He was surprised he even fell asleep that night. Too much shit happened, how could've ANYONE fall asleep in these circumstances?...
Heck, it was a NEW PLACE, to add to everything happened last night.
'I guess I was too tired...'
He slowly sat himself up from the couch, staring blankly at the wall for a few seconds of his brain starting up.
'I need to go there...To get my stuff...'
He frowned slightly
'But it's so nice here...'
He blinked a few times, surprised at the weirdness of the thought.
Deciding it was better to just get it over with, he got off the couch, and reached for his phone
-10:07 A.M-
The man slightly opened his eyes at the hour displayed in front of him
'That's...The most I've slept in a while now...I REALLY slept for 9 hours...'
Yusei turned his head towards the direction of the house owner's bedroom
'I wonder if he finally fell asleep or not?...'
Quietly walking on the White carpet, he got to the bedroom's door, picking in quietly.
Not expecting what was in front of him, he just glared
Boy he was NOT ready to see THAT
The insomniac Kuriboh haired teen was quietly snoring, back on the floor, his right arm folded next to his hair, his left arm to his pillow, which appeared on the floor for unknown reasons, and both legs on bed, the left one slightly sliding off, the blanket tangled over his body, just like a Christmas candy cane.
Taking in all the details, the biker realized the teen was sleeping even more tight than what he himself slept.
'I'm not gonna wake him up, he probably really needs this sleep'
He started stepping backwards, still looking at how peaceful, yet hilarious Judai was looking, before turning around and heading to the bathroom to start his morning properly.
He was brushing his teeth, mind somewhere else, eyes blankly lowered at the sink.
After washing his face and wiping it with the now his towel, he decided to glance at his reflection.
He still looked a bit sleepy, due to him waking up just a few minutes ago
However
His Cobalt orbs looked slightly different from what he remembered last time he checked them
Barely visible, he noticed they looked slightly...
Shinier?
Shrugging it off, he put on black socks that were kindly given to him by the house owner, his boots and his gloves, really not being up to get back to his casual skin-tight attire, feeling...Free in this comfy gloves and the boots covered up the slight shortness of the clothes on him, so it didn't look ridiculous anymore.
He grabbed his phone, his keys, and went out, closing the door carefully as possible he can not to wake up the snoring mess.
The drive wasn't very pleasant. Dreadful thoughts of "The talk" with his not-so-friends anymore. He was REALLY not up to that...He forgot to text Jack about that ordeal...He was going to have to tell everything face to face
Yusei sighed and slowed down a notch, kicking away the unpleasant thoughts from his overwhelmed head, making space to more RELAXING thoughts flow in.
'Is Judai still asleep?'
His eyes started becoming less sharp and cool like they usually look
'I still can't believe he let me live in his place...'
A tiny smile found his lips,
'What'll be for lunch?'
The man realized he, once again, forgot to eat, and sighed in embarrassment
'What was even the last time I ate?...'
'I bet he'd wanna duel the second I get back to his place'
The Raven haired man chuckled quietly at the image of his generous friend hopping up and down, with obvious excitement in his Chocolate orbs at the idea of the both dueling
"That's right, much better this way, isn't it Yusei?"
The biker nearly fell off his D-wheel
"WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW?!" He particularly shouted to no one visible
"Keep going like THAT, you'll feel better...You DO feel different, don't you?"
The last sentence Sounded... A lot less evil than usual?...Almost advicing, he'd say.
More collectedly, the tan man breathed in
'What do you mean?...WHO ARE YOU?'
He was honestly scared.
"You'll find out soon enough WHAT I am...You might find I'm not all that bad. You need help Yusei. The more you're gonna be with that boy, the closer you'll get to your answer, and to get help"
The voice quietened, and the Raven haired man felt even MORE confused than ever before, and subconsciously got back to his serious, focused attitude
Eyes no longer looking unfocused, as he sped back to the original speed he was suppose to drive in
'I'll finish this fast, and properly'
Somewhere unknown, a character completely covered in black, like a shadow, with barely any visible traits but the outlines of a hair the resembled Yusei's hair, was slowly growing a wide smile, that was very visible on the shadowy figure
The D-wheel stopped, and it's owner got off of it, and started walking to the door.
He knocked, and waited for the dreadful conversation
'I wish I wasn't alone in this...'
The door opened, to reveal Crow leaning on the door frame, a surprised expression that's unfitting with the laidback position he was standing in.
"Yusei?!"
The tan man felt bad at how surprised Crow sounded.
"The hell man?!, we were so worried!"
He moved back from the door, to let Yusei in.
At the second he got a few steps inside he was greeted by 2 faces, a worried one, and a...Disappointed one?
He wasn't 100% sure on that one
The 4 of them were standing in a circle, the air felt so tense and thick it made the man VERY uncomfortable
"I-I, Uh..."
