I asked kisses his temple of his head. James smiled a little and kissed my cheek and head. "I just want you to relax okay sweetheart for you and our baby", he said kissing my baby bump which was showing a little bit. When we went to bed I snuggled close to James and he smiled. I just wish there was more I could do for him and Jordan. I'll be honest when I say that I never liked Melanie from the moment we met because she was always putting me down and rubbing it in my face that she was dating James. Also she liked to brag that she was more successful than I was at the time. But now I don't care anymore because even though she maybe rich but I know I'm a lot happier than she'll ever be.
