Lilly managed to avoid her friends for awhile. She almost gave in to chatting with Colt until her eyes, met a sight she wished she hadn't.

Colt had Sally Mae pinned to the wall, locking lips in a secluded hall.

Lilly just wanted to find a peaceful place to wonder down. Her eyes nearly bulged from her head. It's a good thing she kept the love she felt for him locked up tight.

"What about, Makenzie?" Sally Mae asked, able to catch her breath once Colt rested his forehead against hers.

Lilly rose an eyebrow at the mix up of names. How could the blonde forget? Unless, she was being played the entire time.

"It's Makayla, and she practically turned me down." Colt bitterly murmured. Her recalled the terrible way his best friend had rejected him.

Sally Mae sighed, placing a light hand on his shoulder in comfort. "She'll come around eventually."

Colt frowned, feeling her words to be a lie. "I don't think so. If she knew what we were doing then she surely wouldn't speak to me. Never mind, look at me."

Scoffing, Sally Mae gave the boy a gentle shove to fold her arms. A pointed glare was given solely to the stubborn blue ninja. "Every action has a reaction."

Lilly bit her lips to withhold tears. Were her friends really hooking up behind her back? She'd love to believe it was hard to tell, but the girl knew better. She decided to leave it at that, and instead turned to go.

"Kayla!" Ashton called, catching up to the girl. A smile spread across his happy features. He frowned upon noting her sniffling like she had just been crying. He placed a comforting arm around her shoulders, soothing her.

Lilly was thankful he didn't pressure her into telling what was wrong. She let the drummer lead her into the cool air of the day.

Ashton helped her sit on a bench, allowing a calm silence to engulf them.

Rocky had so many emotions coursing through his veins. His most prominent emotion was his anger towards what just happened. He had sought Lilly out to tell her of what he, and Tum Tum had done only to find her eavesdropping on a hot topic. He would have followed to comfort the thirteen year old when another voice called to her.

"Colt!" Rocky seethed, startling the brunette who had resumed his makeout session with Sally Mae.

Colt furrowed his eyebrows, turning to his older brother. He was almost met with a fist, but ducked in time. "Rock, what are you-?"

"Ouch!" Sally Mae hissed, when Rocky's fist accidentally collided with her button nose. She sent the green ninja a glower, feeling a warm liquid trailing from her nose.

Rocky began profusely apologzing to the blonde girl. "Salem, I didn't mean to hit you. I was going for my ignorant brother!"

Sally Mae arched an eyebrow at the name. Did he purposely do it? "Uh, Rock, it's Sally Mae, and I know you didn't mean to, but still..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, violence is bad. I'm aware. Plus I know your name. It's easier to give you, your very own nickname." Rocky waved her away, already knowing what the chick was about to say.

A soft smile lit up her features. She felt guilt eating away at her for betraying Lilly. Frowning, she guessed it best to make it up to the girl, but how?

Colt lunged for Rocky, causing them to both crash land to the ground in a heap of a wrestling struggle. "Why did you try to attack me?!"

Rocky was able to tackle Colt into a pinned position to where he struggled to get from his older brother's grip. "You BOTH hurt, Makayla! She Saw you two together!"

Colt stopped fighting against his brother. His heart sinking quicker than a lifeboat. "She, uh, what...?" He couldn't believe the words he heard.

"Oh no..." Sally Mae trailed off, folding her arms. Her eyes were calculating. She had to catch up with her friend to reassure her what she saw was nothing.

Rocky got up off his brother. He helped pull Colt to his feet. His temper had slightly subsided. "Don't fret, her new boyfriend is comforting her. He seems like a pretty good guy." With that, Rocky angrily left the two idiots to their shared thoughts.

Jack got some unexpected news. He kept shaking his head in disbelief. He gaped at what his parents informed him of.

"This is ridiculous!" He shouted, scurrying from the home. He went looking for his friends which he usually met up with at the park. His eyes came across an odd pair, talking in a low whisper on the bench he shared with the 5 Seconds of Summer members.

"I hope he's happy with her." Lilly wiped her tears with the help of a concerned Ashton.

Ashton pursed his lips. He had a general idea of which guy she meant. "Kayla, you are beautiful in your mind, and soul. If he can't see your worth then he wasn't worth it."

"He toyed with me!" Lilly breathlessly countered, almost whacking the guy in the face with her hand. "He professed his love for me then turned around to kiss my friend, Sally Mae Jones."

Ashton nodded, sighing. He rubbed, soothing circles up and down her back.

The two opted to skip the rest of the school day to go to the park. They had a picnic, and talked for hours on end until Lilly felt even the tiniest bit better. The two were awaiting the sun to set to see the beautiful orange, pinks and, lavender of the sky when the sun kissed you goodbye for the night.

"Do you think they actually like each other or is it just a temporary fling? It's possible he's testing the waters to find what love is." Ashton did his best to offer up some advice.

"No, love maybe hurtful, but what he's doing is cruel, and uncalled for." Lilly nearly growled, startling the drummer.

Ashton looked uneasy. He would have said more when a new voice cut in.

"Lills, I didn't expect to find you chilling with my friend. You should meet Luke, Calum, and Mikey. They're pretty chill friends too. We mostly bet stupid things." Jack happily strode over, grinning from ear to ear.

Lilly grew startled by his revelation. "You've been hanging out with the members of my all time favorite band?"

"That he has," added a thickly accented aussie voice. Better known as Michael Clifford, followed by Luke, and Calum. "He goes on about my sister would be good at this-"

"Or my sister would have kicked your arse for that one!" Luke chirped, smirking after cutting Michael off.

"Yeah, he also mentioned your favorites are Luke, and Ashton. Judging by how often our little Ash slips away, he must be your favorite of the two." Calum softly chuckled, sitting next to the formerly anxious girl.

"I'm Makayla, but you can call me Lilly." She smiled, happy to have something to take her mind from her previous problems.

"Your ninja name," Calum blatantly stated.

"Ash won't stop talking about how cool you are." exaggered Michael, sitting on the other side of Ashton.

That left, a standing Luke and, a scowling Jack.

Jack really had something urgent to tell his little sister. He'd wait to give her some time to feel better. He had kept the band a secret, and all to himself; mostly promising not to bring attention to the already famous band.
