Later that night, every one of Devimon's going was sleeping in his great hall, devimon had grown so paranoid that had had to have all his minions around him at all times to prevent an assassination.
The Bounty hunter tried its best to be quite she slowly walked over to Michael's cell, she typed in a code and the cell door opened, Michael was still on the floor in immense pain, the bounty hunter got out a syringe and injected the serum within into Michael's left arm.
The Izumi boy took notice and was about to talk when the bounty hunter coveted his mouth hand signal for him to shush.
" just relax, you're safe."
" I can't see anything," Micheal said.
" your eyesight will return in time, the poison you're suffering from would have killed you in a matter of hours."
Micheal felt the leather mask.
" who are you?" Micheal asked.
The bounty hunter removed its mask to reveal herself to be Atsuko Kamiya.

Atsuko then saw a weak smile on his face.
The two then gave each other a small kiss before Atsuko pulled mike up.
" c'mon I need to get you out of here."
Atsuko said.
" wait what about the others?" Michael said.
" Don't worry, Andrea and I have a plan for them but right now i...
The two then heard of a maniacal laugh as a large door from behind them opened to reveal Devimon and his followers.
"Hahahahaha, you thought you could fool me with that stupid disguise?!"
Devimon said as he continued to laugh as did his minions.
Atsuko scowled at devimon then noticed his waving to the guards to come over.
" your gonna regret this Devimon, just let us and the others go and there won't be any destruction."
Atsuko said as the guards separated the two, they took Michael into the dungeons while the guards put Atsuko right in front of devimon's Deus.
He had grown fatter since she had seen him last.
" Well, well, well aren't you a Courageous one?" Devimon said.
" what can I say, I'm my Fathers Daughter," Atsuko replied.
" why did you think you could come in here to my palace and save your fellow digidestened?" Devimon said this while getting into atsuko's face.
She spits into his eye and devimon quickly pressed a button on his Deus and a trap door opened and Atsuko fell into a watery pit.
Everyone gathered around a grill in the floor to see atsuko's getting up and hearing a loud growl coming from the darker corner of the pit.
A Shellmon came out of the corner and looked down hungrily at Atsuko.
The shellmon tried to grab her but she quickly got out of the way, she had all of Devimon's minions cheering for the shellmon to devour her!
While she was looking up through the grill the shellmon caught her in one of its tentacles and began to squeeze her tightly!
As its grip got tighter around her, she could barely breathe, she cried out in pain as she felt one of her ribs begin to crack!
Atsuko looked down and grabbed a small metal spike sticking out of the water, she grabbed it by both feet and threw it up into her free hand and stabbed it deep into the tentacle that was holding her!
The shellmon released her as it howled in pain.
She looked up to see there was a gate above them separating the pit, she grabbed a rock and threw it at the controls above her, the gate came crashing down on the shellmon's neck!
The cheering from above stopped and Atsuko looked at the dead shellmon who quickly De-Digivolved back to a Bukamon.
A door to the side opened and Jacob ran out to Bukamon and immediately cradled his partner, he then looked angrily at Atsuko as he left the chamber and an ogermon guard grabbed her and brought her back up to Devimons throne room, devimon was fuming with rage.
" what's the wrong devimon, don't like that I took your favorite pet away?"
Devimon broke the glass cup he drinking from!
" don't test me, little girl, I'm not finished with you yet, bring her and the Digidestend of fear to my Sail Barge!"
" you should have let us go when you had the chance Devimon, it'll be the last mistake you ever make!"
The guards brought out Michael along with the other Digimon prisoners out to the sail barge.
Scar Gatomon and 0 watched as the guards were bringing out all the prisoners out of there cells.
" we should have left earlier to help Micheal, now its too late." Scar Gatomon said.
0 was about to speak when a guard opened their cell and was told to join the rest of the prisoners being taken.
Hours later the Sail Barge had hovered over the desert for miles until it finally reached its destination, small empty crater in the sand that had a small amount of water within it, there was a
Gesomon waiting for fresh victims to thrown into its hole.
Andrea, Hoshi, and Kaito watched as Devimon's sail barge had finally arrived and now hovered above.
" there they are, should we send the signal now?" Kaito asked.
" No, not yet," Andrea replied.
" what's happening, I wanna see," Hoshi asked as she tried to take the tiny telescope.
On the barge, Devimon was eating a purple fruit dipped in honey sauce, Atsuko and Micheal both had their hands tied and Looked down into the hole, the Gesomon looked up hungrily at them.
" it doesn't make any sense, how can an aquatic Digimon survive out here in the desert?" Michal said.
