Ash's Precious Little Girl - Halloween Special #3: ^-^ The Nightmare! ^-^
Sunyshore City Pokemon Center: Ash's room (10:00 P.M.)…
"Finally I can get out of these ridiculous clothes and wear my real costume." Ash said in a quiet tone of voice since he didn't want to disturb Homura's nap. (She's sleeping on Ash's bed peacefully)
"Ash, don't be like that." Dawn said (In a quiet tone) to Ash. The young trainer (Who is now dresses as Naoto Shirogane) set down the school girl clothes on the desk as he turns his attention to Dawn. "You didn't look too bad in it. I honestly believed that you look cute in it." she slightly blushed when she said that to him.
"Huh?" Ash's cheeks slightly turn red when he heard this. He lowered his blue police cap down to hide his blush. "Um……."
Dawn giggled. 'He looks so cute when he blushes like that.' Dawn said to herself in her mind.
"Um…..thanks…..Dawn…..I guess….." Ash said to Dawn embarrassed, snapping the young coordinator out of her thoughts.
"Oh…..um…..you're welcome, Ash." she replied, slightly blushed.
Ash glances at Dawn as she glances at him. They shared a warm smile together. Off to the sideline, Brock, who was sitting on a chair along with Pikachu and Piplup, who were both standing on the desk (The same one where Ash set down the school girl clothes) smirked at this lovely scene.
'Those two need to hurry up and confess their feelings already.' Brock said to himself in his mind. Pikachu and Piplup would agree with him if only they have the ability to read his mind.
Ash and Dawn continued to stare at each other. No one can ruin this moment until the group heard Ash's stomach growled. "Huh…..I guess I'm getting hungry." Ash replied, rubbing the back of his head embarrassed.
Dawn giggled. "Oh Ash, you're always hungry."
"Hey!" the newly crowned Prince of Halloween pouted. "It's not my fault my stomach got a mind of its own. I kept help it." This cause Dawn to giggled at him even more. Ash frowned.
"Hey Ash!" Brock called out to his younger friend, getting up from his seat.
"Yeah Brock?" Ash replied, turning his attention to his friend.
"Let's go grab something to eat now then bring it back here." Brock suggested.
"Great idea, Brock!" Ash complimented. The hungry trainer turns his attention to his yellow buddy. "Want to come along, Pikachu?"
"Pi!" Pikachu nodded as he jumped onto his trainer's shoulder.
Brock turns his attention to Dawn. "Are you coming too, Dawn?"
Dawn shook her head. "Nah. You two boys go on ahead. I'll stay behind and watch over our little princess." Dawn said to her friend.
Brock can tell there was a hint of sarcastic within her voice when she said that. He decided to shrug it off since he knew Dawn and Homura still don't like each other but that didn't stop Dawn taking the role as big sister to watch over the little girl.
"That's a good idea, Dawn. I'm sure Homura appreciate you watching over her while we are gone." Ash replied, walking to his bed where the young girl was sleeping on.
'Yeah right.' Dawn said to herself in her mind. "No problem, Ash." she replied with a fake smile.
Ash smiled back at her as he turns his attention back to the sleeping girl. "Homura……Brock and I will be gone for a while…."
"…"
"But don't worry, Dawn will be here and keep company okay?"
"…"
Ash chuckled when he heard soft snoring noises coming from the little girl. He gently pushes away some of her hair to side from her face. She looks so innocent when she's asleep. Ash leaned forward and kissed her head then turns his attention to Brock. "We should get going Brock. If we get back earlier before Homura wakes up. We might have time to go to the haunted house."
"Alright, let's hurry then." Brock replied.
The two boys were about to head off until Dawn suddenly grabbed Ash's arm, preventing him to walk off. Ash halted his pace as he quickly spun around with confuse look on his face. "Dawn? What's the matter?" he asked.
Dawn didn't answer. She bit her lower lip. She didn't know why she stops him either. It's like her body move on its own. Without warning, Dawn leaned forward and kissed Ash's cheek, causing the young trainer to blush.
She pulls back with her red face. Ash looks baffled with a red face on why she just kisses his cheek? Brock along with Pikachu and Piplup smirked since they already know the reason she did it. "Um…….Dawn…..why did you……"
"Shouldn't you guys get going?" Dawn cuts him off as she quickly changes the subject, not looking into his eyes.
"Uh…..yeah we should….." Ash replied, still looking puzzled.
"Okay then well be careful." Dawn quickly said as she rushes over to the bed side and took a seat on a chair with Piplup sitting on her lap.
Ash turns to Brock, looking for some answers. "What's her problem?"
Brock just shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe we shouldn't bother her right now. Come on, we better hurry Ash."
Ash sighed. "Ok." he replied, glancing at Dawn one more time before exiting out the room with Brock.
With Ash and Brock gone, Dawn let out a sigh of relief for a second but then was startled when she heard some moaning and whimpering somewhere close to her. She glances around the room, hoping she wasn't hearing things.
