"15…16…17"

8 more seconds, 8 more seconds, Al thought looking back to where he had run away from James.

"Ready or not here I come!"

He heard his voice downstairs and thanked Merlin that he would look down there first, giving him more time to hide. His dad's study was open, he knew he wasn't exactly allowed in there but he wouldn't be touching anything he would just hide, James wouldn't even think of looking in there. Making one last decision he ran into the room, going behind his dad's desk and curling up into a little ball.

He heard James' footsteps coming up the stairs a few more following.

"That wasn't fair James, I wasn't ready, I had just gone to get a cookie", Hugo complained, his voice getting softer signaling they were walking into another room.

Al let out a breath and smiled satisfied. A box caught his eye, it was half open, which to Al's logic meant it wasn't that important. Papers were falling out, they looked like cut out pieces of newspapers and magazines. Not able to resist the urge of finding out what it was he crawled over to it opening the box completely and looking inside.

"Ha! Found you Al!", James exclaimed, scrunching up his eyebrows when Al didn't listen to him. He walked over and peered down at what his bother was looking at, Rose, Lily and Hugo behind him.

"What's that?", Hugo asked, kneeling down next to his cousin.

"We shouldn't be here, you know Uncle Harry doesn't like us being in his study", Rose said worriedly, huffing when the other four ignored her.

James took out a piece of newspaper.

"Boy who lived has chosen the one, by Rita Skeeter, Boy who lived had chosen the one, recently spotted in the big party thrown for Miss Weasley's older brother, she was spotted wearing a diamond ring and looking extremely attached to Mr. Potter. They are very happy and hope to start a new chapter in their life a close friend tells us when asked about the couples future. There's a picture of mum and dad here!", James had read the piece of paper as the others listened intently.

"It's obviously of when they got engaged, I mean out parents are famous, it's only logical that people wanted to know more about their personal life", Rose said, sounding much like her mum.

The others nodded, thinking about that. Hugo reached into the box and took out a magazine with his dad on the cover.

"Ugh! It's dad!", he exclaimed.

Al took it form his hands.

"Top ten hottest in the Wizarding World, ugh!", he read, scrunching up his nose.

"What other articles are there in there?", Lily asked.

"Er…The chosen one new head of Auror department, Hogwarts finally finished reconstruction, Hermione Granger almost a Weasley", he read, then opened it to look at the pictures inside.

Rose gasped audibly making everyone turn to her.

"Look! Wanted Hermione Granger, Hermione Granger associated with undesirable number one, known muggle born, if you have any information concerning this person please contact the ministry of magic or the muggle born registration commission immediately! And there's a reward!", she exclaimed disgustedly. The others shook their heads and turned to Lily who started readings a tiny piece.

"Remus John Lupin,"

"Teddy's dad!", James exclaimed.

Al shushed him and signaled Lily to continue reading.

"Remus John Lupin, 38, was killed May 2, 1998, during the Battle of Hogwarts by known Death Eater Antonio Dolohov, Lupin, a member of the order of Phoenix was formerly teacher of Defense of the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. He left his position because of his status as werewolf. He married Nymphadora Tonks in 1998. He is survived by his one moth old son Ted Remus Lupin", she finished.

"Merlin! Teddy was mentioned in the daily proper when he was one month old!", Albus said excitedly.

"Don't be too surprised apparently Rose was mentioned when she wasn't even born yet listen to this…Weasley Granger expecting, married just over a year ago Ronald Weasley and Hermione Weasley née Granger were seen shopping at Baby Magic, a shop for baby products. The couple looked happy and excited as they looked through the shop. When interviewed Mrs. Hermione Weasley stated, let's just say there might be one more Weasley in the family", James read.

"How do you know it wasn't about Hugo?", asked Lily.

"The year on this is 2005", he responded.

The kids continued to look through the box, reading the ones they found interesting.

They knew their parents were famous, they knew of all the stuff they had done when they were younger and heard stories of the war but they never imagined just how famous they really were, they never imagined that after the war was over kids would see them and ask for their autograph.

"I see you found the clippings", a vice behind them made them jump startled.

"What's going on here, I thought I told you to not come into my study", the looked at the five children who were all looking down at their toes in guilt, he wasn't talking harshly but the kids knew how to tell when their uncle or dad was disappointed.

"Come on", he said, taking the box and signaling the kids to follow him. They did all the way to the kitchen with their heads bowed.

"What's that?", Ginny asked looking from the children, to Harry, and then back to the box.

He put it down on the table and pushed it to his two best friends and his wife, nodding at them to open it up.

"Wow mate you kept all these?", Ron grinned holding a clipping from his engagement to Hermione.

"Apparently those aren't the only ones he saved", Hermione held up the full newspaper page titled 'The Boy Who Lies'.

"It was in my study", Harry said.

"Rose, Hugo, you went into your Uncle's study when he told you you weren't allowed in there?", Hermione looked sternly but with a calm voice at her children.

"No Aunt Hermione, it was…"

"Me!", James interrupted Al, who looked shocked at his older brother.

"I got curious about what was in there so I snuck in and saw the shiny, gold box that any other kid would be dyeing to open", he said looking determinedly at the four adults.

"You guys are not in trouble, no matter who it was", Harry said, glancing quickly at Al, who looked sheepish.

