"Luce? Are you okay? You've been spacing out. And there goes my egg." Natsu said.

Lucy snapped back in surprise upon hearing Natsu's voice and then looked down at her burning egg. "Oh no!"

Natsu looked at his wife who was turning off the stove and throwing away her burned egg. Lucy rarely burned her cooking, unless there was something that was bugging her mind.

Natsu decided to make his wife spat everything out. He went to her and wrapped his strong arms around her waist to hug her. "Now, tell me, what is it that has been bugging you?"

Lucy didn't say anything but Natsu waited. His wife then took a deep breath, taking in his fresh scent—as he had just gotten out of bath—to calm herself down. "I... I don't know. I just... Feeling insecure."

Natsu tightened his hug. "Why?"

"Lisanna saw us last Saturday." Lucy answered softly.

Natsu immediately knew what was bugging his wife's mind. "Did she pester you for answer?"

Lucy nodded softly in his hug.

"Hmm... Are you feeling insecure because you're afraid I would turn my heart on her?" Natsu asked.

Lucy instantly shook her head hard. "It's not that. I believe in you, Natsu. It's just... I don't think we can keep our marriage a secret any longer."

Natsu sighed and let go of his arms. He placed his hands on Lucy's shoulders and turned her around. Lucy looked at him with her brown eyes and Natsu wasted no time to plant his lips on hers and gave he a soothing kiss. One of his hand placed itself on the back of Lucy's head and gently stroke it.

Natsu pulled away. "I don't care if we got expelled. We can always find another place to work. I will never leave you, Luce."

Lucy sighed. "I know. I feel the same. It's just... I'm feeling uncomfortable with Lisanna around. It's not jealousy, more like... Annoyance? I don't know, I'm just feeling a little bit insecure right now."

"Luce," Natsu cupped his wife's face and bore his eyes to hers. "in health and in sickness. In happiness and in sadness. Through it all." Natsu recited his wedding vow. "I will always choose you."

Lucy closed her eyes and placed her own hands on Natsu. She let out a small sigh and smile. "I love you, Natsu. Until the end of time."

Natsu grinned and gave Lucy a kiss on her forehead. "Until the end of time."

Lucy cracked an eye open as the morning sunlight hit her face. She squinted her eyes but right then a shadow covered her. Lucy opened her eyes a bit wider and she could feel warm fingers were caressing her cheek.

"Morning, Natsu." Lucy greeted.

Natsu leaned down to give his wife a morning kiss. "Mornin'. Do you have a good sleep?"

Lucy sighed contently and hugged Natsu. "You're the reason I have a good sleep every night."

Natsu smiled and then turned their body around so he was on top of her. His elbows supported his body weight. "I think we still have enough time to go for another round."

Lucy laughed. "Rounds, I think. Since when you are satisfied with only a single round?"

Natsu grinned. "That's true. You know me so well."

Lucy laughed one more time and lifted her head a bit to give Natsu a chaste kiss. "I literally spent my whole life with you, Natsu."

Natsu leaned down. "And I will gladly spent the eternity with you."

Lucy melted immediately and she replied Natsu's affection. No matter how goofy he was, Natsu would always be the sweetest person in the whole world for her. He was her everything, just like she was his everything.

While the couple was enjoying their morning romantic routine, Natsu's phone suddenly rang. Natsu—obviously—ignored it and kept pleasuring Lucy. However, his phone wouldn't stop ringing.

Lucy tore her lips away and laughed. "I think your phone needs attention too."

Natsu growled. "Damn it."

"Go pick it up. It might be important." Lucy said.

Natsu sighed and reached his hand to take his phone from the nightstand beside their bed. He looked at the caller and raised his eyebrow.

"Who the hell is this?" he growled.

"Go pick it up." Lucy said.

"This has better be good, for whoever this person is has interrupted me from enjoying my wife." Natsu grumbled which followed by Lucy's chuckle. He picked up the call and placed his phone on his ear.

"Hello?"

"Good morning, Natsu-sensei!"

Natsu immediately growled inside upon hearing the voice of the caller.

The one and only Lisanna Strauss.

Lucy caught Natsu's annoyance and knew immediately his caller was Lisanna. She got up and gave Natsu a peck on his cheek.

We should get ready., she mouthed and then she got out of the bed. She then enter the bathroom.

Natsu scratched his head in annoyance. Damn it! He was about to have another pleasant morning—just like always—but Lisanna just had to ruin it!

"Natsu-sensei?"

"Yeah? Oh yeah, good morning too, Lisanna." Natsu replied.

"I'm sorry for calling so early in the morning, but I have a request!" Lisanna happily said.

"What is it?" Natsu asked, trying so hard to suppress his boring tone. He didn't need another outburst from Lisanna if she heard his boring tone.

"Can we walk to the school together?" Lisanna asked.