"N….o……stop….it…….please….."
Dawn quickly turns attention her attention to sleeping girl. (So Homura was the culprit who was making all that noises) The young brunette was taken back when she sees wet tears leaking out from the young pinkish-blonde's shut eyes. Homura was whimpering softly as she gripped onto her covers tightly. This made Dawn looked concern for the young child.
"Hom…ura….." Dawn said quietly, placing her hand on the young girl's shoulder and shook her gently.
"St…..op……please…….don't….."
Dawn looked really worried now. She can tell Homura was having a nightmare. The young brunette continued to shook the tearful girl gently over and over again but no luck. No matter how may times Dawn shook tearful pinkish-blonde, Homura wouldn't response to her. The poor child kept on whimpering and moaning.
"Pip-lup…."
"I know Piplup; I'm worry about her, too." Dawn said with a concern look to her first Pokemon. Both of them continue to glances at the whimpering girl. 'Homura……'
Homura's dream…
In a middle-class house we find Homura hiding in a her room closet (With it slightly opened, allowing a small crack of light coming in) with a scare expression on her face along with wet tears pouring down from her greenish snake-looking eyes. It seems she was definitely frightened by something or some bodies. She was covering her mouth with both of her hands, making sure she doesn't make any sound.
BAM…
Homura freeze in her position when she heard her room's door bust down by force from someone. She can hear several foot steps entering her room. There were two figures, one male and one female with both of them wielding a razor sharp cutter knife within their grasp. (Both of them have a knife)
The knife-welding man seems to be in his mid-forties with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a collar, long sleeved white shirt (It is unbuttoned all the way, showing his bare upper body), blue jeans, and brown shoes. His face tells everyone that he was ready to kill. (A.k.a. Homura's father)
His accomplice (A.k.a. Homura's mother) seems to be two years younger than her husband with spiked blond hair, while the roots appear to be bright pink and greenish eyes. (Like Homura) She is wearing a pink kimono and was bare-footed. Like her husband, she also had the same look.
"Where is that little monster hiding at?" Homura's father demanded angrily.
"Don't worry honey; I know for sure I spotted that little brat running up here. Let's look around." his wife suggested. The man nodded in agreement.
Hiding in her closet, Homura was devastated and heartbroken to listen to her parents call her a monster and a little brat. What cause her parents to act this way? What did she do to make them treat her badly? Who knows? Only they know.
'Mommy……Daddy……' the poor girl cried in her mind. 'Do you really regret having me? What did I do to make you so angry at me?'
Her thoughts were cut off when she heard her things were being trashed around by her parents. "Where is that little trouble maker?!" the outraged father shouted.
"Calm down dear, we can't have our neighbors hear you shouting." his wife tries to calm down her husband.
"Who cares? Once we take care of that little monster, we can easily leave and move to different city. No one will ever know what happen here before it's too late."
"You're right, honey." his wife agreed. "Ever since I gave birth to her, she was nothing but misfortune and bad luck to us. Once we kill her then all of that can be put right behind us, dear."
"True." her husband grinned evilly.
Homura wanted to cry out loud when she heard this. This was too painful to even listen anymore. Maybe it was for the best if she died right now and don't have to suffer anymore. Nobodies is going to miss her once she's gone. Wet tears continued to flow down from her puffy eyes.
"Honey! Let's go check her closet. That's the only place we haven't look yet." the elder woman pointed out.
"Good idea. That brat must be hiding in there. Let's go." her husband said to her. The woman quickly agreed.
Homura can hear her parents' footsteps. They were inching closer to her closet. She knows her time was up. There was no where to run. She might as well accept her death since the two most important people in her life hates her guts. The young girl simply removed her hands from her mouth as she waited for her end. There was nothing left for her to live for.
BAM…
The closet's door opened wide as the two adults spotted their daughter sitting on the floor with a blank expression on her face. They saw tears still flowing down from her eyes. "There you are, you brat!" her father spat.
"…"
"It's time to receive your punishment, sweetie." her mother said to the emotionless girl, who was budging from her spot.
"Don't worry Homura…." her father begun. "It will be quick and painless." the cold-hearted father assured her.
"Oh….before you die Homura, we'll let you in on a little secret." her mother said to her daughter.
"…" Homura didn't respond.
"We have never once loved you. We only pretended to love you to keep some hope in your life but in reality, your life was nothing more but a lie, goodbye you little demon." her mother spat. Ouch! How cold-hearted can they be?
The two adults slowly raised their knives up high, preparing to stab at the poor girl, who still didn't budge a muscle but unaware to her parents, Homura's body was leaking out an eerie and evil flow of purple and black energy. Suddenly, the evil stream of purple/black energy burst out wildly. The two knife-wielding fiends were taken back when they saw this.
"What-the……"
"I knew it she was a little monster." the pinkish-blonde woman cried in fear as she saw Homura slowly got up to her feet.
"Say your prays, you little demon!" her husband said to his so called daughter.
