Chapter Ten - Leave
"We work together..." the miko drifted off, obviously uncomfortable in the direction the conversation turned.
It was now that the hanyou joined in. "It's none of your business, hag."
"Inuyasha!" the miko yelled, her surprisingly strong aura lashed wildly for a moment before she reigned it back in.
Yoshiko merely smiled. "I see. My sincerest apologies."
Sesshomaru listened from the door. His mother's behavior was beyond ridiculous, but he had been 'advised' to stay out of the way.
'How irritating.' Sesshomaru turned and left. He wished he could leave the castle entirely, but Yoshiko insisted he attend the ceremony.