Natsu raised an eyebrow. What the hell was wrong with this girl? Wasn't it clear as a transparent glass that Natsu was not interested in her? Even a tiny bit? "What? Oh course not! Why would—"

"I'm in front of your house already, sensei!" Lisanna cut. "Please?"

"What?" Natsu asked in disbelief. He got out of the bed and walked carefully to the window. He shifted the curtain a bit and he did see Lisanna was there. She was standing in front of the gates while holding her phone.

Natsu screamed in agony inside.

Just then, a soft hand touched his arm and Natsu turned around. Lucy was looking at her, her wait was dripping wet.

Alright, this might be not the appropriate time, but Natsu got hungry upon seeing his wife. No matter what she did, she would always look so appetizing to him.

Go., she mouthed. We don't need anymore trouble.

Natsu sighed softly. "Alright. I'll be down in few minutes."

"Okay! I'll be waiting, sensei!" Lisanna answered.

Natsu closed the phone. "Luce—"

"It's okay," Lucy cut with a smile. "I don't need another outburst from her if you refused. Although, just make sure, this would be the first and the last time you ever walk together to the school with her."

Natsu smiled and leaned down to kiss his wife. "Your wish is my command, queen."

Lisanna couldn't be happier than now. She was glad she decided to wait in front of Natsu's house then called him rather than doing the latter first. Thanks to her bravery and guts, she got to walk together with her crush to the school!

Unlike Lisanna, Natsu—of course—was feeling unexcited. He missed his wife already. Damn it! Why did this girl just pop out and ruined his day?

"I'm so happy I can meet you first thing in the morning, sensei!" Lisanna happily said. "You know, there's a rumor going on around this area."

Natsu raised an eyebrow. "Rumor?"

Lisanna lowered her head and her face blushed. Natsu of course noticed that, but he didn't care. "You know... They said if a girl walk down this path first thing in the morning with her crush, they will be happy together! Forever!"

Natsu scoffed and threw his gaze elsewhere. Well, this was the path he took with Lucy everytime they went to the school together! Obviously, he and Lucy would be happy together.

"I... I hope the two of us would be the same as—"

"It's just a rumor." Natsu cut, clearly he didn't want to give anymore weird ideas to Lisanna.

Lisanna pouted. "But I heard that rumor is indeed true!"

Natsu sighed. "Happiness is obtained by our own efforts. Rumor like that is just stupid."

Instead of being upset or angry, Lisanna's eyes lit with excitement. "Of course! You need efforts to get the one you love!"

Natsu face-palmed himself in his mind. Now another idea had just stuck to her head! Oh man!

"Say, Lisanna, why aren't you interested in one of your classmates? Or other boys of your age? Or other students? Or other teachers?" Natsu boldly asked. "I think you have been too infatuated with me ever since my first day of teaching."

At Natsu's bold statement, Lisanna's face went redder. "I... I fell in love with you at the first sight, sensei." Lisanna boldly answered. "This is the first time I have ever felt something like this to someone, so I'm sure you're the one for me."

Natsu sighed. "Lisanna, I already have someone else that I love."

"But, but, you did say that you haven't confessed to her!" Lisanna said.

"Doesn't mean I stop loving her." Natsu replied.

"I'm sure I can be a better pair for you than her!" Lisanna stubbornly said.

At Lisanna's confidence, Natsu felt his gut was getting warmer. This young girl... How dare she said she was a better pair for him than Lucy! He wouldn't take any other girl except Lucy!

"Lisanna, you're still young." Natsu said, trying hard to suppress his anger. "Maybe you're mistaking the love at first sight for a simple crush."

"No!" Lisanna shook her head hard. She then suddenly turned her body and stood in front of Natsu. Natsu stopped in surprise. "I love you, Natsu-sensei! I love you!"

"Whoa, hold on—"

Lisanna wasted no time. She tiptoed and then leaned her body towards Natsu to kiss him.

Done !

Yeah, this chapter is finally finished !

What do you think about this chapter ?

Reviews and/or flames are appreciated :D

Lisanna widened her eyes in disbelief. Natsu's palm was covering her lips, just a few inches from his own lips. Natsu sighed and with his free hand, he put it on Lisanna's shoulder to gently push her away.

"Na—Natsu-sensei?" Lisanna muttered.

Honestly, Natsu didn't want to hurt Lisanna's feelings. She was one of his precious students. However, he also didn't want to let Lisanna live in a delusion any longer. No matter how long or how much she loved him, he could only love Lucy.

"You should give that kiss to someone else." Natsu said. "Someone who you love truly and love you back equally."

Natsu gave Lisanna's shoulder a soft pat, then continuing his steps. Leaving Lisanna in silence.

"NO!"

Natsu jolted out of surprise. He turned his body around and saw Lisanna was staring back at him. Tears was forming in her eyes, but she stared at him sharply.

"I will make you fall for me, Natsu-sensei! Just wait and see!"

Lisanna then darted off, this time leaving Natsu in silence. Natsu sighed again and scratched his head.

"Why is she so difficult." he grumbled.
