He mutters something uncannily like "git", to which she smirks. "Been OD-ing on Clint Eastwood flicks?"
"No, GIT. You're my geek-in-training."
They almost laugh loud enough to blot out her instant mental playback: you're mine.
A scientific impossibility. Impossible that it was anything more than chemicals and hormones. Impossible that he'd love her if he only knew.
Speed of light statistic may not be accurate in Earth-16. But Wally West has done it before, in the comics.
