Searching for the Answer

Hello Everyone I apologize for not uploading and I have no reason why I shouldn't be.

As some of you may know I opened up 2 new Fanfictions, one is Rosario VampirexOc and the other is Sword Arts Online.

And for some of you that followed one of those works, you may also know that I've been flamed to a good extent.

The flames made me feel as if I should stop writing, but that was stupid. I should never stop writing.

Neither should you, so to ALL those aspiring Fanfiction writers writing their first story...

You will always have people that are negative in your life but what you need to do is pass them and SHOW them that you're

great, and if they still put you done then forget them.

But that's enough of my talking, please enjoy the reading...

It was dawn, the sun barely over the horizon. Natsu, accompanied by his friends Lucy Erza, Gray, Wendy, and Happy, stood on a path that led away from Magnolia.

"Are y'all ready for today's mission?" Natsu said as he stood straight up with hands on his waist.

"I am" said Gray

"Aye Sir!" cheered Happy

"I am always prepared" replied Erza

"I'm ready" Wendy said with her hand up in participation

"Let's go" Lucy said anxiously

"I'm ready to see you Edward…." Lucy thought as she clenched her fist.

"Then why are we standing here? Let's go!" Natsu said as he and Happy led the path ahead.

As they walked on, the day grew bright and sunny. They passed by canyons and forests, they rested here and there, and they talked among themselves until they arrived at a village to resupply and gather themselves.

"Geez, I'm beat…We spent all day walking and I didn't even eat yet…" Natsu said sourly with his head down.

"I didn't get to eat my fish I caught either…" said Happy as he walked besides Natsu in the same fashion.

"Quit your complaining we're all tired here…" said Grey as he came up from behind Natsu.

"You need shut it, ice-for-brains…" Natsu snapped back.

"Woman! We need to rest, Wendy is absolutely exhausted!" Carla complained to Erza.

"You have a point, it would do us better if we rested." Erza said as she dropped her things in front of the village.

"We shall set camp here." Erza stated.

"Lucy, you and Happy go gather fire wood. Grey and Wendy, you'll go to camp to see if you could get food and water. Natsu you'll stay here and watch the things." Erza commanded

"Wait, hold it! Why does hot head get to rest?!" argued Grey

Erza turned to Grey and gave him a scary look," Do you wanna complain about something, because I'll be happy to hear your demands."

A chill shivered down Grey's back," No I'm good."

Lucy, knowing why Erza let Natsu rest pushed Grey along and said," Hey we should hurry before night comes."

Natsu walked over to a stump and sat on it," To hungry to think…need food…" his stomach growled.

As Wendy and Grey walked into the village they conversed," Hey Wendy, doesn't it seem like Erza and Natsu have been spending a lot more time together?"

"Maybe they found a common interest and became buddies?" Wendy said as they strolled into the village.

Back at the camp ground, Erza and Natsu had a confrontation.

"I wonder if Natsu wants to kiss me again…." Erza thought as she sat on a stump which was set directly behind Natsu's

"I mean it was a nice kiss, and I think he enjoyed it…" she thought about the kiss and put her hands on her lips.

"I'm gonna do it….and besides he said he loves me…." Erza thought as she got up nonchalantly.

She turned back to Natsu, who laid on the stump rubbing his stomach, and locked her eyes on her target.

"I will have your lips!"

As Erza marched towards Natsu he moaned and complained about food.

Erza pulled Natsu up and grabbed him by his shoulders, Natsu looked up and saw Erza then he diverted his attention towards her breast.

"Mhmmmm Melons…" Natsu said as he stared at them.

Erza blushed," Melons?! You don't mean my…" she looked down at Natsu and saw that his eyes were fixated on her breast.

"I want your melons Erza…" Natsu said deliriously.

Erza released her grasp of Natsu and he fell to the ground.

Erza held her chest and turned side to side," I mean if you want, but won't the others come back and see us. If they did I would be so embarrassed that I would die…" She continued to chatter as Natsu slowly rose from the ground.

"Give me your melons Erza!" Natsu's voice rumbled as his stomach had earlier.

Erza gasped and said," If it's with you Natsu, I wouldn't mind…" she then let down her hands and offered her breast towards Natsu.

Natsu's eyes had a dangerous intent to them as he honed in on the large breast. He then leaped on Erza.

Lucy, who hid in a bush not too far from camp, saw the action go down.

"Natsu?! You're such a savage!" she thought as she held down an unconscious Happy.

"Thank you very much sir." Wendy said as she bowed to the chief of the village.

