Pamela Rebecca Barnes, soon to be Ewing paced around her apartment with her fiancé, John Ross Ewing. "What's wrong Pam?" John Ross asked, sneaking up on her from behind, only to trap her in an affectionate hug. Pamela smiled.

"I'm just excited that's all, where do you think we should get married anyway? We haven't even decided yet!" Pamela stated. John Ross thought for a moment before smirking.

"How about Vegas? If always wanted to marry in Vegas" John Ross replied. Pamela spun around and stared wide eyed at her fiancé. "Vegas?! Are you kidding me?!".

John Ross grinned before sighing. "Of course I'm kidding! We'll get married at Southfork, every Ewing should! I know that's where Christopher and Amanda got married but hey, ours will be a lot better" John Ross scoffed, he then pinched Pamela's behind before picking her up and dragging her to their bedroom in the apartment.

Amanda Ewing waited in her bedroom before being assured that everyone had left Southfork. Once Pam, Bobby, Christopher, Sue Ellen and J.R had gone Amanda had settled downstairs, pouring herself a cup of tea and making lunch. When Amanda heard the Southfork door go she immediately attempted to dash to her bedroom, when a young brunette haired woman walked in. "Your not a Ewing. So, what can I do for you?" Amanda asked being sarcastic. The woman was Elena Ramos.

"If you don't mind me asking, who are you?" Elena asked, curious to know. Amanda smiled.

"I'm Amanda, Amanda Ewing. I'm Christopher's wife. And you are?" Amanda responded. Elena was shocked, she knew Christopher was married but she didn't know that his wife was living in Southfork.

Elena was just about to leave when she turned around once more. "Aren't you and Christopher separated though?". Amanda chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah I guess we are. I did leave to move to Manhattan but I came back as soon as I realised I was pregnant with Chris's child" Amanda explained. Another shocker for Elena.

Elena couldn't believe Amanda was pregnant and that Christopher hadn't told her. She knew that they had only been dating for a few days but it was still a big situation. "So, who did you come to see?" Amanda queried.

"I came to seem Christopher. We're kind of dating" Elena said in response. Amanda breathed heavily.

Awkward.

Before his meeting at Ewing Enterprises, Christopher first had to have a meeting with his uncle, Cliff Barnes, his best friend and adopted cousin, Pamela Rebecca Barnes and his mother, Pam Ewing. "So as your all aware I am selling my 25% in Barnes Oil to Christopher, I think he's reliable, sensible and valuable. We have already signed the papers and I believe when he is ready he should begin" Pam stated, informing Cliff and Pamela of her decision. Pamela smiled and was excited to be working with her best friend, however Cliff was not.

"I understand Christopher's commitment, Pam. And I love Christopher as my nephew but are you sure it's a wise move for Barnes Oil to have a Ewing on the board!" Cliff said, outraged.

"You already had a Ewing on the board! Me!" Pam responded.

"Yes by marriage! But your not a Ewing. And how do I know Christopher won't turn on the company? He's still got a percentage in Ewing Enterprises and is eternally loyal to Bobby and the rest of the Ewing's!" Cliff explained.

"Actually uncle Cliff. Today I will be selling my 12.5% in Ewing Enterprises, that way I can focus on the oil in this company, even if my work ethic is different to yours" Christopher said. Pamela and Pam agreed.

"We'll it's settled then, welcome to Barnes Oil" Pamela said, welcoming Christopher.

A few hours after Christopher's meeting at Barnes Oil, he then arranged one at Ewing Enterprises with fellow board members, Bobby, John Ross, Sue Ellen, J.R. And Amanda who currently holds his other 12.5% percent. "I met your little girlfriend today" Amanda said, aiming her comment at Christopher. She quickly filled him in on the details before returning to the business at hand.

"Nice to see you back Amanda" John Ross said, smirking.

"Piss off John Ross! I'm the only reason you wanted Christopher to step down from the board!" Amanda stated.

Sue Ellen glared in shock at the outrage of Amanda's comment. "May I remind you Amanda that you were the one that put your husband in a sanitarium!" Sue Ellen said.

"As did your husband!" Amanda snapped back.

J.R's ears pricked up a the mention of his name. "Now hang on little lady, don't you drag me into this!" J.R said.

"Enough! Can we focus on the matter at hand, Christopher, what are you planning on doing with your percentage in Ewing Enterprises?" Bobby asked.

"You'll find out in a moment. Jill, can you come here a second" Christopher said. Chris's assistant, Jill did as instructed and entered the boardroom.

"What would you like Mr. Ewing?" She asked.
"I'd like you to send in my guest please" Chris responded.

Everyone waited in suspense when Christopher's replacement on the Ewing Enterprises board piled in from Chris's office. The guest was...

Gary Ewing.

"You've got to be pulling my chain!" J.R growled when he saw his younger brother Gary enter the boardroom. "Hello uncle Gary" Christopher said as he saved a seat for his uncle.
"Good morning everyone, Sue Ellen, Bobby...J.R" Gary said.

"Christopher Ewing! Why would you sell your shares to this washed up old crumb?!" J.R asked.

Christopher smirked. "Because uncle J.R you didn't really think I'd just up and sell my shares to you and John Ross did you? You clearly don't know me that well. Never mind, nice knowing you all, Amanda, Dad I'll see you at home" Christopher said smirking as he left Ewing Enterprises

Pamela Barnes and her fiancé John Ross headed to Southfork where they confronted, John Ross's uncle, Bobby Ewing in his office. "Your nephew and Miss Barnes are here to see you Mr. Ewing" Teresa said, ushering John Ross and Pamela into Bobby's office.

"Good afternoon, Pamela. John Ross" Bobby said Pamela's name with emotion and heart yet when it got to John Ross's name his voice got colder.

"Mr. Ewing, John Ross and I are engaged, he proposed two nights ago, we were wondering whether we could have our engagement party here?" Pamela asked. Bobby expressed his congratulations and told John Ross that he hopes it would help him mature.

So everything was settled, Pamela and John Ross would have their engagement party.
