Hinata was tired. She wanted to forget about everything but it seemed like everyone was living in the past and that's why for the first time in her life Hinata did something she shouldn't have. She skipped school.

She walked back home, muttering and kicking everything in her way. Why couldn't anyone understand what she was going through? When she finally reached her house she slammed the door and stormed into the kitchen

"Hinata?" her father asked as he poked his head into the kitchen. "Shouldn't you be at school?" he asked but Hinata didn't answer. "Hinata. I'm talking to you" he said in a stern voice. "Why are you here? This isn't like you. You're responsible" he said. This made Hinata blow.

"I am responsible because I had to!" she yelled as she turned around. Her father was more than surprise. "Everyone just expects me to be responsible or understanding but why do I have to be?" she yelled.

"Hinata…" her father tried to say but she just let out a scream.

"It's not fair that I have to be the understanding one. It's not fair that everything falls on me when things go back. I'm tired of being the good one. I'm tired to carry all this anger around and be force to understand the circumstance" She yelled. "It's not fair!" she screamed before she ran passed her father before he could even respond.

Her father felt ashamed. He understood where he daughter came from and although he knew he depended a lot on her, he never imagine she would blow up this way. Now she was crying and he had no idea how to fix it.

Back at school Ino and Sakura sat under the tree talking about the events that hadn't happen too long ago. They felt bad for what they had done to Hinata in the past but they had no idea it had hurt as it did. "I really don't know what to do" Sakura said softly.

"Well it wasn't your fault Sakura" Ino said softly.

"But I teased her and treated her so badly before" she whispered.

"We both know that's not what she's upset about" Ino said. "In reality this is between her and Naruto and the only one who can fix it is him" Ino explained.

The two girls stood in silence thinking about the things they did in the past and how it had affect so much their present. They thought about how every little action could define their life and the people who were around them and how so many mistakes were made that seem impossible to repair at the moment. They wonder if they could ever be forgive for the harsh words or the actions the once took but they were sure that it couldn't.

At the end of the day it came to the point of being strong enough to take the blow of the consequences and move on without looking back.

"YOU WHORE!" a loud screamed was heard from the side of the school, taking them both by surprise. No one saw it coming but it happen. A fist flash before they could react and Ino fell on the floor, groaning in pain.

Sakura gasped and looked up at the attacker. It was non other than Temari of the sand. "T-Temari!" She stuttered, scrambling to her feet and placing her between her and her best friend. "What are you doing here?"

"My boyfriend broke up with me and told me what happen!" she screamed. "This bitch couldn't take her paws away from him and how she has to pay!" she screamed again, angry and insane.

"Calm down Temari. You're angry. You don't want to do this" Sakura said, hoping to calm the blonde older girl.

"You're wrong. I do want to do this" Temari said and shoved Sakura away and launched herself towards Ino.

Sakura expect Ino to defend herself. Ino was one of the strongest girls she had ever met. She never let anyone mess with her but Ino didn't move. She closed her eyes and let Temari do what she had to do.

Temari kicked, punch and pulled Ino left and right and Ino only took it.

"Stop! Stop! You're killing her" Sakura screamed and she launched herself onto Temari to take her off her bleeding, now unconscious friend.

"She deserves to die!" Temari growled and kicked Sakura away before she continue her beating.

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP US!" Sakura screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping that someone would hear. They needed saving.

Her prayers were answered when Shikamaru's voice rang on the back. "Noooooo!" he screamed. For the first time in his life Shikamaru ran. He took Temari by her arms and shoved her towards Naruto and Kida who had gone running after him. As they held her back Shikamaru dropped to his knees and picked her best friend and love of his life between his arms.

"Ino! Ino!" he yelled out trying to shake her away but Ino didn't respond. "Somebody call 9-1-1! She's not breathing" he yelled to the back hoping someone already had.

He couldn't lose her. She was annoying and loud and dramatic but she was his Ino. He couldn't live without her around. "Please wake up! Please. I need to tell you something" he whispered, caressing her face. "God dammit!" he cried, letting his head softly fall. Their forehead softly touching.

In the back Sakura slowly got up, her arms felt numb as she pick it up across her chest. She watch the scene before he realize that Ino had been wrong this whole time. Shikamaru wanted her. He had always been there for her but she was too busy feeling guilty that she never really notice, now it was just a matter of knowing if it was too late.

All of the sudden she felt a pair of hands gently touching her arms. She was surprise when she turned around and found Sasuke standing behind her. He didn't need to talk for her to know that he was worried about her. It was the first time Sasuke ever even looked at her in the eyes since he came back.

"I'm okay Sasuke" She said softly, offering a smile. Sasuke nodded and placed his hand back to his side but didn't move away.

"Sakura, where is Hinata?" Naruto asked worriedly as he looked around to find the white eyed girl. "I thought she was with you"

"She was…" Sakura said and looked down.

"What happened?" Naruto asked.

At that moment the police and the ambulance came and between the sea of student they began doing their job. They took Temari away before she could do anymore harm and began treating Ino who still laid on Shikamaru's lap.

"She's hurt Naruto" she said. "If you really love her, like you say you do. You have to stop with the games because you're going to lose her" she explained. "We all are"

Naruto understood his friend's words. He knew what he had done and what he caused and as much as he wanted to make it all better he was afraid. Afraid that he would hurt her again and make it worst. Maybe it was time to put it all on the line and fix it. For real this time.

"Naruto!" Kiba yelled when he notice his friend running across the field. "Where are you going?"

"To find Hinata. I'll meet you guys at hospital" he said before he kept on running. Nothing was going to stop him this time.
