Cat's POV

"Are we ever going to see them again?" Ty asked. We sat in a hotel room near Disneyland. Ty and I had made a compromise. We would go to Disneyland first, then to Vegas. I don't know why Ty chose Vegas, but what was going on in his mind was something I didn't need to know.

"What?" I asked.

"I asked if we were ever going to see Adam, Jason, and Hazel again," Ty repeated. I sighed. Olympus was plagued, which means that the gods and goddesses are getting sick. That's the problem. Everyone knows that the gods can't get sick, or get killed. What's going on up there is bad, and the world is going into chaos. That's where Hazel, Jason, Adam, Ty and I come in. We were chosen to stop this plague and fix everything.

"Of course, none of us had a choice for this to happen," I said.

"Yeah I know. I wouldn't want to be here either. I much rather be with Jason and Adam anyways," Ty said. I could feel Ty's emotions. I think he thought I was talking about being teamed with him instead of Hazel. Ugh.

"It's not that. It's just that," I thought for a moment. "I just didn't want to be the one who has to save the world, or be blamed for ruining everything."

"Well, you've read the books. The good guys always win," Ty replied. I glanced at him. He was lying on his bed, flipping through the stations on the T.V.

"Not all the time," I mumbled.

"What?" Ty asked.

"Nothing," I said. I looked at my sketch pad. I grabbed it and summoned a pencil. Flipping to an open page, I thought about what to draw. I blinked.

There was a girl. She was running, as if looking for something. In fact, she was. The girl glanced around nervously. She looked at a doorway, then walked through it. Uncapping a sword, she walked up to the edge of the top of a building. Clouds gathered in the sky. Lightning flashed, illuminating the girl's eyes.

I sucked in a big breath. Ty snapped his head to look at me.

"What happened? What's wrong? Did you see anything?" he asked quickly.

"No, I'm fine. Just a little light headed," I told him. Ty nodded. I looked down at the pages I held in my hands. I put the pencil to the paper. I watched as the image became clear, the moment I finished sketching the hair. The details were minor, but I made sure the sword was neatly drawn. I glanced at Ty, to only notice that he was asleep. I stared at the back of the girl I drew. Then I grabbed a pillow, put it in front of my face, and screamed.

Time Skippidy Doo

The beeping of the wake up call kept repeating itself, demanding attention. There was no way it was morning already. Ugh. Mourning morning. Yep. I'm pretty sure that's where that came from. I opened my eyes, then immediately wished I hadn't.

"Too bright," I complained. Ty laughed. He was already ready for the day.

"I woke up early," he said. I nodded for no reason. I looked down at the dress I was wearing and sighed. "Can't you just summon new clothes?"

"Of course. I'm the personal maid. Summon this, summon that," I mocked. I summoned new clothes anyways. Not for Ty's sake, but for mine.

"Thank you," Ty said. I rolled my eyes and went into the bathroom. I didn't know what I was expecting when I looked into the mirror. I certainly didn't expect that my hair was that big of a mess. Whatever. I showered then got out. I looked at the clothes I had summoned for myself. I slipped on the shorts and red shirt. Pulling my hair up, I stared into my eyes. Nothing was strange about them but the color changing. I brushed my teeth before hearing a knock on the door. I spit out the toothpaste and wiped my mouth. I opened the door.

"What?" I asked.

"Are you done yet?" Ty asked.

"I am now," I said as I rolled my eyes.

"You take forever," Ty complained.

"What time did you get up?" I wondered. Ty shut his mouth. I smirked. I eyed Ty. "Shouldn't you be in some sort of disguise? It's a very popular place, and you getting mauled by fangirls wouldn't be helping us with the quest," I explained.

"I guess," Ty mumbled. I rolled my eyes, then focused on Ty's features. Nothing had changed for me, but any human would see an entirely different person.

"There," I said. Ty looked into the mirror.

"I haven't changed," he said.

"You don't have to. The mist just has to do its job. Now let's go!" I said. I walked out of the bathroom and turned to see my suitcase sitting on the floor. I opened it and got a book bag out. I turned and reached for my sketch pad.

"Oh, and by the way, that was a pretty interesting drawing that you drew last night," Ty commented. I froze. I continued to put the drawings into the bag as soon as I recovered from the shock.

"Ready to meet Disneyland?" I asked.

