A/N: I know. I know. Lol, okay. Don't tell me. It's been a rough couple weeks! But alas! I am back! And I'm bringing you talent show Blaine! This also includes a little Klaine heart to heart. And some kissing, maybe? Idk. Bex will be back in the next chapter. I have plans for Bex. Lol. The song Blaine sings in the chapter is 'Any Of Those Things' by Darren Criss. Don't judge me, kay?

Chapter 10

Blaine knew after a long night, all he wanted to do was go home and relax and figure things out for him and Kurt. He knew they needed to talk, but he wanted to forget things happened. He'd actually gotten an idea for a song to write and wanted to do just that. He knew the talent show was in a few days, and actually had signed up to perform something. He knew he needed to come up with something, and it was this whole situation with Kurt, the thought of losing him to someone else, made him want to write this. It wasn't until Kurt texted him sometime later, that he stopped.

"You do realize that it's nine pm, and you haven't texted me yet…right?"

"Kurt, honey. Fuck I'm sorry. It just got away from me is all. I'm writing a song for the talent show on Friday.

"That's okay! I'm excited that you're performing in it though."

"Me too. So, we're okay right?"

"We're okay, Blaine. I overreacted a bit."

Blaine snorted a bit when he read that message. That was not what he'd expected Kurt to tell him. He'd expected Kurt to cut his losses early and get rid of Blaine. Blaine smiled at that and decided to be honest with Kurt.

"I wasn't expecting you to take me back, tbh. I was expecting you to be even madder at me. But you know what, it's all done now. Baby, I really want you to like this song."

"I'm sure I will, I promise. So, are you ready for our presentations tomorrow?"

Blaine looked across the room where his drawing of Kurt sat on his easel. He wrote the description earlier in the day when he'd gotten home. He was proud of the drawing and the description, and he couldn't wait to present it to Kurt, and the class.

"I'm ready. How about you? Ready to show off your stunning interpretation of my ugly face tomorrow?"

"Oh Blaine. I think your face is anything but ugly."

"Come over here, tonight. I want to play the song for you."

Kurt smiled and knocked on Blaine's door. Blaine was confused, but opened the door anyway. He was shocked to see that Kurt was standing there in his doorway, but kissed his boyfriend lovingly and took his hand, bringing him into the room.

"Baby, how did you get here?"

"Well, your maid Angelica let me in. She's really sweet that one."

"Did she feed you? She makes these amazing muffins."

"The chocolate caramel ones? Yeah, they're amazing."

Kurt said, removing his jacket and sitting on the foot of Blaine's bed. Blaine grabbed his guitar and plucked the strings a little bit on it, and smiled nervously at Kurt. Kurt nodded at him, and took his hand to calm him down a little bit.

"Okay, so I started writing this a couple weeks ago. Mostly the music first, but the lyrics came over time. May I present…. 'Any Of Those Things'."

"Last time you were mine, I was just a kid

I didn't know there were consequences for what I did

Then at times it was good, though when it got bad

I didn't have much pride, I gave it everything I had

Cut to today,

I've lived enough to know that love is such a mess

I have to say that seeing you with someone new has got me pretty curious."

Kurt was listening to Blaine sing, and it was the most perfect thing for him. Blaine could sing, but this much Kurt knew from his experiences with Blaine in Glee club. But this seemed like a perfect song for Blaine. Kurt nodded lovingly at his boyfriend, and encouraged him to go on, knowing that Blaine wouldn't without some form of encouragement. Blaine smiled and went ahead, singing the song to Kurt.

"Is he gonna kiss you in the rain?

Is he gonna cook on Sunday?

Is he gonna love you?

No, he won't do any of those things

Is he gonna take you when he goes?

When it's out of his way

Is he gonna miss you?

No, he won't do any of those things

No, oh no, he won't do any of those things

Remember there was a time we used to laugh

You said nobody else could make you do that

Sometimes I got it right, even when I got it wrong

I really thought you meant I was the only one."

And Blaine stopped playing. He smiled at Kurt, and that's when Kurt realized that was all that Blaine had. Kurt clapped for his boyfriend and pulled him in for a kiss. Blaine lay his guitar gently on the floor and let himself melt into Kurt's kiss. Blaine felt his hands go up Kurt's shirt, and Kurt bristled and pulled back. He shook his head, and smiled lovingly at him.

"Not yet, gorgeous. Not yet. We have plenty of time for that. Anyway, I have to go back home. Finn can only distract my dad for so long, before he gets suspicious. But, Anderson…I look forward to seeing your project tomorrow, and hearing the rest of that song…on Friday."

"Same to you Hummel, about your project I mean."

Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt slowly and deeply. He watched as Kurt left, blowing him a kiss as he walked out the door. Then Blaine rushed over to the window, and opened it, watching as his boyfriend carried a basket full of muffins from Angelica. He smiled and then yelled out the window.

"Good night! Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."

Kurt turned around and looked up at the window, blushing. Blaine had just quoted Romeo & Juliet to him. Blaine loved watching Kurt blush, and if he could do it every day, he'd be the happiest man on the planet. Kurt searched his brain until he found the most perfect line. He looked up at Blaine and smiled, delivering his line flawlessly, wearing all of his emotion on his face.

"Love goes towards love as schoolboys from their books. But love from love, toward school with heavy looks."

Blaine grinned and watched as Kurt waved at him once more, making his way towards his car and driving off. Blaine smiled to himself, and that's when he realized it. He was in love with Kurt, and nothing was stopping that.