"…"
Both adults lunged at their daughter with their knives in their hands. Bad move on their part because unaware to them, the two unexpected parents didn't expect that they were throwing their lives into the fire.
SLASH! SPLAT!
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" a loud scream was heard.
End dream…
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Homura screamed her head off as she quickly sat up with tears pouring down her face from her sleeping position. The poor girl glances around the room in panic.
"Homura! What's wrong?" Dawn asked the now awake but scared little girl, who continued to glance around the room back and forth.
Homura turns her head to glance at Dawn. "Dad…dy…..where's daddy?" she demanded with tears flowing down from her greenish eyes.
"Ash and Brock left to get something-" Dawn didn't finish her sentence when Homura cut her off.
"…..*sob…….daddy left me to die didn't him?"
"What?!" Dawn and Piplup look baffled on what she was talking about. "What are you talking about, Homura?"
The tearful pinkish blonde sniffed. She didn't respond. The little girl just lowered her head down with wet tears falling onto her bed sheets. Dawn can tell that Homura's nightmare was making her act this way. Dawn decided to comfort the poor girl. She leaned forward and embraced Homura.
The pinkish-blonde look shocked. "W-What are you……."
"It's ok, Homura. There's no need to cry. You were just having a nightmare plus Ash would never abandon you. Not him, not Brock, and including not me….." Dawn said to the little girl.
"Pip-lup!"
"Oh and Piplup too." Dawn corrected herself when she notices her Pokemon felt left out when she didn't mention him. Piplup looked happy when his trainer finally did mention him.
"R-Really?" Homura asked in disbelief.
Dawn pulls away from the embrace and nodded. "It's a promise." she offered the girl a warm smile.
"Why?" Homura asked curiously.
"Why what, Homura?" Dawn asked with a confuse look.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Homura demanded in a shy tone of voice as she wipes away her tears.
Dawn and her Piplup glances at each other for a moment then turn their attention back to the young girl. "It's because I was worry about you."
"Worry about….me?"
Dawn nodded.
Homura look away embarrassed. "I don't need you to worry about me…." Dawn frowned. "But….thank you…." Dawn let out a small smile.
"No problem, Homura." Dawn said to the young pinkish-blonde.
The young girl glances up and gives a small smile to her rival but soon turns her attention to Piplup when let out a bunch of noises.
"Pi-Plup-Pi-Pip-Lup-Lup-Pi!"
Homura glances at the blue penguin. "You were worry about me too?"
Piplup nodded.
Homura let out a warm smile. "Thank you." she said to him. Piplup looks happy. "But this doesn't change anything."
Dawn and Piplup frowned.
"I won't give up Daddy without a fight." Homura said to the two. Suddenly, Dawn giggled at her. "What's so funny?" she demanded.
"You sound like your daddy already." Dawn said, still giggling. Homura look dumbfounded. "The two of you are quite stubborn."
"What's that suppose to mean?" the pinkish-blonde demanded.
Dawn giggled, ignoring her question. "Hey….stop giggling…….."
"Why?"
"You are starting to weird me out." Homura replied, feeling uncomfortable to see Dawn continued to giggle at her. "Stop it!"
"No…." Dawn poked her tongue out childish at the young girl.
Homura glances at Dawn for a second until she started to giggle. Dawn smiled to see the young girl giggling.
20 minutes later…
"We're BACCCCCCCK!" Ash shouted out loudly.
"DADDY!" Homura chimed happily as she leaped out of bed and run over to Ash, who set down the food (The food he and Brock brought back with them) on the desk as the young girl wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Whoa! Hey Homura." Ash said to the young girl, who was hugging him. "You're up."
"Uh-huh." she giggled as she pulls away from the embrace.
"Were you bored when I was gone?
"Nope." Homura quickly shook her head. Ash looked surprise. He thought she would.
"Really?" he asked her curiously. The pinkish-blonde nodded happily.
"Uh-huh, big sister and I were having fun talking to each other." Homura replied cheerfully.
Ash blinked confusedly. "Big sister? Who's that?"
"Dawn!"
"What?" Ash said in disbelief as he turns his head to see Dawn talking to Brock. He let out a smile. Did Dawn and Homura work things out when he and Brock left? If so then that's great but there's something that has been bothering him and that was what were they talking about while he and Brock was gone?
"Um……Homura….."
"Yes Daddy?" Homura replied to her adopted father's call.
"What did you and Dawn have been talking about when Brock and I were gone?" Ash asked the pinkish-blonde.
"Nothing."
"Nothing?"
"Uh-huh, nothing that Daddy will understand about. It's a secret between me and big sister." the young girl replied cheerfully.
"What?"
Before Ash could get a chance to ask something else, Dawn called out to the two brunettes. "Hey Ash, Homura. Come on let's eat quickly before the haunted house closes in an hour."
"Ok….." Homura replied back. "Come on daddy, let's hurry." she pulls Ash's arm, dragging the young brunette.
