Puck knocked on Sabrina's door, loudly.

Sabrina knew that Puck always knocked excessively, unnecessarily, and obnoxiously loud. Sabrina also knew that this was louder and not exactly meant to be obnoxious. Finally, she knew the exact reason he was knocking so hard.

The door burst open.

"Put the book down." Puck said. It was unnecessary, though. It was already shut around the finger marking her place and resting on her lap. She smirked at him.

"You've left me to sit and stew for long enough! What do you want to talk about?" He said, waving his arms around. Sabrina stifled a laugh.

"You're hilarious when you're flustered." She responded.

"Hilarious? Flustered?" He said, his voice cracking on the 'u' in flustered. He put a hand to his mouth, partly in shock and partly to hide his blush. "I- I mean. I'm the King of Tricksters! I'm never flustered, or a source of cheap entertainment!"

Sabrina didn't stifle her laugh this time. "Alright, whatever you say." She mocked his voice crack on the 'a' in say.

Puck stuck out his tongue before exhaling sharply. "But really, what do we need to talk about?"

It was Sabrina's turn to get flustered. Her played with the ends of her hair and looked down. The scenario played out a million times better in her head: He burst in flustered, she made fun of him, he got more flustered, she kissed him and smirked, he got even more flustered, she walked away all smug, and he was left behind gazing at the floor and smiling.

Sabrina sighed. Everything was always better in her head.

"Sabrina? Hello-o? Anyone in there?" Puck asked and knocked on her head.

"Ow!" She said, punching him, not hard exactly, but not soft either.

"Ow!" Puck jumped back and rubbed his shoulder where she punched him. "Not fair! You hurt me more than I hurt you!"

"What are you , ten?" Sabrina Retorted.

"No, I'm thirteen. You should know that. It is your fault after all." Puck snarled.

"I didn't make you grow up, you dunce. That was your doing."

"Yeah, because you made me want to with your dumb, girl sorcery!"

"Dumb girl sorcery? More like stupid fairy boy puppy love!"

"Love? Are you saying I love you now!?"

"You should see the way you look at me! It's pathetic!"

"Pathetic!? I'm pathetic!?"

"No, I was talking about the floor!" She stood up. "Yeah dummy, You're pathetic!"

"Pathetic can describe a lot of things Grimm, but not me."

"Oh really, everything about you is pathetic, Puck. Your pranks, your personality, your unending love for me-"

"I'm not pathetic! You wanna see something pathetic? Look in the mirror at your perfect face!" Puck realized his mistake as soon as it came out of his mouth, but played it off, hoping she wouldn't notice.

"Perfect?" of course she noticed.

"I said pathetic, are you deaf now too?" He said, hoping that sounded believable enough.

"No, you said perfect." Sabrina was grinning now. This was gold.

A blush was forming on Pucks face. "Pathetic! I said pathetic, since you named it word of the day!"

"You're blushing now! You totally said perfect! Tell me, Puck, what else about me is perfect? My hair? My eyes?"

Puck needed an escape plan. Quick.

Puck didn't know what awful impulse came over him, because this was the worst plan he'd had in a while. And that includes eating two dozen donuts in 10 minutes.

He responded. "Yes."

"What?" Sabrina's expression transformed from smug to confusion.

"You got me, Sabrina. I think you're perfect in every way: your face, your hair, your eyes, and your intelligence. You're perfect, Sabrina, perfect."

"Puck, quit messing around. It's getting weird."

"But I'm not messing around, my love," My love? Where did that come from? "You are so incredibly perfect!" He grabbed her hands. She tried to pull them away. She was getting flustered. The plan was working. He leaned in to kiss her, his lips exaggeratingly puckered.

"Sabrina, it's time for- WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?"

Both of them turned to the voice in the door, looking like deer in headlights. Of course it was Henry. Of course Sabrina's over protective father would come in while Puck was almost kissing her. He just wanted to freak Sabrina out. He wasn't really going to kiss her.

The Sabrina broke out laughing. Both boys looked at her, confused.

"Oh, man, dad. You have the most hilarious timing!" She said in between laughs. "Right Puck?"

Puck laughed uneasily, trying to figure out what was happening. "Yeah! Yeah he does!"

"What do you mean? What's going on?" Henry said sternly.

"Puck and I were practicing for this skit-thing we have to do for school! He wasn't actually going to kiss me!" She kept laughing.

Puck stared at her, silently admiring for her on-the-spot lying. He'd never tell her though.

"How come I haven't heard about it before?" Henry asked, suspicious and still a little angry.

"Oh, it's not much of a big deal. It's just for English class. You interrupted us right at the good part, though. I was about to push puck to the ground and stomp on his head!" She kept laughing, but Puck got the message. 'Don't try that again. Ever.'
