Smurx moved to take out whoever was sniping from the clock tower. He saw no builds near it, and so assumed that the sniper landed there initially and could only have so much loot. For all he knew, that was the shooter's only weapon. Materials weren't even a consideration. The more he thought about it, the easier the kill seemed and the faster he ran with anticipation.

He never made it into the Tilted Towers city limits. As rogue agent Smurx approached a white diesel truck that had both rear doors open, his world became one bright flash. The truck miraged to the left, then to the right as he tried to walk forward. As he was then hit with what felt like red hot pokers stabbing into him from all sides, he quickly threw his hands up in four different directions to built a stone fort around himself.

"We got people coming from Shifty!" Jacob cried over the radio.

Flashbangs, Smurx thought in astonishment. Of all the things to…

He heard footsteps approaching his fort and built a staircase beneath himself. Now one level above, Smurx yanked the six-shooter out of its holster and pointed it over the edge.

Blap! Blap!

He let off two shots and clapped an advancing disco diva in the head with both. A funk operative came running in out of nowhere, blasting a hand cannon. Unfortunately for him, Jacob had built up on a hill outside Tilted Towers to get a better angle and had Smurx covered. Both dance warriors went down side by side.