Atsuko didn't answer but only gave her longtime best friend a smug smile.
" what's that for?" Micheal asked.
" you never thanked me for trying to save you but again like I always have." Atsuko replied.
"Pfft, not always you only help sometime besides I could take care of myself easily," Micheal said.
" whatever you say shorty," Atsuko said.
" I'm not short!" Micheal said, he would have said more if the guards haven't separated the two.
" Hey c'mon, you don't have to push! Micheal said.
" Hey, I wasn't done talking to my boyfriend!" Atsuko yelled at the guard.
Scar Gatomon and 0 were both watching this from the deck, scar Gatomon couldn't stand watching her tamer as he was put on the plank above the hole, she tried her best but the rope that bound her to the deck was to right, she suspected it was made using some of devimon's dark magic.
Micheal still felt weak as he reached the near end of the plank, at least now he didn't feel like he was literally dying, he looked up at the blue cloudless sky at the miles of endless and surrounding them, he looked back at Atsuko, her crest of love began to glow brightly as she looked back at him.
He took a deep breath, he thought about all the times he had almost been killed since he became a digidestined, he thought about his parents, his little sister Hoshi, his twin brother Hatsaharu, his Digimon partners Scar Gatomon, veemon, Patamon and Meicoomon and finally his Best friend\ girlfriend Atsuko Kamiya.
He took one last deep breath and was about to jump when he felt a huge vibration run through the barge followed by a loud crash!
Micheal slipped and would have fallen into the hole if not for Garudamon catching him in her hand.
Micheal sighed in relief.
" thanks, Garudamon," Micheal said.
The bird Digimon nodded then looked back down at what was left of the sail barge and quickly tried to grab Atsuko but was instead attacked by devimon!
" you Dare attack me?" Devimon said as he flew up into the air.
" I do dare Dark one, your short rain over the digital world underworld is over, surrender now and I will give you a painless death," Garudamon yelled.
While this was happening Devimon's minions were jumping from the barge in hopes of Escape, unfortunately, a good number of them when they jumped off the barge fell into the Gesomon's put and were quickly eaten, the only people that stayed on the Barge were the controlled digidestend and there captive Digimon, Andrea's Hawkmon quickly flew Below deck to free any prisoners he could find, while doing thins he found the controlled Digidestened.
" what do you think you're doing you overgrown chicken?!"
" chicken, how dare you, I was going to apologize for this but now I'm glad I'm going to be doing it!"
He took out a special whistle and an almost deafening sound erupted through the lower deck of the sail barge each of the control digidestined fell to the floor in pain, the sound quickly deactivated.
" ow, what the heck just happened?" Anna asked.
" I'll explain, later right now we have to get off this. Barge!" Hawkmon said as he continued to free prisoners.
Everyone was still trying to evacuate from the falling Sail Barge all except
Archamonda, she walked slowly up to the top of the barge to see Devimon battling a Garudamon, she noticed devimon was being to look exhausted as the battle went on this did not trouble her, she had been slowly poisoning him ever since she arrived at his Palace, he had outlived his usefulness to her so now was the time to drain the last of his life essence.

Devimon tried to summon the last of his strength but only felt great pain, his body began to disintegrate before him, he looked down to see archamonda was draining his essence!
He tried to attack he but a millisecond before he can land a strike at her his body and completely and utterly dissolved!
As Devimon died the ropes hold scar Gatomon and 0 faded away, scar Gatomon noticed the other Digidestend and Hawkmon were coming up to the deck, she was about to call them over when 0 covered her mouth with a rag and dragged her into a corner, scat Gatomon started to notice the room was getting blurry the last thing she saw was Zero giving her an evil smile before she finally passed out.
0 quickly looked hid scar Gatomon behind some old junk, she then covered her 0 scar and painfully made another x shaped one over her right eye, she ran out to the others and joined them as they abandoned the sail barge!
Archamonda could feel Devimon's strength running through her as he left the sail barge before it fell into Gesomon's hole and was quickly consumed by the squid-like Digimon!
Hours later the Digidestend have now reunited with there Digimon partners.
" now that Devimon's gone we only have 5 more to go," Wilhelm said trying to lighten the mood.
" we have to deal with this 5 more times?!" Kaito said surprised.
" hey that's the life of a digidestend and like it or not your one of us now," Jacob said.
" ok let's get back to the castle, we gotta find out were our patents are," Anna said with an obvious sense of worry in her voice.
Michael got out his laptop began to type frantically.
" I found them" Michael with a look of happiness but that look quickly changed one of stress and worry.
" well, where are they?" Cody Jr said.
" Etemon's old pyramid. "