"It was only a matter of time before you lot found out anyway", Ron said, making the other three nod.

"What?", Lily asked.

"Well about our lives, we were trying to keep all you away from all the press and the fame, so you could grow normally like any other child, now that James is about to go to Hogwarts he's going to truly see how much the world cares to know about all the war heroes, and we didn't want you to find out from your friends or other students", Hermione explained.

The kids nodded, understanding why their parents didn't tell them.

Ginny ushered everyone into the living room, taking the box with her.

The took a seat on the floor all together.

One by one they took out all the magazines, allowing their parents to explain them.

"Ginny Weasley scores tie breaking points for Britain in the quidditch work final! Wow mum! That's wicked!", James exclaimed, making Ginny smile at him and wink.

"Didn't think your mum was capable did you Jamie?", she asked, winking.

"No actually", he smirked, making his mum laugh.

"Mum! Is this you?", Hugo took out a magazine.

"Merlin, I'd forgotten about that one!", she groaned making everyone laugh.

Ron took it from her hand and smiled.

"I remember this! Quite a funny story really", Hermione shot him a playful glare.

"You see children, after the war many witch magazines were trying to make Hermione their model, saying, 'who wouldn't buy a magazine with the golden girl on the cover!'

Hermione kept on telling them no, and no, and no, until she got tired of it and about a year or two after the war she went and they made her sign a magical contract, for about two weeks she had to go to keep on taking pictures, and that wasn't it, because this magazine is a muggle edition. When the muggles saw this by accident they contacted the wizard magazine that had recruited Hermione and made a deal with them that for who knows how much money they'd let her model for the muggles, and because of the contract she had to", Ron said laughing.

"It's not funny Ronald! They practically sold me! You know they wanted me to model other things which I obviously said no to, knowing you wouldn't be to happy about it", she exclaimed.

The kids laughed, Harry and Ginny along with them. Ron's eyes widened and he got a smirk on his face, he leaned over to his wife and whispered something in her ear, making her blush a deep crimson and swat him away.

"Anyway, what about this one!", she held up the magazine Ron on the cover.

"That was nothing!", he defended.

The kids, Harry and Ginny looked back and forth from the couple, eager to hear the story of that magazine.

"Ronald and Harry here were voted among some of the Hottest Guys in the wizarding world", Hermione smirked as he shot her the same glare.

"Who were the other nine?", Lily asked.

Hermione flipped through the magazine until she found the right page, her eyes widening.

"Number one, The Snake Slayer, Neville Longbottom. Longbottom led the student rebellion, the DA, during his seventh year against death eaters, making him grow out of his awkward stage. He is son of two famous aurors, Alice and Frank Longbottom and husband to landlady of the Leakey, Hannah Longbottom née Abbott. He is currently Herbology Professor at Hogwarts but of course we hope he drops that and becomes teacher for the subject how to become a hottie."

"I remember Neville got so embarrassed because of that", Ginny said laughing as the picture of Neville with a muggle polo shirt as he smiled lopsidedly at the camera was passed around.

"Number two", Hermione said flipping the page, "The Keeper, Oliver Wood. Famous Quidditch star Oliver Wood is a keeper in more ways than one. He plays for Puddlemere United. He is one of many that returned to Hogwarts for the final battle, he got out only with few injuries. His wife Katie Bell, played with him in the Gryffindor Quidditch team and together they have a small son, Ethan Wood, who he always takes to quidditch matches, and are expecting a girl. We bet that with his genes in their blood both are going to make the top list of heartthrobs at Hogwarts", there was a picture of him in his quidditch uniform, his broom under his arm.

"Four is ugh! McLaggen", she glared at the magazine and turned the page quite forcibly.

"Aha! Five! The King That Had It All, Ronald Weasley. As part of the golden trio, Weasley helped with the downfall of Voldemort, he has five older brothers and a younger sister. He is currently in the Auror department and about to wed golden girl Hermione Granger. And lucky she is because he is definitely a keeper", she showed them all the picture that took up the whole page,he was leaning against a wall facing in front of him while the picture was taken from the side, he was wearing muggle tuxedo and had his hair in a messy sides wept way.

She flipped the page

"And Six! The Chosen One, Harry Potter. People voted and we just couldn't leave the boy who lived off the list. Harry Potter, currently married to Quidditch Star Ginny Weasley is about to become the youngest head of the Auror department. He defeated Voldemort plenty of times and killed him off during the battle if Hogwarts. Potter, who is also part of the Order of the Pheonix, started his own organization, Dumbledore's army. With those glasses and that scar who wouldn't think of him as a hottie"

"I have to admit Harry, your scar is really attractive", Ron teased.

"Shut up", Harry laughed.

They kept on looking through the clippings and newspapers, through the good and the bad until there were no more in the box.

"So you guys are really very famous?", Al asked.

"People would stand in line to get our autographs, it was a bit uncomfortable really", Ron said.

"Do you think that at Hogwarts people will ask us for you and about you?", James asked.

"Most likely, but all you have to do is be you, don't try to be us, none of you, make your selves memorable in you own way, promise?", Harry asked looking at the five kids in front of them.

They all looked at eachother and smiled, making a silent agreement.

"Promise", they said in unison, identical grins on all their faces.
