"What, she is staying in our home?" Kol yelled in his phone. He called bekah as soon as katherine left him and elena so dumbfounded.
"Yeah! I know! That's ridiculous" Bekah said so irritably.
"That's absolutely ridiculous. How did nik approved to it?" Kol shocked.
"I don't know what's happening in his cruel mind?" Bekah complained. She heard kol scoff on the other side.
Suddenly something hit her mind and her face glowed like anything. "Come home, kol. I don't want to deal with her alone"
"What ? After what nik did to me? I can't make him more angry than he already is"
Kol's reply disappointed bekah. "Plz kol, this is your little sister asking. Ah... Well, if you come home as i wished, i will help you in elena's matter" Bekah said it with a little hope totally making kol out of options.
"Hold on! Using elena as a bait on me? Bad move sister!" Kol used his angry voice on his sister.
"Come on, kol. I know, you are considering my offer "
"Hey, I dont need any help in elena's matter. I can get her within a blink" Kol protested sounding like a child.
"Ofcourse. But it only takes a million years for you to get her considering elena is not just some random girl" she sneered at him. "So, get your ass here right away" Bekah said hanging on him leaving him with no options. Kol relunctantly took his phone away from his ear and kept in his pocket.
"Bloody sister" He said in frustration and then smiled. "Cute one too"
Klaus gave a gentle knock on elijah's room door. Elijah opened the door in an instant. They both stared at each other for a minute.
"Are you gonna make me stand here all day? or are you gonna let me in?" Klaus asked him in a funny way hiding his frustration.
"Oh sorry! Come on in" Elijah stepped aside giving a way to klaus.
"I am so shocked that you forgot the manners" Klaus allowed himself into the room and settled in an arm chair.
"Not at all. I am just so happy to see you after a long time" Elijah said casually pouting bourbon in two glasses.
Klaus narrowed his eyes and gave a nasty look at him. "Here says the person who walked away when i needed him beside me before"
Elijah gave him a glass and sat on another arm chair. "Please, do not bring that up. I just missed my family and kind of wishing to spend some quality time"
Klaus just stared at elijah for few minutes without speaking anything. "Then why did you bring kathering along with you? You know that i loathe her?"
"Lets just not talk about her" Elijah said showing no expression on his face while sipping his bourborn.
"If you want to spend a quality time with your family, then you need to speak up" Klaus said with a little frustrated voice.
Elijah stared at him for a moment before speaking. "I still dont understand why you hate her. You got what you want, you became hybrid. I see no point in hating her"
Klaus got angry with elijah's answer. "Are you kidding me? You forgot everything she did to me? And she even betrayed you?"
"Dont bring that up, klaus. Everyone does the same thing if they are in her shoes. Even you do the same thing"
"What?! Y-You s-seriously mean that?" Klaus stuttered. Is elijah kidding him? Why is he defending her so much this time? He definitely knows, elijah loves katherine more than anyone. Ofcourse, elijah is the only reason he is letting katherine live. Is this the time he has to accept her as a family? Klaus felt disgusted with his thoughts. So, he left abruptly leaving elijah with a question mark face.
Kol rang the door bell and waited for elena to open it up. After talking to bekah, he thought of going back to mansion. But instead of going to mansion, he found himself going to elena's home. He just wanted to see her face once, before everything. He feel like talking to her everything, even silly things. Kol got disturbed in his thoughts by the cracking sound when someone opened the door. Elena.
A wide smile came in to existence out of no where. "Hi elena" He beamed.
"Hey kol" She smiled. "I am just thinking about you"
"Really?! Romantic!" Kol whispered enough for elena to hear while making his way into the house.
Elena's eyes widened. "No, that just normal" She don't know what else to say. So, she quietly looked at kol in embarrassment. But kol put her out of misery by dropping the subject with only smile. His smile even grew wider when he noticed a relaxed breath come out of her mouth.
"You alright?" Kol asked refering to the earlier incident happened with katherine.
Elena understood what he was asking. So, she replied quickly,"Yeah, i am fine. I get used to her. She don't bother me anymore"
"Good" Kol mumbled and stayed silent not knowing what to talk next. Even, elena is in same position. She cursed herself, cause she is the chatty one after caroline. But now, she is sitting here silently feeling the temperature rising around her.
Both are looking at others sneakily and smiling often whenever their eyes met. She left goosebumps when kol looks straight into her eyes. She noticed kol uncomfortably moving on his seat. So, she decided to do the talking.
"Feel like eating anything?" She asked him. When he looked at her, she quickly faced her eyes to the floor. Kol smirked. This is getting awkward.
"Yeah, sounds like a great idea" He gave an approved look. Elena quickly got up and almost sprinted to the kitchen. Though she can still see him, atleast there is some distance between them. So, it relaxed her a bit.
