chapter 9
The road to Cameron city was a long one...about 2 weeks of bike riding...it took this long because of the training and gym leader challenges.
When the group reached a town that was right before cameron...they stopped and went to the lab to see the towns professor.
"yes? What can i do for you kids?" the professor asked when the group arrived at the lab.
"Well we were wondering if you had any pokemon eggs...our father said to get an egg somewhere down the road...could you help us?" Artimis asked...a fuzzy yellow mouse was perched on her shoulder...she had her own pikachu!
"Oh well...you must be Professor Oakly's kid...wait don't you have a brother?" the professor asked.
Silver was too busy to talk...he was playing with a black and blue kitten...his shinx...he didn't really catch it...the shinx was in the forest when they took a break...and when they left..it decided to follow them...it stuck with Silver.
"Oh sorry...yes...my name's Silver." Silver finally stood up.
"Welcome...let's see...i do believe i still have some eggs...follow me." the professor walked into the egg room and silver and artimis got their eggs.
Siler got a white and green egg...artimis got a white egg with red and blue shapes on it.
"Do you know what pokemon are in them?" Tozumi asked.
"Well silver has the pokemon shaymin...and artimis has a togepi." the professor said.
"A shaymin? isn't that a rare pokemon?" Brock asked.
"Yes but we found a way to breed them...if you don't mind me asking...where are you kids off to?" The professor asked.
"We're on the way to cameron city...for the pokemon championship." Tozumi said holding her riolu.
"I'm trying to evolve my riolu...and i think the tournament will help it gain some experience." Tozumi added.
"Same here but i'm trying to evolve my smoochum." razumi said.
"Hmmmm...the pokemon you are trying to evolve will only evolve...with happiness...the tournament may not help you." the professor stated.
"well...even if they don't evolve at cameron...that's fine..." Razumi said calmly.
"well...why don't you all stay for lunch before heading out?" the professor suggested.
The group decided to stay...they all ate lots of pizza!
"Bye!"
"Thanks for the food!"
"Goodbye professor Birch!"
"Thanks for the eggs!"
After lunch they headed out toward cameron...but they didn't get there without stopping...the pizza didn't sit well with their stomachs
