AN: Hey everyone sorry for the wait on this chapter but I have a good reason for it coming out so much later than a planned well two reasons I guess reason number one a lot of you stepped up and voted which meant almost every day I was getting one or two more votes for different characters and reason number two and the most important reason which some of you know if you PM'd me is that I was in the hospital for the last few days with a dislocated shoulder and cracked ribs since some asshole nailed me in a Wal-mart parking lot which in hindsight I probably shouldn't have been wearing all black at 11 at night but I mean sue me it's my favorite color anyway heres chapter 10 sorry if some parts seemed rushed or disheveled these pain meds are the truth.

Chapter 10

"That was priceless" Derpy laughed as she and Deidrick headed towards the movie theater. She'd finally been able get some pay back and it felt great she really owed Deidrick for jumping in when he did if he hadn't…

"Hey Deidrick" Derpy stopped walking as they passed the arcade on the other side of the movie theater.

"What is it" Deidrick asked.

"Thanks for that if you hadn't been there I...I…." Derpy started shaking as tears rolled down her cheeks. She realized if Deidrick hadn't been there she would've just had to relive her childhood nightmare and that scared her beyond belief. Derpy started laughing she'd never gotten to see Deidrick out of his comfort zone before and she had no idea it was be this funny. "Some ladies man you are…you don't even know how to comfort a crying girl" Derpy said poking his nose.

"I got you to stop didn't I" Deidrick snapped at her finger.

"I guess you did" Derpy said with a bemused expression. "Anyway as I was saying before thanks for being there for me I don't even want to think about what would have happened if you weren't here"

"Don't worry about it but to be honest I kinda wish those dumb broads did have dates" Deidrick sighed.

"Why" Derpy asked curiously.

"Because then it would've given me someone to punch in the face" Deidrick grinned.

"But you wouldn't have been able to blame the guys for their girls actions anyway" Derpy pointed out.

"Haven't you ever heard of guilty by association" Deidrick smirked.

"Okay mister criminal what did I tell you about being good" Derpy laughed.

"What did I tell you about how hard your outfit was going to make that for me" Deidrick said looking her up and down for the millionth time.

"Oh stop seriously" Derpy snapped suddenly.

"What" Deidrick asked confused.

"You're just teasing me, I know you're a flirt and a tease and I get it…it's fun to mess with me. "Can you just take me home" Derpy said in a low voice.

"No" He said coldly.

"I can't believe I lost to you in every game in the arcade" Deidrick frowned his pride had took a devastating blow. Previously Spike had been the only one who had ever beat him in any type of gaming and even than they were usually close Derpy on the other hand had utterly crushed him. The only thing he'd won at was the damn claw machine which couldn't even be called a win since Derpy won a much bigger prize than he had.

"Haha cheer up I always went to the arcade and local fairs with my mom since I was little" Derpy smiled. Deidrick just groaned in defeat "Come on lets hit the photo booth before we go to the movies" Derpy said grabbing his arm.

"At least I can't lose with that" Deidrick sighed as She dragged him into a rather large photo booth and closed the curtains. "Do you want me to make you a copy" Derpy asked as she grabbed the finished picture clip.

"Nah let's go through one more time" Deidrick said as an idea formed in his head. "Your welcome, now can we please to see a movie…since I've already beaten you in every game here" Derpy smirked.

Deidrick chuckled and grabbed her hand as they walked across to the movie theater. Even with all the time they wasted it was barely 5:00pm which meant that barely anyone was in the theater as it usually started getting packed around 7:30. "So did you want to see anything in particular" Deidrick asked.

"Hmmm I don't know let me check to see what's playing" Derpy went to look at a display of all the movies and posted times. There were only a few movies worth watching which limited her selection and she didn't want to watch anything that seemed boring or overly dramatic after a few minutes of deciding she decided on a mild horror film. She wasn't a huge fan of horror or really a fan of it at all but she wasn't planning on watching much of the movie anyway. After all Deidrick had started a very dangerous game and she planned on getting some pay back in the worse possible way. "Hey Deidrick let's watch this one" Derpy said pointing to the poster of the movie she'd decided on.

"Hmm high school massacre 6…I didn't know you were into horror" Deidrick raised a questioning eyebrow.

"I heard it was pretty mild besides the rest of the movies playing are pretty much trash" Derpy shrugged.

"Alright sounds good to me then I'll grab the tickets then and meet you inside" Deidrick said walking over to the ticket counter.

"Deidrick let's sit in the back" Derpy said leading him up the stairs to the back and all the way down the row to the corner. Deidrick didn't seem to think anything of it so she was sure he would be surprised when she started putting her plan into motion. They sat down and watched the usually 15 minutes of trailer for upcoming movies they picked out of few that looked interesting and planned to go see when they came out. Once the movie started Derpy snuggled up next to him thankful for the fact that this theater used rows of two to three person leather couches instead of the standard movie chairs.
