Dimitri's point of view
I very much disliked taking planes just because it caused my Roza pain. All the ghost bothering her not letting her at easy. Lissa had to compel her to fall asleep. We landed in Alaska soon after an hour. Lissa wanted me to carry Roza because she wanted her to rest. So Eddie was in charge for now. The car was right sir ready for us and we quickly descended to our destination. Roza the entire time slept the entire time in the car ride.
" Dimitri as soon as we enter the wards wake up her up" Lissa said as she looked at sleepy Roza.
I never been to Alaska before in my entire life of guarding. As soon as we enter the wards I started to shake my Roza awake. She kept moving as to she didn't want to wake up. I close to her ear and whispered to her.
" my love wake up" I whispered to her.
She took a while but she woke up. She looked around her surroundings as she didn't know where she was. She rubbed her eyes as she looked at me and punched my arm.
" Comrade you let me sleep that long? How embarrassing to the other guys seeing me sleep on the job" Roza said.
" Queen's orders. Plus the ghost should be gone" I said to her as I made a point.
" Lissa" Roza yelled.
Roza turned on her earpiece as we got out the car. This young Moroi came to us and bowed at Lissa.
" Welcome my Queen. If you have any questions don't hesitate to condo is ready for you" the Moroi said.
" thank you so much. May I know your name sweetie"Lissa asked her kindly.
" Rosemary my Queen" Rosemary said.
" that's a beautiful name. My head guardians name is Rosemary, I'll let you in a secret" Lissa said as Rosemary was leading us to the condo.
" what is it?" Rosemary asked.
" as my time here when your around me and my guardians call me Lissa. Don't call me Queen, I'm still kind of getting use to it" Lissa said with a smile.
" Sure will".
We finally reached our destination and once again I was amazed at the beauty. Rosemary opened the door and let Lissa walked in first.
" This condo has over ten rooms. Depending on the family. The Dragomir wing is one the second floor" Rosemary said as she had the keys in her hand.
" who's the head guard?" Rosemary asked looking at the rest of the guard.
" I am" Roza said as she walked up to Rosemary.
Rosemary handed her the keys and I planner. Im guessing it's the map of the house.
" you can set up the rest of the guard" Rosemary said to my Roza.
Roza nodded and after Rosemary bowed she quickly left.
" Listen up guys. Lopez and Alvarez will have the first watch with Lissa you'll have the first two rooms on the bottom level. People will come and help Lissa get ready Viktoria will be inside and Eddie will be outside on guard. Eddie you get the room closes the the stairs in the second level. Nikolai, Anthony and me will escort her to the event as close guard and the rest far. Got it?" Roza commanded everyone.
" yes" they all said as they left to their rooms.
" Nikolai, Viktoria" Roza said.
" you guys have the choice do you want to share a room or a signal one?" Roza asked.
Viktoria and Nikolai looked at each other. Then they turned to me.
" your the boss. Were okay with anything you choose" Nikolai said.
" choose because if you guys decide alone I'll have to sleep with Viktoria and you with Comrade" Roza said as she made a face " pick a room together".
" Together" Viktoria said.
" good. You guys have the room at the end of the hall. Have the earpiece ready" Roza told them as they walked away to their room.
" well I'm going to go change. What time is the event?" Lissa asked.
" 7pm, it's actually a birthday party" I told her.
" yea yeah" Lissa said as she took Christians hand and went upstairs.
Roza took my hand lead me to our room which was in the second floor. Our room was the same as the rooms back in the palace. Roza unpacked the dresses and laid then on the bed.
" Viktoria please come to the second floor" Roza said threw the earpiece.
" on my way" I heard my sister respond.
Roza opened the door so Viktoria would know which room. She didn't have any problem finding the room. Roza showed her the dress that she would have to wear since they both would be close to Lissa during the event.
" if in God forbid there is a Strigoi attack you pull this thing right here and the dress shortens" Roza explained to Viktoria.
" where would I keep my stake in this dress" Viktoria said as she scanned the dress.
" there's a strap inside the dress" Roza explained.
" go get ready" Roza told Viktoria.
( skipping to the actual event)
I looked myself in the mirror as I fixed my hair into a low ponytail. I was dressed in a full black tux, as to the other guardians. I checked myself making sure I had my Ozera stake and my gun. I knew this was an event but I had to make sure. I didn't have a good feeling about this event. Why would they make this event out of no where without no heads up. I train of thoughts was cut short when my Roza walked in. She looked beautiful in a long black dress. Her hair was curly and just beautiful as always. When she noticed looking at me she gave me that beautiful smile of hers.
" You look beautiful" I told her as I wrapped my arms around her.
" thanks same to you Comrade" Roza said.
We all lined up with the rest of the guard as we escorted Christian and Lissa to this so called event. We where all in high alert as we have always been. As we entered the room we were greeted once again by Rosemary.
" Lissa you look beautiful" Rosemary said as she admired Lissa dress.
Lissa was dressed in an elegant blue long dress. She had a white crown over her head with her hair curl just like Roza. Roza order had the guys to walk into the room and do a quick round before Lissa walks in. Lissa made a grand entry and everyone bowed down like they usually do. This party was like the rest of any royal party boring. Us guardians stood close to the walls on guard like always. Viktoria and Roza stood close to Lissa and Christian the entire time and I stood close to the rest of the royal guard.
" Eddie come and switch with me now. Something isn't right" I heard my Roza say threw our head piece that connected the entire royal guard.
Eddie walked up to them and my Roza quickly excused herself as Eddie took her spot.
" her Shadow kissed abilities are acting up" I heard my sister say threw the ear piece.
I quickly followed my Roza and I found her close to the ladies bathroom with her head on the wall. I got even close to her and I notice her heavy breathing.
" Roza" I said as I tried to move her so I could look at her in the eyes.
I saw those beautiful brown eyes that I love so dear much and I notice they kept changing to yellowish shadow kiss eyes and back and forth.
" I don't know what's wrong. This never happened before. I tried to use the same strategy I use when I go crazy on darkness but it isn't working. I can't protect Lissa like this. " My Roza said as she looked at me with a worried face.
" my love Lissa is fine. She has six guardians plus a room full of more guardians. Your the important one now." I told her as I tried to calm her down.
Roza ignored my words and she was staring at a corner of the room and her eyes where yellowish which only meant she was talking to a ghost.
I was push with great force that I was knocked away from my Roza. I looked at my attacker with my stake in my hands. When I saw her face I quickly felt like I turned as white as a Moroi as I saw Tasha Ozera in front of me. She wasn't the Tasha I knew she was a Strigoi.
That's when all the screaming started and my mind only went on a mission.
To protect my Roza.
