Jack p.o.v

I could feel all the eyes on us as we walked back into the room side by side feeling very uncomfortable with all the sudden attention.

"Ok I am all ready to go," I said walking towards the group.

"Me to," Rose said and tried to follow but was stopped by Bunny.

"I don't think so Rose," Bunny said in a stern voice.

"Why not? I do know how to fight dad," she said determined.

"I know I know love but...I don't want you to get hurt," he said gently with concern in his eyes.

"Pa I understand why you are so worried, you don't want to lose me…but I am mini you remember, we were born with lucky feet I don't get shot don't easy...I can handle this," she explained as she wrapped her arms around Bunny's neck.

He hugged her back tight and heaved a sigh before he said, "you're growing up to fast on me, I feel like I'm losing ma baby girl."

"Oh Pa no matter how old I am, no matter what happens to me I am and always will be your baby girl" she said and broke the hug with a smile. He smiled back before he kissed her gently on the forehead.

"She's one of us cotton tail, we'll watch her back," I said trying to reassure him with a confident smile.

"Yes Bunny, everyone watch out for each other till our last breath," North added backing me up as he 'gently' slapped a supportive hand on my shoulder.

'Well most of us at least' I thought as I recalled that I don't actually breath.

"Thanks guys," Rose said gratefully before turning to Bunny.

"Now let's go find your sister, "Rose said with full confidence and Bunny just chuckled with a nod.

Tooth flies back in record time holding to Lilyn's teeth and quickly hands them to Bunny with care. The group started walking towards the sled to set out on their mission when the pooka stops me with a hand on my shoulder.

"Look uh….I know I give ya a hard time a lot but umm well ya really came through when she disappeared….I think I'd feel better about Rose out there with you watching her back mate, "Bunny said seriously surprising everyone.

Rose p.o.v

I had to hide the huge grin on my face so nobody would think anything was up but I was so proud of my dad. I looked over at Jack's shocked face as a smile appeared that I don't think any of the guardians had ever seen before. They finally trusted him, Pa trusted him and they would never know how much that meant to him.

"Thanks Bunny. I won't let anything happen to her, I swear on my soul," Jack said.

We all gave him a bit of a funny look at the idea of swearing on his soul instead of his life but in the end it didn't make any difference to us.
It was good enough for Pa it seemed when he smiled back at the guardian of fun and replied, "I know frostbite."

"Ready?" I asked walking up to Jack, Tooth and Sandy to fly out.

"Always," he said with a mischievous smirk that made me want to felt then and there as he wrapped his arms around my waist securely.

I fly out with Jack and take one last look of pity for Pa who had been talked into going in the sled with North while we were talking.

Zoe p.o.v

I was in Pitch's old lair, it was mine for the taking since he was gone and someone had to use it in the name of fear. I was pacing the blackness of my home when a nightmare came up to me and nuzzled my hand as I pet it affectionately.

'M'lady the guardians hunt for you'

"Oh they are, are they?" I replied in smug tone.

The wheels in my head begin to turn as visions of different ways to torture the guardians came to mind. This is the trouble with variety I think, with so many delightful decisions how does one choose? Especially that pooka that haunts my every waking moment…hmm perhaps the same way I dealt with the pooka's mate would be fitting.

'Imagine the look on his face when I tell him it was I that tortured his dear wife to the brink of insanity before finally destroying her' I think to myself as a wicked grin forms on my face.

"Let them come my pet, lead them to me," I said to the nightmare who quickly turned and left without question.

"Yes, you want to play Easter Bunny? Then let the game begin," I mumbled to myself.
