Hey guys! How are you? I know you probably all hate me. A lot. :/ So a little of what's goin' on in my life...My high school put on Legally Blonde for our spring musical on March 27 - 29, and we've been on Summer vaycay since the 13th. I finished season 3 of OUAT, and my little sis got braces. My novel is coming along well (chapter 17 baby!) Anyway, here's the next chapter! Enjoy!

Over the course of a few days, Lucy and James had gotten to know each other pretty well. He showed her how to move so her chains hurt less in return for the story of the Pevensies' entrance into Narnia and the defeat of the White Witch. The gloomy and dark dungeon was nearly too much to bear some days as Lucy heard the footsteps of ignorant passerby through the little window positioned above their heads. Her eyes often drifted to the window, where golden light streamed through the rusted, iron bars, forming a dance of shadows as people walked by.

"I want to leave," Lucy said. This sentence often came from her lips as her anger and sadness grew each day her location was not discovered by her siblings. That particular day, there was no reply. James had been removed for something - Lucy knew not what - and had been gone a quarter of an hour. To occupy herself on days like these, she would imagine a pair of boots stopping as they passed the window. A sword would cut the iron bars and a rope would be thrown down through the window. Peter would swoop down into the dungeon, free her, and they would return to Cair Paravel. But today, it wasn't Peter that consumed her thoughts. It was Will. This caught her off guard. Before she could further think of this new phenomenon, the prison door swung open and James was forcefully thrown into the dungeon by a guard. The guard in question made his way to Lucy, removed a large, black key from a ring of dozens, and unlocked her chains.

"Your presence has been requested," the guard announced in a gruff voice, pulling Lucy to her feet.

"By whom, may I ask?" Lucy asked. "I do not particularly wish to see anyone living here. Not if they have a part in throwing a girl and an old man in a dungeon."

The guard's eyes seemed somewhat familiar, but they were clouded by something Lucy couldn't see past.

"Nevertheless," the guard acknowledged. "Your presence is requested."

Lucy didn't know how to further refuse. She turned to James, pleading with her eyes, but the guard tightened his grip on her forearm and propelled her out the door.

"Let's go."

Lucy writhed and wriggled out of his grasp, and quickened her pace to avoid being grabbed again. Following a flight of stairs, a left turn, and a number of halls, the pair came upon a door with a light shining through the crack at the bottom. Before the guard could knock, a voice exclaimed,

"Yes, it is about time. Send the girl in."

At his command, Lucy was shoved through the open doorway and stood facing a figure seated between two lamps. The door slammed shut behind her, stirring up a breeze that rustled her hair and skirt. In front of the figure, a table set for two was piled with food.

"Please, sit," the figure remarked.

Lucy remained grounded, holding her head high, and eyed the food hungrily. The figure, a man, grunted and started his meal. However, the queen refused to give into her hunger. It would only show weakness. The delicacies on the table might be laced with the same poison-like substance used to drug her and take her captive. The man took a bite of a turkey leg before looking her in the eye.

"Queen Lucy -" the man began.

Lucy gasped when she realized the identity of the man facing her.

"Tith," she whispered.