"You think I haven't been to Disneyland before?" Ty questioned. I shrugged. Ty tossed me the key to the room. I caught it, then put it into my bag. We walked out without breakfast. Stupid move.

"We'll have to get something to eat at Disneyland," I told Ty. He nodded. The bus ride there wasn't that long, but felt like days. As soon as we got off, I summoned passes to get in. I walked up and handed a worker the ticket.

"Have a nice day," they said. I nodded and grabbed Ty's wrist. I dragged him through the park, leading him to a restaurant. It was busy.

"Great," Ty complained. I sat down into a seat and sighed. Ty picked up a menu. "Why did this place have to be filled with people.

"Why? What do you want?" I asked.

"This," Ty said. He pointed.

"Okay," I said slowly. I thought long and hard, willing myself to create something to please the child sitting across from me. When it appeared in front of him, he yelped.

"Did you?" Ty stuttered.

"Of course," I smirked. I summoned a Mickey Mouse waffle, with all of my favorite toppings. I smiled, then dug in. After finishing, I stood up.

"Don't we have to pay?" Ty asked.

"Did they actually do any work?" I replied.

"Good point. Where first?" Ty wondered. I thought for a moment where I wanted to go.

"Fantasyland," I said after a while.

"Too far," Ty complained.

"Just like Vegas," I responded.

"Never mind. I could use the exercise," Ty remarked. I chuckled and walked to Fantasyland.

"Inspect everything. Something is here, I know it," I told him. Ty nodded. He walked up to something.

"Maybe this sword comes out?" he questioned. He turned towards me.

"Maybe. Give it a try," I commented. Ty yanked. Nothing happened.

"Cat. You try," he said after a while. I walked up to the podium. I put my hands on the hilt, and tugged. Now, shock settled in after a while.

"Ty, I know King Arthur is the original, but how does Queen Cat sound?" I asked.

"Um. You know. Yeah," Ty stuttered out. I quickly summoned a replacement sword.

"There," I told him. The swords could be twins.

"So does that transform into anything?" Ty asked. I shrugged. I gave the sword to Ty, who almost fell over, probably because of the weight, then stuffed my hands in my pockets. When I felt what I was looking for, I pulled it out. It was an anvil with a little cut in the top.

"I got this with a sword in it when I was little. The sword somehow got lost over time. I brought it with, not sure why. Maybe it's because it's my clear memory of my Dad buying this for me. He told me that Mom wanted him to buy it for me," I explained. "Let me see the sword."

"Okay," Ty said. He hurled the sword at me way too fast. I concentrated for a fraction of a second. I looked around. Everything around was moving in slow motion. I walked up to the sword, and touched the tip to the opening in the anvil. As it did, my powers stopped and everything was normal again.

"I was right. It's a key chain," I smiled. Ty stared at me in shock.

"So I didn't almost kill you?" he asked. I nodded. He let out a breath he was holding.

"Well, that's that for Fantasyland," I commented.

"Or for Disneyland," Ty said.

"You really want to be done?" I asked.

"Well, if we aren't going on any rides, then yes," Ty replied.

"Ty, with all dues of disrespect, we're on a quest. When we get done, you can shadow travel to whichever ride you want. For now, it's only business," I sighed. I felt bad, since I wanted to go on some rides myself.

"It's fine. I heard that Disney is having a festival. Celebrating the Hercules movie and such," Ty said.

"When'd you hear that?" I asked him.

"It's on that poster," Ty replied, pointing.

"Going on right now," I mumbled.

"Yeah. So are quests usually like this?" Ty wondered. That caught me off guard.

"Uh. No," I admitted.

"What makes this one so different?" Ty asked.

"I usually don't lead. I get distracted easily," I answered.

"What?" Ty asked.

"I follow Ty. But now, I have to lead," I sighed.

"Oh. Sorry," Ty told me. I put my hand up.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. Right now I have to step up and be a leader, so that's what I'll do. Now, the Nosi are most likely to attack during the parade. That gives us until tomorrow. Right now, we should probably try to find some areas that they could be waiting at," I instructed.

"Like the Haunted Mansion," Ty suggested.

"Maybe. That's definitely where to check first though," I agreed.

