"God never gives you more than you can handle. It's your choice on how you deal with what he gives you. You can either grow from it, or you can lie down and give up."

Previous Chapter. Byakka's Identity.
"I am really sure that you're Byakka, Natsume-san. We don't have proof if we're right, but there is also no proof that we're wrong. You could be lying to us, Natsume-san." Chrome said in certainty.
The others were surprised that Chrome was able to say that.
Natsume's lip lifted up to form a small smile.
"It had been a while since I have a conversation like this," Natsume said wistfully. "So, tell me, if you're really wanted to convince me. Why are you trying so hard for this girl, who you don't know anything about?"
Gokudera smirked because what she said was basically an admission. They finally found Byakka.
Chapter 10. Hopeless Case.
The 4 active guardians were in Natsume's residence confronting Natsume Shirayuri, their first and only suspect as the real identity of Byakka.
Gokudera smirked in satisfaction. "So, you finally admit it."
"I never said that," Natsume said lightly.
"Why you." Gokudera gritted his teeth.
"So, why are you trying so hard for a girl you don't know anything about?" Natsume asked again.
"We just want Tsuna to be happy," Yamamoto said with a smile. "Right, guys."
"EXTREMELY happy." Ryouhei clarified with his shouting.
Natsume adopted a faraway look. The guardians became wary with that look. Chrome could felt the dark aura was intensified.
"No. He won't be happy." She gave them a sharp look. "What is your real purpose for looking for Byakka."
The look she gave them made them nervous. The guardians were thinking about what to say to her. Until Yamamoto decided to speak up.
"Tsuna is suffering," Yamamoto said solemnly.
He said firmly while looking right at her eyes to show her that he was serious. Natsume narrowed her eyes to show him she doubted his statement.
"It's true. Although he will never show it to us, after all, if not because of a complete coincidence we will never know about you." Yamamoto continued.
The other guardians looked at Yamamoto with wide eyes and silently agreed with him. The fact that, if not because Reborn stole future Tsuna's letter they will never know, even after 10 years. It frightened them.
After all, they are Tsuna's guardians, his closest companions. It frightened them that their Boss is silently suffering and they will never know about it.
"I want Tsuna to stop suffering silently. We want to help him because we are friend, and he will do the same for us." Yamamoto looked down in sadness.
The other was surprised and stunned with what Yamamoto said.
Natsume sighed in resignation and mumbled. "And there it goes again. It wouldn't be fun arguing with you if you rub pity on me. It makes me feel bad when they look like puppies lost in the rain."
That was right. The guardians were doing a good impression of lost puppies. Fortunately, they were too distracted to hear her comment.
Natsume said tiredly. "Fine, you found me. I am Byakka." She mumbled. "Why do I even bother?"
The guardians looked up in surprise and joy. "Yes." "Finally." "EXTREME." "Just as I thought."
Natsume smiled sweetly, but let out a dark aura. "So, why are you looking for me?"
That was the prized question she really wanted to know the answer of since that was the source of this situation.
The guardians looked at each other nervously, since they did not know if they should tell her about the deal with their boss.
"Well." Natsume looked at each of them for an answer.
Gokudera gulped nervously. Inwardly he berated himself for being nervous if only he could smoke. As the unofficial leader, he decided to speak up, also since the other guardians had been eyeing him to say something.
"Um, actually... um... there was um..." Gokudera stuttered nervously.
Natsume raised her eyebrows. "Yes, Gokudera-san."
"It was an EXTREME deal!" Ryouhei blurted out.
"God damn it, Turf Top. Why did you say it?" Gokudera snarled.
"What about it, Octopus Head. You want to EXTREMELY say it too, don't you?"
"I don't!" Gokudera denied.
"You EXTREMELY do!" Ryouhei accused.
"I don't!" "You EXTREMELY do!" "I don't!" "You EXTREMELY do!" "I don't!" "You EXTREMELY do!"
That was the start of their daily argument. Yamamoto and Chrome looked at each other in confusion about what to do, while Natsume was ignoring the show and drinking her tea. Yamamoto and Chrome sweatdropped at her for ignoring the ruckus.
{K~H~R}
After a while, the argument was still in progress. So, Natsume decided to ignore them altogether and go back to the previous topic before the slight interference.
"So, what is it about a deal?" She inquired.
"Well, basically we have to find you first to convince Tsuna to change his mind." Yamamoto decided to talk since Gokudera was currently busy.
"To change his mind? About what?" Natsume asked.
Yamamoto was hesitated to say that it was so Tsuna will accept Natsume again and let her became involved in the mafia.
Natsume observed Yamamoto's hesitation and she understood.
"I understand Yamamoto-san."
Yamamoto blinked. "You do?" He doubted it very much since Natsume did not know about the mafia.
Natsume was in deep thought. "Tsuna is still the same as the last time we saw each other." She said with a longing tone.
Yamamoto and Chrome know that Natsume did not mean to say that out loud, since that was the first time they heard Natsume said their boss's first name, instead of Sawada.
"What do you mean Boss is still the same?" Chrome asked.
Natsume sighed. "Forget what I said. It doesn't matter anymore."
"But." Chrome said hesitantly.
Natsume looked at her solemnly. "I afraid this is a hopeless case. You waste your time, Dokuro-san. Nothing I say will change this. Sawada won't change his mind, even if you find me."
She looked scandalized and horrified. Gokudera and Ryouhei snapped out of their argument when they heard that.
"Juudaime wouldn't lie to us," Gokudera said firmly.
Natsume looked at Gokudera in the eyes and he in turn also looked at her in the eyes as if to challenge her for what she said.
"Sawada might not lie to you. But, I bet he never said he would change his mind." Natsume said in a challenge.
Gokudera gritted his teeth and searched for his memories of that day in the future when they made the deal.
"I will make a deal with you, Reborn. I won't accept anything else."
"All right, what's the deal?"
"I will think over my decision, for one condition,"
"What's the condition?"
"Byakka,"
"If my guardians can find her, then I will think over my decision. And no one can help them secretly or indirectly."
Gokudera closed his eyes in frustration.
Yamamoto and Ryouhei looked at him for confirmation, since they did not have a good memory.
"Gokudera? Tsuna will change his mind right?" Yamamoto asked sadly, although he already knew the answer from Gokudera's expression.
"I don't EXTREMELY understand. Sawada will never lie about a deal."
Gokudera did not give them any responses.
"No, Boss didn't lie to us." Chrome told them with tears in her eyes. "But, Boss didn't say he will change his mind either.
