Thanks for the awesome reviews! As always, I own nothing except for the OCs!

A/N: For those wondering, Rose helped bring down a notorious crime family in Burnsville, led by one Danny Arrigoni and his son Frankie. The Arrigoni clan was responsible for at least a dozen murders, racketeering, drug smuggling, and the murder of a police officer. *Notice* The Arrigoni's are my own characters.

Enjoy the next bit here!

Ziva's POV

Rose and Detective Callahan had been in interrogation for a few minutes, and the guy that they were- oh, what is it- grilling hadn't broken yet.

"You're gonna tell us more about your little escapades with Tommy De Luca," Rose began. "You lie ... things get ugly."

"Like I'd tell you anything!" Frankie Arrigoni spat. "You had me locked up after I helped you!"

"In turn for the possibility of parole," Jaime reminded him. "You do realize that if you withhold anything, your parole eligibility goes out the window, right?"

"You think you're cute, huh?"

"Try me, sweetie."

I giggled at Callahan's reply- she clearly was not messing around with this guy. Out of nowhere, the door opened, revealing Gibbs and Michael.

"They have only just started, and detective Callahan is quite funny," I pointed out.

"Who's this little weasel anyway?" Michael asked.

"Frankie Arrigoni, Daniel Arrigoni's son..." I trailed off.

"Wonder why they brought him here..."

"He is connected to the De Luca family somehow ... your sister and detective Callahan believe that he may be connected with De Luca's return..."

"Elaborate."

"The Arrigoni and De Luca families were somehow connected to each other back in Burnsville..."

"Doesn't answer my question," Gibbs jumped in.

"As for the reason behind Frankie Arrigoni helping De Luca out from behind bars, I could not tell you," I replied simply.

"Find out," Gibbs said.

"On it," Michael replied. "So ... what have they found out so far?"

"Other than Frankie Arrigoni is a complete idiot, nothing," I deadpanned.

"Can't wait to see what Rose and Jaime are gonna do to him..."

"What do you mean?"

Michael just pointed at the interrogation room with a crazy smile on his face.

"What makes you think that I'll tell you anything about Tommy?" Frankie spat at Callahan.

"Do you want to live to see your little girl's graduation?" Callahan replied smoothly.

"You leave Sofia out of this!"

"Not gonna happen!"

"Tell us more about De Luca or little Sofia won't get to see her daddy!" Rose yelled.

"I'll kill you for that one, mark my words!" Frankie growled.

"You'll try, and then you'll end up a dead man." Rose said calmly.

"Try me, you Irish asshole!"

Rose stepped around Frankie and grabbed his arm in a nasty grip, one that would certainly leave bruises. "I've had enough of your shit, Frankie. Either you start talking, or ..." Rose grabbed him by the back of the head, "I will give you another hole to breathe out of!"

"Rose, take it easy!" Callahan warned. "Let's give him one more chance to talk before we do anything stupid."

"Your sister is absolutely insane..." I trailed off, glancing sideways at Michael.

"It's an O'Neil thing..." Michael replied hesitantly.

"What do you mean?"

"She's like our dad- doesn't take shit from anyone, gets the job done, and finds out what she needs to know."

"Hope she does not destroy Frankie."

"It's a scare tactic- she hates hurting people."

"How ironic."

"Indeed."

Michael and I turned back to the interrogation, and within moments Frankie began telling Rose and Callahan everything he knew about De Luca.

"What does Tommy want with military personnel?" Rose asked.

"Some ass hat by the name of Michael is his next target," Frankie replied.

"Give us a last name and we'll see about bringing your wife and daughter here to see you," Callahan prodded.

"You ought to know- he's this bitch's brother!" Frankie spat.

"Shit..." I heard Michael mutter before he ran out of the room as fast as he could. I was going to follow him closely, but I realized that it would probably be best if he handled his sister.

"Agent O'Neil, detective Callahan, a word please?" I heard Michael ask from the other side of the glass.

Rose and Callahan nodded and followed Michael outside, and I noticed that despite hearing that De Luca was after Michael, Rose was very calm.

"Do you have any idea as to why De Luca would go after your brother?" I asked Rose when she entered the room.

"Now that you've mentioned it," Rose began softly, "De Luca does seem very hell-bent on tearing apart our family. He started with our sister-in-law, Terri, and I'm guessing that because Terri survived, he'd go after somebody else. My best guess is that he wants to send a message to our family..."

"What kind of message?"

"No fucking clue..."

"That's no help to us," Michael pointed out. "Remember what he said about his son David? You know, the one that he wanted to marry Terri?"

"You think he's after us because of Terri marrying our brother?!" Rose asked.

"Seems like enough motive to me, but how does Frankie Arrigoni tie into this?" I asked.

"Frankie Arrigoni is one of De Luca's most trusted allies," Rose explained. "When Michael and I were in high school, Frankie would always follow us around. We thought he was just a kid trying to befriend the upper classmen, but now we know that that's not the case... My guess? De Luca needed a spy, and little Frankie was perfect. He used him to spy on us."

"Does he know anything else?" Michael asked.

"Not that I'm aware of, but he does know about James, Terri, and the kids..." Rose trailed off. "Shit- Michael, go get the kids and bring them here. If De Luca is in town, you gotta keep them here."

"On it," Michael said before he left the room.

"Wait, Michael has kids?" I asked Rose as we- her, Callahan, and myself- left the room.

"He has custody of James and Terri's kids for the time being ... we had to take extra precautions," Rose explained.

"So ... now what do we do?" Callahan wondered out loud.

"Keep an eye on the son of a bitch," Rose replied simply. "Agent David, perhaps you should go with Michael."

"Why?" I asked.

"In case De Luca shows his ugly face," Rose explained shortly.

"Gibbs!" I called out. "Michael had to go and get his kids- may I-?"

"Go, David," Gibbs replied shortly.

I nodded and grabbed my pistol and cell phone from my desk. Michael hadn't gone far before I caught up with him. "Sorry- Gibbs sent me."

"It'll be good to have an extra gunner," Michael muttered. "Hope you don't mind crazy driving..."

"You're lucky that I'm not driving."

Michael smirked at me as he led me to his car. The jet-black body with dark red decals and racing stripes made it stand out, and I was somewhat impressed. Before I got in, Michael had started the car and backed up, and shortly after, I noticed him turn on the stereo. Some kind of hard rock music nearly blew out my ears, and I could not help but roll my eyes. Heavy rock and a sports car? Not bad, I thought to myself as I climbed into the passenger seat of the car. Once I shut the door, Michael took off, his tires screeching as he left the parking lot.