"Great, let's go," Ty smiled. He grabbed my hand, and, I don't know what happened, but we were surrounded by darkness. I closed my eyes, which was stupid, and tried to ignore the sick feeling I was getting.

"Are we there yet?" I asked quietly.

"Yes Cat," Ty said. I opened my eyes. We were in the elevator. He then turned and screamed.

"What?" I asked.

"That," Ty said pointing. I looked.

"That's a painting," I smirked.

"Oh," Ty said. I laughed. "Hey! With this Demigod business, how am I supposed to know what's real and what's fake."

"By learning," I said.

"Then why is that painting about to throw something at us?" Ty asked, panicked. I glanced at the painting.

"Duck!" I yelled as something was hurled at us.

"What is that!" Ty yelled.

"Nosi. Disease spirits. Don't let them bite you, or you'll get diseased," I explained. I then turned to charge at the Nosi. I uncapped Excalibur, teleported, and stabbing it straight into the Nosi. However, it did little effect, and it turned around to bite me. I dodged, then looked at Ty.

"If it's a spirit, could I control it?" he asked.

"I don't know! Just do something!" I screamed at him, blocking another attack with my sword. I ran, but the Nosi was hard to shake. I felt it grab me, and I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Cat!" Ty yelled. Suddenly, I could no longer feel the Nosi. I opened my eyes.

"What did you do?" I questioned, looking at Ty, who looked like he was about to pass out.

"I don't know," he replied out of breath. "I just saw you about to freaking die, then it disappeared."

"Yeah. But did you do anything?" I repeated.

"I put my hand up like this," Ty responded. He put his hand up. I watched as skeletal soldiers rose up from the ground. "Whoa."

"Whoa is right," I whispered. I looked at Ty and smiled. He put his hand down and the soldiers went back into the ground. I turned my attention to a painting, now bored.

"Still learning full abilities. Terrifying," Ty said.

"What?" I asked, turning to him.

"My father is the lord of the Underworld. That's terrifying," Ty sighed.

"I guess. Why so scared though? Not like anything bad will happen," I said, trying to calm him.

"I'm dangerous. I could instantly kill a person. I don't want that. I never wanted that! I just wanted to be somebody. Now that I have the power, I'm practically paralyzed after I try to use it," Ty complained.

"It gets easier," I promised.

"How did you handle it?" Ty asked. I looked at Ty.

"I didn't. Ty, I was a lot like you. Dangerous. The ability to kill with the flick of my hand. I guess, I sort of found a distance," I explained.

"A distance?" Ty questioned.

"A new perspective. A distance, a connection. A distance from everyone," I whispered.

"You make no sense sometimes," Ty said, smiling.

"Well. Usually when words come out, I don't think while saying them," I explained. Ty nodded, then looked around.

"Shouldn't this be opened by now?" Ty asked.

"Uh. I think so," I replied. I started to look around.

"Can't you just teleport us out then?" Ty questioned.

"Yeah. I guess," I replied. I took his hand, then imagined us outside the ride. I opened my eyes.

"Gods I hate doing that," Ty sighed.

"Yeah. Get used to it," I commented.

"Ha. No," Ty growled. I rolled my eyes.

"This is a lousy quest compared to all the ones before it," I commented. "There must be something we're missing."

"Each other?" Ty whispered. What?

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing," Ty replied, turning red.

"Uh huh," I said. I started walking. After about an hour or two of looking, I decided that we should take a break. I turned to face Ty, who was singing the lyrics to Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.

"What?" he asked.

"It's time for a break. Any certain ride you want to go on?" I asked.

"Really? How about Splash Mountain?" Ty said, eyes lighting up.

"Okay. Then Space Mountain," I replied, smiling as well.

"Yay!" Ty yelled. He then grabbed my hand. It felt like I was riding a roller coaster of my own. It was also dark. I hate the dark.

"Ty!" I screamed, as the suddenly darkness faded, the motion stopping.

"Dang. I'm tired now," Ty sighed.

"You used shadow travel?" I screamed.

"Maybe," he replied. I looked at the tall ride above us, and sighed.

"Whatever. It's time to have some fun," I smiled.

A/N: Hey everyone. This chappie is very late... I apologize. School has got me busy, and I am very stressed because of one particular teacher, but that's not important. Pnut (who has politely been pming me about this) keeps reminding me, so I finally found a few moments. So yeah.
