"we're finally back home." Dan said excitedly.

"I've got some work do help yourself to anything you find in the kitchen" marucho told them and left for his lab. Everyone then the door opened revealing Runo who just got back from her 'visit to the park'

Runo's pov

'crap . why do I have such bad timing '

They all stared at me . I tired to ignore it but its really hard to do that . I made a bee line towards the stairs that lead to my room.

'almost there' but then someone had to grab my hand and that someone had to be my ex boyfriend. I tried to pull my wrist but he just tightened his grip. I could just use my powers but that would ruin my cover.

"let go Dan"

"no we need to talk and where's the other two"

"firstly we have nothing to talk secondly if you must know they had some urgent business to attend to so they left "

"they didn't even tell anyone" billy whispered

"Runo we need to talk" dan said more like threatened .

"I've nothing to talk with you" I bluntly told him.

"well we all do" he snapped.

'god this is getting really irritating'.

"fine. Lets talk"

After a hour

"well that was….er…something. if you excuse me I need to go"

I finally escaped.

Flashback

Jake: is hydron your boyfriend?

Shadow: do you like him?

Mylene : do you love him?

Ofcourse I do he's one of my best friends

Did you go on a date with him , whats between you and him blah blah blah ….seriously I think they're more concerned about my love life than hydron. More questions poured in by jake but none from Dan.

Jake: are you in a relationship with him?

'it's the millionth time he's asking the same question'

"for the last time no and jake just because you ask the same question in a different way is not going to change the answer its still no"

Jake: then what do you've with him? Were you helping him during the battle by spying on the brawlers.

"NO I would NEVER do that .i met him after all that happened , after everyone moved .he needed help and I helped him .END OF STORY." I was so frustrated how can they even think that I'm a traitor the nerve of that guy.

"just that….oh really then why is he calling you and why do you've that picture . why don't you save us all the trouble and just tell us whats going on between you two" Dan said . He looked so disgusted with me.

'that's it I've had enough. I don't care anymore'

"what goes on between me and him is non of your business . I can call , talk or take photos with whoever I want whenever I want wherever I want and its none of your concern . I mean why do you even care who I talk to or hung out with .its not like you're my boyfriends or anything. So why the hell should you care?"

Dan just glared and shoved his hands in his pocket and said "because I do care"

"why though? You said so yourself I'm just a weak useless pathetic excuse of a brawler"I snapped at him my words dripping hatred.

He just stared at me and walked off.

At the mansion

"hey dan you ok?" shun asked his brown haired friend who seemed to be in deep in thought.

"I'm fine . just thinking about what happened with Runo" dan replied .

"dude its ok . come to think of it they've become more rebellious , they've become distant and secretive" billy said while walking in to the room the three of them shared.

"well we are their ex boyfriends who broke up with them and didn't even give them a proper reason ofcourse they hate us" shun replied

" yea you're right we deserve it. I wonder where alice and Julie went and why didn't runo go with them." Dan wondered.

"lets forget about this all . we've a mission to focus on" shun said while the other two nodded

"dan you coming ? we're going to out grab something you eat" billy asked as he and shun walked out of their room.

"yea you guys go on . I'll be there in a sec"

Dan looked down to his phone in his hand . it showed a picture of Runo smiling. She looked so beautiful. He took it without her knowing. Whatever the others may say he still loved her he knew that and she probably hates him now. He sighed . he knew he was hurting her and he was hurting as much as she was.

"why can't I let you go"

After a few days….

Runo barely talked to anyone . she and dan were ignoring each other. Julie and Alice still aren't back.

RUNO'S POV

The tension between me and them are increasing . I've been starting to wonder if I should continue to stay here. I was about to open the door to the room were they were sitting that's when I heard marucho's voice . I decided to eavesdrop a bit.

"guys I found the darkus stone" an excited voice said which I identified as maruchos.

"then lets go and take it" another voice yelled.

'jake' I sweat dropped . why does he- oh wait I'm forgetting the important part . they found the location crap that's bad . what should I do ? the girls aren't back yet. Should I wait for them but then either the brawlers or jade would get it . I could always steal it back no I cant take a chance but the guardians said- they'll understand . sky and tig wont approve either. I guess I'll have to do this without them. First I need to get out of here.

I opened the door . they were still talking . everyone stopped talking and were staring at me AGAIN. You could literally feel the tension

I ignored them and walked towards the door that led to outside.

"Where are you going" jake yell asked

"you've been going out a lot since you came here. Whats going on?" billy asked suspiciously

"why haven't the girls returned ? moreover where are they?" shun asked

Dan glared at me and I glared right back at him.

So much questions….when will they give up?

"I don't have time for this" I opened the door and walked out.

No matter how many times I try to control my anger just a comment from him makes it….so much for training to control my emotions I shouldn't let them affect me I swear I'll never let them get to me again.

'we're here' marucho said

"its so dark and creepy why is it so dark and creepy" the subterra brawler who goes by the name jake asked.

"whats wrong jake ? you scared?"mira teased.

Jake glared at her.

"my locator says that there's a huge clearing in the middle of the forest and that's where the stone is" marucho said.

"we need to walk because the forest is thick and there is huge fog and we better hurry before jade or that tiger girl get there" he added worriedly while wiping his glasses.

Everyone nodded and began to walk faster . suddenly jake walked stopped walking causing keith to bump in to him.

"jake whats wrong?" keith asked

"I have a strange feeling that someone's watching us"

"its probably your imagination come on lets go" keith started walking

Jake turned around suddenly he saw two yellow glowing eyes staring at him from the darkness. He felt his whole body paralyzed by fear.

"jake lets go come one" ace yelled.

Jake got control of his body and turned his eyes to ace and when he looked back the eyes was gone.

"what is it ?" fabia asked

"I thought I saw….its nothing never mind ..probably my imagination"

"ok if you say so . come on we have to catch up with the others"

Haos pov

I watched as the brawlers came in to the clearing where the stone was kept . shuntook the stone in his hands as he avoided all the traps . he walked in marucho's direction to give it to him .

This is my chance. I jumped off the tree from where I was watching them and in the speed of light the stone was in my hands.

"give it back tiger girl" marucho yelled.

"tiger girl? Really?"

He blushed "well you do look like a tiger"

"I do not"

"whatever im leaving"

Suddenly a beam hit me . it felt like I was being stabbed with a thousand knives..i turned around and ssaw jade holding a blaster thingy .

"not so fast beautiful , you cant leave like last time that's rude" he smirked

I was feeling light headed

"what did you do?"

"I just drained your energy using this" he said while he held his blaster thingy over his head

Crap this is bad I don't have enough power to teleport guess I'll have to battle this one out.i hope I can do it ."just because I have my energy drained drained doesn't mean im giving up I'm still a lets brawl"

' I hope they don't team up if they do its gonna be hard'

I looked up to see drago and jade's bakugan partner meriogon.

Meriogon looks like a huge green snake with bat like wings. Jade is a ventus brawler

Okay haos calm down take a deep breath

"hear my call come to my aid haos Griffin"

My faithful griffin appeared before me. Now I deeply regret dong this with out telling sky or tig. I only have aero and griffin with me and my griffin is strongest griffin of the bakugan world but he just returned from a mission and even he cant take on 5 bakugans at the same time and using aero will blow my cover. I'm such an idiot I should've thought this through dammit