He froze, words were suddenly VERY hard to say, ESPECIALLY with all these faces GLARING at him
Waiting for him to say something
ANYTHING
"H-how are all o-of you?..."
Even though his voice SOUNDED usual, if you knew Yusei well enough, you'd KNOW he's nervous at the moment
"Fine."
Jack spat out, making Aki and Crow glare at him
"Okayish, kinda lonely without 'ya here"
Crow answered casually, holding in the real emotions he had about all of this
Aki's eyes dropped down sadly
"You're...Not here A LOT LONGER than just yesterday..."
The woman's worried voice held an obvious glint of sadness in it
Cobalt eyes averted in discomfort
"What...What's going on with you Yusei?, you're PHYSICALLY with us...But...Not MENTALLY...You stopped visiting me...Why?"
It hurt him, it hurt him that HE was the cause of all of this, all this sadness, all this disappointment...
He just...Felt guilty for NOT BELONGING anymore...For CHANGING...
"I'm sorry... I've... I just... I feel I don't belong anymore..."
The last part was said with an apologizing

He really DID feel guilty
Everyone were staring at him in shock, not from WHAT he said
But by HOW he said it
That's the most emotional of Yusei they've seen
'WHAT THE HELL was he doing yesterday?, it's almost like it's not Yusei'
Jack's mind observantly scanned the tan man
Aki's eyes encouraged the machinist to continue, to let everything out, while Crow's eyes TRIED to remain neutral, and Jack's eyes looked...Suspicious
"I guess...I'm not sure HOW...But I've...Changed...I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE IT'S THE RIGHT PLACE FOR ME ANYMORE..."
He dropped his face down, making his eyes invisible, his fists were clenched by his sides
Aki and Crow looked even MORE surprised, while Jack kept his suspecting scanning stare...
'You hell did...'
Aki's gentle hand reached Yusei's chest, making him surprised, and even MORE uncomfortable... He KNEW this is not the gesture it was SUPPOSED to be...
Not when it's HER...
He WANTED to have something between them, but he let it go, because she had different reasons
So her touch REALLY didn't make him feel good
"Wherever you go...I just hope...You feel fitting there...Please don't go anywhere because you feel you have to...I...Want you to be happy..."
Cobalt orbs shot towards the Caramel orbs
This is NOT what he expected her to say
He was sure she'd beg for him to stay...
This is the most unselfish he heard her.
"Do you...Have a place you feel you fit in?"
The former team member stared at Jack in surprise, his voice actually sounded...Gentle...
Yusei's face lowered a bit
'Do I... Do I REALLY belong there?...'
A few flashbacks displayed in his eyes
Some exciting duels with Yugi, some awkward attempts of Judai to initiate conversations with him, hanging around in town with both of them, Judai's nervousness for not being able to talk properly with him, last night's conversation, Judai's constant requests to make him spill what he's going through, the voice in his mind, Judai's smiling face, his laughter, the shining in those Chocolate orbs...
How different his eyes looked this morning in the mirror
"Well, what are you waiting for?, you know you belong with these 2"
The last flashback and that voice were more than enough to make him confident, he raised his head, his Cobalt orbs shinning in determination
"Yes...I do..."
He marched forward, getting himself out of that tensed circle he was in, and span around after a short while
"And I'll be taking my stuff now...To the place I belong now..."
The man started pacing around the place, taking his stuff from every corner, taking to note not to forget anything
His former friends still standing in their no longer circle
Jack's eyes closed, and hands folded, looking uncaring
Crow's eyes mostly stayed still, only moving once in a while to stay on the general direction of Yusei, emotions unreadable
Aki's eyes followed worriedly every step Yusei took, hands in front of her exerting clevege, fingersinterwinded.
After a few minutes he was done, a bag that looked like blanket wrapping all his possessions was placed on his back
The man walked back into the circle, looking at the floor, for it suddenly looking very interesting
"If...You ever feel regret...Or like you don't fit there anymore...You know we're still here for you...I DEFINITELY am"
He flinched, knowing exactly what was the double meaning behind what she said, not feeling up to confronting her about it, he turned around to the door
"I'm leaving...Thanks for staying with me, and putting up with me...I know I'm not an easy person..."
He let out a shaky sigh
"Goodbye..."
The door opened slowly, and closed shortly after, Yusei no longer in the place.
The machinist slowly made his way to the D-wheel, staring at it for a while.
"It's sad, but you know it was the right thing to do..."
"I...Made them sad...Aki especially..."
"Start thinking about yourself for a change!, you did something for yourself at last!, besides, Aki of all people?, we both know she...Wants to be with you for the wrong reasons...There's a dear friend waiting for you...You should go Yusei~"
The last part was said in a disgustingly sweetened manner
but none the less, Yusei found himself hopping on the D-wheel and starting to drive back
Faster than the way here
He drove HOME.
Deciding to check what time it is, he looked at the watch
-2:00 P.M-
'I'm hungry...'
