Okay, I know I have some apologies to make. Sorry about the last tale. It was supposed to be a very late Halloween treat that was originally a haunting tale. So for those who were a little shocked or disturbed, I am very sorry. :(
However, there will still be dark tales, but I will put a warning for those who get disturbed easily. So feel free to skip the dark tale when I warn you of it, but keep your eyes peeled for the next tale which will be lighthearted and beautiful. (Also, magical!)
This chapter is an intermission. Enjoy! :)
Once again, a white endless view was present. Nothing was seen from miles away. However, one area had lots of chatting going on. From arguing, comforting, and laughter, a bunch of people were huddled into a group discussing among themselves on how to end the nightmare.
"I say we burn that mirror and make it suffer!" a young blonde girl shouted into the air and received lots of appraising noises. Even a small pig was oinking loudly. Beside the blonde girl stood Dipper. He tried to comfort her as she shook with fear and with a desire to get her revenge.
"But Pacifica, that mirror is indestructible! It even has powers." Dipper explained as he looked around with paranoid eyes, knowing that the mirror will soon come again. And he was right. Stimulatio appeared out of thin air which made everyone jump.
"So my little fools, have you decided on what your next story shall be?" Stimulatio's voice rang through the area and poofed the fantasy book into Dipper's view.
"No? Well then, choose little subject of mine."
With shaking hands, the brunette boy took the book and skimmed through the thin pages. Each page was written with small letters and even had drawings. Each drawing seemed similar to someone he knew in the small town of Gravity Falls. Now that was something he didn't notice before.
"Why are there pictures this time?"asked Dipper while examining the book from a closer distance.
"Each story that is completed will show the parts in which each of you has played in. The scenes shown are actually what you have experienced." Stimulatio replied in a calm voice.
Dipper shivered at the thought of being thrown into the fire as well as Pacifica, who hugged him and laid her head on his shoulder. The both stared at the latest story they were in and then stared at the old man who betrayed them. He was right beside them.
"Grunkle Stan..." Dipper's word trailed off and was quickly hugged by Stan.
"Kid, you know I would never do such a thing to you. I am your great uncle and I am here to protect you and your sister." Stan said. Dipper shook his head in understanding, but was still scarred mentally from the latest story.
After a moment of being awkwardly hugged by two people, one from his sister's enemy and one from his great uncle, Dipper shook them off and resumed to look through the selections.
"We should stay on the safe side. Little Red Riding Hood...the wolf and the lumberjack, Pinocchio...that will turn someone into a wooden puppet then someone is going to get gobbled up by a whale, Aladdin...too risky and the genie, which one?"
Stimulatio laughed at the boy's struggling and lowered himself to Dipper's level.
"Now now, don't fret little boy. Choose one title and be done with it." Stimulatio taunted Dipper which made him irk at the title of little boy.
"Also, this is reminder for everyone that these tales you are in do not permanently affect you. You will however, feel their pain and emotions through this."
Everyone stared at the mirror with horror even if they knew that small detail. Each one could've sworn that with each story that passed, Stimulatio becomes darker and creepier looking. His frame was becoming darker and he was starting to rust. The mask's shadow in the mirror was becoming pitch black and his white glow turned to a light grey color.
...
Minutes passed by and there was no response from Dipper. He turned the pages and disagreed with every story there was. He knew these stories will not affect anyone but, the pain was unbearable. He and Pacifica were thrown into the fire and he felt the horrible burn that burned his wooden flesh. No matter what Stimulatio said, that will be a traumatic experience that no one should ever go through.
At this point, Stimulatio was losing his patience. He felt that he needed to wait every time he wanted something. Back in his castle, everyday he would hear from his master, "Who is the fairest one of them all?" The mask was just sick of agreeing with the evil queen every day. Although, just thinking of the evil queen and past events gave him an idea. Something that would probably make the humans happy and still is in his favor.
"Do you all enjoy Christmas fairy tale stories?" Stimulatio asked throughout the open space which made everybody move further back.
"Some of them are beautiful and bring smiles to your face from the jolliness of the season, despite the fact that it is the peak of summer."
Dipper looked up from his book with confusion and was speechless. One tale he remembered from the past, or three years ago to be exact, was 'The Nutcracker.' Mabel used to take ballet classes and performed as a dancing snowflake in the show. He remembered the night in which his parents dragged him to Mabel's performance, even though he would rather stay home and play an online game that was popular. However, he did pay attention to the tale of the show.
The young preteen opened his mouth to try and speak his request until he felt an arm go around his shoulders. It was Pacifica.
"Dipper Pines! Don't fall for his tricks. These stories are twisted! No one here should suffer their pain and fear. Especially your loser sister and her weird friends." Pacifica scolded him and tried to shake some sense into him. She tried to reason with Dipper in a quiet tone, but failed.
Mabel, Candy, and Grenda heard her words which made them clench their hands with fury.
"Hey! Just because your-" Grenda angrily said until she was cut off by the rich blonde.
"Oh shut up! At least thank me for what I'm doing for you losers." Pacifica shushed her tall enemy and turned her attention to Dipper once again.
"Come on Dipper. What do you say?"
Dipper looked around only to see that everybody's eyes were fixed onto him which made him feel slightly uncomfortable. It felt like the fate of every citizen in Gravity Falls was in his hands. Even his twin sister gave him puppy like eyes and her mouth worded the word yes. Beside her was Waddles who oinked in a worried tone.
The brave preteen took a deep breath and looked up at Stimulatio who had his attention on him as well.
"We would like to do The Nutcracker." Dipper clearly said which made everyone gasped. Pacifica glared at him and tried to punch Dipper's arm.