She started arranging things which she needed to make food. In between she checks kol once in a while. First few minutes, he took a magazine and flipped all the pages before throwing it back. Later, he started playing video games and completely lost in it. Elena is making food watching kol with a smile on her face.
She felt kind of weird, thinking that few months back kol is in her enemy list right after klaus taking 2nd position. But now, here she is preparing food for him. And needless to say, she is quiet enjoying doing that.
"Do you need any help, darling?" Kol whispered in her ear. She can feel his lips so close almost tickling her ear. She didn't even noticed kol coming as she was so lost in his thoughts. Kol is standing behind elena maintaining his distance though he leaned a little to reach her ear. Elena released a nervous breath not noticing that she held her breath the entire time. She felt a chuckle near her ear. Kol is really enjoying this, how he is making her nervous when he is invading her personal space. He have to do this more often.
She felt goosebumps coming all over again, this time with more intensity. So, she quickly parted away from kol. Kol smirked when he noticed she is looking everywhere but him.
"I asked you a question, darling?" He don't want to make her more uncomfortable. So, he decided to have a normal chat.
"N-No. Its almost over" She almost whispered causing kol to ask her once more.
The dinner went so quiet and a little romantic if i need to be precise. They exchanged a fond stares and blushed often. She flushed even more when kol's hand touched her's while he is serving. And even flushed when kol compliments her food everytime he takes into his mouth. Once the dinner is over, he decided to head home.
"So, you are still my date? No, second thoughts right?" He asked her while stepping out of her house.
Elena got a bit angry by his stupid question. But she didn't show that on her face rather she showed it in her words. "No, Do you have any second thoughts?"
"Why would i have second thoughts when i have the best?" He said it quickly not because to impress her. But because he mean it. He noticed her eyes lit up when she heard his words. Good. She is liking it, she is enjoying it.
He stood there watching her expressions with a cute smile on his, until something strike him. He stopped smiling and started leaning closer to her. It didn't take a second for elena to know what's happening. Oh my god! He is going to kiss me. Is he going to kiss me? Well, I don't know if i am ready for this. Shit! Wine is the last thing she took in the dinner. So, she is going to taste like wine. Shit! Shit! Wine is the least thing she wanted to be taste like when she is having her first kiss with kol. She don't even know when she closed her eyes and her lips are shaking a little. She felt so embarrassed and divine as well, when she felt kol's lips on her cheek. He is teasing her. She can feel his lips chuckle on her cheek. He parted his lips and gave a quick goodbye to her and took off to mansion.
"Where have you been?" Bekah asked kol eventhough she knew the answer.
"You know where" Kol said to her almost reading her mind. He is sitting with her on their couch waiting for elijah and klaus to join them.
"Why do we need to have a family meeting?" Kol asked her again. This is his 6th time asking.
"I don't know, elijah has something to say to us" Bekah answered absent mindedly watching her cell phone. Kol scoffed and waited for his brothers to arrive.
"Hello kol" Kol stood up when he see's his two brothers. Kol knew that elijah is going to give him a long hug as he does that quite often to him. To his much surprise, elijah gave a hand shake and sat on an arm chair. Weird.
Everyone sat there silently. Bekah is so lost with her phone. Klaus is so distracted. Kol bet that klaus don't want to be here just like him. He turned his gaze to elijah when he cleared his throat.
"As i am the head of the family now, i wish us to be like a family from now on. As mystic falls is our home land, we will stay here together"
Kol flustered. Ofcourse he is going to stay here because for elena. Bekah for matt and klaus is for caroline. So, its not a big deal for them. "Ok, what about finn? Do you want me to call finn?" Kol asked.
Elijah's expression changed for a bit, which is hard for kol to interpret it. Elijah quickly responded. "I have tried. I even went to meet him before coming to mystic falls. He said. he is so happy there with sage. He don't want to come"
"But our family is incomplete without him" Bekah complained.
"I know. I know. I did everything i can. Seems like we have to live with that. He will come around eventually" He said and abruptly stands up gaining everyone's attention.
"Where are you going, elijah?" Bekah asked with furrowed eye brows.
"I have some errands to do" Elijah spoke. With that, he is out of the mansion within a second.
Kol and klaus exchanged a look. "Its weird. Too weird seeing elijah giving up on finn like that. Let me try" With that, kol reaches for his phone and quickly dials to finn. When he confirms the other side is ringing, he enables speaker mode so everyone can hear.
Elijah came out of the mansion and when he is about to start his car, he felt a vibrating phone. He took it off from his pants pocket and sees the dialler name. kol. He smirks devilishly before rejecting the call and switching off the phone permanently.
Kol flustered when finn rejects the call. When he tries again, it says the phone is switched off. What the hell?
"Seems to me that he really don't want to talk to his family" Kol said looking at klaus and bekah.
Hmmm... How is it? Why do you think elijah have finn's phone? Is there anything to say elijah? LOL...