He felt his stomach growl in response to the thought.
Aki was sitting on the floor, her hands covering her tear filled eyes, her friends's faces were turned to different directions.
"I thought I had him... I thought he's gonna stay forever... I was SURE he's not going to make such a drastic change in his life..."
She was sobbing, and her voice sounded chocked, Crow sighed in annoyance and went downstairs, he was SO not ready to deal with this shit again
Jack's sharp Amethyst orbs turned to Aki's pathetic form on the floor
"No, you hadn't Aki...You ruined every chance you ever had..."
"Shut up!"
She growled angrily, her voice no longer gentle and caring, but beastful and cold
"Why would I?, you're not scaring me"
His orbs shone dangerously, and his eyes sharpened
"He's not an easy guy, he's not the kind of person you can easily get by walking around half naked, constantly trying to seduce him, and putting a fake show of love...He saw right through you Aki...He might not be very understanding towards his own emotions, but he's VERY observant towards others's emotions...Did you even bother noticing he came back different after last night?, or is his hotness and the attempts to make him stay by showing fake selflessness is all what mattered to you at the moment?"
His voice held nothing but disgust towards her behavior.
Her eyes narrowed dangerously to his direction
"I've almost had him...He was almost mine...If you only would've helped me!"
She growled mechanically, her irises shrinking on the way
"I TRIED DAMN IT!, I REALLY TRIED CONVINCING HIM INTO STAYING WITH YOU!, BUT HE DOESN'T LOVE YOU BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU DON'T EITHER!, HE READS YOU LIKE AN OPEN BOOK!"
He shouted at her, not slightly fazed by her disturbing image.
"He believed I was being caring for him, and not for my own..."
"He MIGHT'VE bought it, but I DEFINITELY know you're faking everything..."
He lowered his head in deep thought
"Well, weather you failed to notice it or not...Something in him changed...I'm not talking about the things that've been going for about 2 months now with his space outs...He showed emotions..."
"I did notice that!"
Aki exclaimed defensively
"He...Did something for himself for a change Aki... I -SAW- he felt bad for leaving us... But he actually did it because he WANTED to leave..."
"What you're saying is..."
She said in a venomous voice
"He's stating to finally find his own emotions...He's becoming a little more caring for his own..."
"That's good...Right?"
His eyes returned to her's, in the same disgusted manner as before
"It's great actually, just not for you, he's not gonna keep up with your pathetic ass out of mercy for you anymore...He's finally doing what the fuck he WANTS to do"
With that, he started heading downstairs as well, leaving the Brugundy haired woman to her own.
She sat there for a while, suddenly having a psychotic laughing fit
"Oh Yusei...I'm DYING to know WHO made you bloom so wonderfully..."
Her voice sounded sultry and her face was blushing, Caramel eyes completely lusfull and her hands between her thighs
"I'll STILL get my claws on your skin...EVENTUALLY..."
The last word was said in a lowered voice.
She got up after a moment and wandered off somewhere in the place
Little did the 3 of them know that during the whole visit, 2 curious little kids were picking on everything behind a wall
Their Moss orbs looking absolutely terrified
"Rura...I'm scared..."
She whispered in a shaking voice
Rura was as afraid as her, but wouldn't show it, he was a brave boy after all
"Ruka...No matter what...We can't let Yusei get back..."
"But...I miss him"
Her eyes dropped sadly
"I miss him too..But we can't let him get to her...She's...She's scary!"
She looked at him with determination
"We're gonna save him from her! Yusei'll start new happy life at that place where he feels he belongs in, and we'll help him stay safe there no matter what!"
She rose her fist at that, waiting for her twin to return the gesture
As he did expectedly return the gesture, they both jumped in mid air and began running to their room, to plan an unreasonable plan to save Yusei
A typical kid's thing to do when they get pumped about something
As the house was slowly seen in the horizon, Yusei's mood started to improve, he already felt much better
Not long after he already placed his D-wheel in front of the place, and opened the door handle quietly, he only took a few steps forward, and was already greeted with Yubel's quieter than usual voice
"Careful Yusei, he's asleep"
A/U : Fuck, it took me 6 hours to write this!, I didn't even expect it to be this long... I hope I made SOME people feel better...And as for the ones who hates how SOUR this chapter is... Well sorry, I never intended to keep anyone here against their will... The world... Isn't such a pretty place after all... Is it?...
I'm sorry All of Yusei's team may be COMPLETELY OOC (Like I said, I never watched 5D's so I don't know the characters too well...I used my gut feeling to describe them...)
And as if it wasn't obvious, sorry, I really dislike Aki ^^' (well, I honestly dislike -most- of the Yugioh female characters, -MOST- of them ARE really unbearable :/)
Oh, and...I give a cookie to whoever already understood WHAT is that voice in Yusei's head... EMPHASIS on -WHAT- (That's not a "who")