"Well there little boy, I say that what you have chosen is a good choice. It is a tale that has been enjoyed for decades and has been turned into a play that sheds spotlight on the dance of ballet. Especially in the holiday season is when you all will hear about this story. Little boy, your request is my command. Now all I need is some cast members for the tale."
Stimulatio laughed as he flew into the crowd which made some scream and others yell insults at him. The magical mirror didn't care about their actions as he looked through everyone trying to find the perfect face for the young heroine of the tale, The Nutcracker.
"No. No. Not even close. No...wait! I sense an idea spring into my mind." Stimulatio excitedly said and rose up from the ground. He closed his eye less eye holes and soon enough a yellow sparking glow surrounded him as he chanted some strange words. The mask was chanting the same words that a certain white tall haired boy standing in the crowd has recognized.
"Is he chanting what I think he's chanting..." Gideon whispered to himself and backed away from the crowd.
From Stimulatio's words, a red eye appeared in the air next to him. The eye then slowly began to form a triangular shape around itself. A black bow tie was placed on the bottom center of the triangle and had a tall black hat on his top corner. The triangle demon was none other than Bill Cipher.
"Who dares interfere with my sleep!? Which one of you mortal idiots woke me up from my sweet dreams filled with death!?" Bill roared to the scared crowd which returned to a tight, huddled group. The one eyed demon looked around the group until his eyes met Stimulatio which made him return to his clownish dark mode.
"So talking mirror...we meet again."
Bill floated closer to the mask in the mirror and tipped his hat at the mask. Below the two supernatural beings, stood Dipper and Pacifica as they slowly walked toward Mabel.
"Did you remember my ballet show, Dipping Sauce?" Mabel whispered to Dipper and received a nod from him as well as an eye roll from Pacifica.
"Little triangle demon, how is the underworld for you?" Stimulatio talked and acted as if Bill was an old friend he hasn't seen in ages.
"Oh, you know it's beautiful as always. Fire everywhere, people screaming, dark laughs, pools of blood...yup just a beautiful paradise." Bill glowed with each word being said. "How is that dumb old master of yours?"
"Queen Emma is doing fine. In fact you can speak to her right now."
Again, Stimulatio closed his eyes and instantly made a foggy image appear on his reflection. The image then began to clear up and showed a woman sitting in a royal throne whose green emerald eyes were reading through a book. Her black hair was long and she wore a purple silky dress with small gems decorated onto it. On her head was placed a golden crown which signified that she was royalty. It even was amazing at how beautiful she was, yet she has a very cold heartless soul.
"Who is that?" asked someone in the crowd of people which got the queen's attention and glares from those around them.
The evil queen rose her head in a hauntingly way which actually did seem creepy and her eyes moved to each person and demon there was which made her smirk.
"Dirty peasants, how dare you present yourselves in front of royalty without my consent!" Queen Emma snapped as she stood up from her throne with the book still in her hands.
"Mirror, mirror, what have you done presenting these disgusting hogs in front of my royal presence?!"
Dipper and Mabel glared at the evil queen, guessing that this huge fairy tale conflict had something to do with the no good queen. They were however confused that Bill knew Stimulatio, but they assumed that there was more to the triangle demon in his background story that they didn't know of. The question is, how did Bill meet these two mystical fairy tale characters?
"Now your majesty, these fools fell for it." Stimulatio replied in a calm voice while his face was not seen. "Also, Bill is here."
The queen's smirk instantly into a frown which was suspicious for the twins. Her tall posture lowered down and her shoulders were hunched back became intense.
"Bill...long time no see..." Emma quietly said while her voice quivered in anger. "I can't believe I would see your hideous face again..."
Bill glowed brighter in a reddish color which showed how hostile he was becoming from the queen's harsh words.
"Look you royal stupid mortal; at least be thankful for what I have done for you!" Bill angrily reminded the queen. Emma just stood quietly while trying to avoid the demon's red eye. An awkward silence occurred in the endless area which made the situation less intense. Dipper then decided to break the silence.
"So your majesty, you have something to do with all of this! Why can't we just end all of this right now?" Dipper spoke up and stood taller and firm on the ground.
Queen Emma moved her eyes once again on to the brunette boy and snickered at his confidence.
"Why, aren't you an adorable little boy? You seem like a ray of sunshine and have a lot of potential inside of you. I'm guessing that brown haired girl next to you is your sister, hmm? Such beautiful children filled with smiles and hope. And for those reasons, it is why I always hated children. Especially my sickening stepdaughter, Snow White." the queen teased Dipper. "Also, you rats can't stop these stories for numerical reasons."
Before Dipper could protest to the royal woman, what can easily be heard from the queen's background is someone rushing into the area and was huffing to catch their breath. Some words that Dipper made out from the background was, "Snow White has ran...free now...dark forest." He wasn't surprised at what was happening there because of knowing the story's original plot.
"I have to leave now. Also, Stimulatio...please don't ever do what you just did again or I will break you into pieces!"
The queen then vanished from the mirror's reflection and soon Stimulatio appeared again.
"Isn't she a lovely person? Oh well, let's begin The Nutcracker because I assume the audience are very eager to see the presentation. The cast is already decided. Now let's begin, shall we?"
Stimulatio rose the ones he had in mind for each character in the story and then vanished in the air with the humans he took with him. Even Bill was gone from the view of those left behind.
Yay, Christmas tales are next! Also, the next tale will be beautiful like The Prince and the Pauper, which was a huge success for this story. Next story will be filled with dreams, fantasies, and talking toys. (And, ballet!) :D
Again, I'm sorry from the last tale. :( (I have learned from my mistakes, but it's not my fault for the darkness behind The Brothers Grimm tales.) Anyway, look forward to the next tale!
