-throws this down and runs-

I had woken up from my little power nap only a few hours later, because apparently sleep was viewed as unimportant by my high-strung brain. I sighed and lay in bed for a while before I decided to get some work done. I got up and made a slow trek to my computer desk and turned my desktop on, spinning idly in my chair to wait for it to load. Despite my hatred of research papers, I opened up word and got to work on that damn essay that I had due in less than 8 hours. I filled it mostly with bullshit facts and meaningless description, and was officially bored out of my goddamn mind by the third paragraph.

Switching to Chrome, I logged onto Facebook. Of course, nobody was awake to chat with, but I had other intentions in mind. I searched none other than "Eridan Ampora", and sure enough, I found his profile within seconds. I spent a little time looking through his statuses and numerous pictures, varying between himself, his art, and pictures that he had taken. I had to admit that he was quite the photographer. But despite the pictures of sunsets and moonlit beaches, I always found myself staring at the pictures of his face. Hell, that jerk could be a model with looks like that. A strong jawline, perfect hair, deep, ocean blue eyes that had just a hint of violet around his pupil, and a light dusting of freckles. He was almost perfect.

Fuck, I was a creep.

I shook my head before opening a new window, going to the University's website. I had hacked it long ago, and it wasn't hard to discover the new administrator password to land myself in the network. I did a quick search and immediately found Eridan's records. He had straight A's, though a few absences here and there. I then clicked another page to look at his schedule. Marine Biology, American Literature, Physics, Photography… It didn't take long for me to commit the words on the page to memory and close the existing tab.

Creep Level Achieved: Complete and Utter Stalker.

But despite my sneaking and prodding, I only had good intentions.

I didn't go asleep again that night, and was awake all through the early morning. I went to work at my usual time, enjoyed my usual, witty banter with John, endured the usual bitchy customers, so on and so forth. I hadn't seen a sign of Eridan, but that was because he had a big test in Lit today – of course, I had learned that through further poking and prodding.

At the very end of my shift, I let one of the newbies take over the register as I whipped up a vanilla bean Frappuccino, threw a few crumpled dollars and miscellaneous coins onto the counter, and left the shop. I hopped into my car, set the drink in the cup holder, and made my way down to the University.