"If there's anything you need just ask us, we have a camp set up right outside this village." Grey added while carrying the supplies.

"Well there is one thing." The village chief said.

"Oh and what is that?" Grey said a bit intrigued

"Well earlier this week a short man with a blonde ponytail showed up and asked if he could help out with our Vulcan problem." The village chief replied,

Wendy's senses shot up and she gasped," What's wrong Wendy?" Grey said as he looked at her.

"Excuse me, could you please tell us the location of the Vulcan!" Wendy asked quickly.

"Well it's to the west of here but-" the man's words were cut off when Wendy took off towards the camp.

"Wendy?! Where are you going?" Grey said as he followed her quickly.

"May I warn you, that the Vulcan is with other Vulcans!" the chief hollered out towards them.

Grey caught up to Wendy," Why are you running?"

"Because the man that the chief just described who we've been looking for…" Wendy said to Grey as they jogged back to the camp.

As they were coming back towards the camp Lucy heard them. Lucy wanted to stall them so they wouldn't catch Natsu and Erza in the act.

"Holy crap they're coming back, I need to stall them!" Lucy thought as she looked around helplessly for an answer.

Then a thought came to her head. She picked up the unconscious Happy and chucked it at Grey's face.

"Ahhh! What the hell was that?" Grey said as he rubbed his head.

"It was Happy!" Wendy said as she pointed at the tiny pussycat on the floor.

Lucy then came running out and shouting," Happy come back here!"

"Hey look its Lucy." Wendy then pointed out.

"What happened?" Lucy asked if it were unknown.

"Well I was heading back to camp with news about your guy and food when this fur-ball wanted to impersonate Miley Cyrus…" Grey said as he rubbed his forehead

"What's a, 'Miley Cyrus'?" Lucy asked curiously.

"...Nevermind" Grey said as he dusted himself off.

"Let's go we have news." Wendy said as she tried to proceeded towards the camp.

"WAIT! NO! DON"T GO TO THE CAMP YET WENDY AND GRAY!" Lucy said clearly and loudly so that Erza can hear her.

Erza heard Lucy's warning and kicked off Natsu, who was grouping Erza like a savage.

She tried cooling herself off but she was blushing to much and the sweat soaked her clothes.

As they were coming up Erza quickly reequipped.

"Erza we have news about your blonde friend." Wendy said to Erza.

Grey's attention was drawn to Natsu who was grabbing the air and crying out for melons," What's wrong with fire-boy over there?"

"He's just hungry…" Erza said quickly while blushing.

"Uh huh…." Wendy said as she poked her face and smirked

"Tell us about Edward Wendy" Lucy said anxiously.

"Oh yes. According to the chief of the village, your blonde friend arrived in this exact village this same week." Wendy told them," And he decided to take care of a Vulcan for the town." Grey added.

"Do you know where the Vulcan's Den is located?" Erza asked.

"It's West of town, we could probably reach the den tonight." Wendy suggested.

"But after we feed this one right?" Carla pointed to a jittering Natsu.

After their meal, they set off for the Vulcan's Den in hopes to encounter Edward.

"Hey that must be it!" Happy said as he flew towards the cave.

"Watch out Happy you'll never know where that thing's gonna come from." Natsu warned him.

As all of them slowly proceeded into the cave they heard chanting from the back of the cave. When they arrived to the source of the chanting they saw Edward, who was beaten and tattered suspended from the roof of the cave by a vine. The chanting was from the Vulcan, which was dancing around a fire.

Lucy felt her heart stop as she saw the condition Edward was left in. His mechanical arm laid in a corner of the cave.

"Guys… We need to get Edward out of here." Lucy said quietly to everyone.

"ALREADY AHEAD OF Y'ALL LUC!" Natsu cried out as he used Fire Dragon Iron Fist, which K.O'ed the giant ape in one go.

Erza threw a blade at the vine holding Edward from the roof and Grey stood under to catch him. After catching Edward, Grey gently put down the body where Lucy and Wendy rushed to his side.

"Edward please be alright…" Lucy thought as she put her hand on his forehead.

After a minute or two, he regained consciousness," Where the hell am I?"

"Thank Goodness your fine Edward!" Lucy said as she hugged him.

"Ouch…" Edward said as he then realized who it was," Take it easy Lucy I'm fine"

"I've missed you so much you idiot…" Lucy said as she teared up.

"I didn't know how much you missed me…." Edward said before he passed out.

"Edward! Edward! Edward wake up!" Lucy said as he shook him.

"LUCY STOP!" Erza shouted," He's most likely exhausted and dehydrated so let him rest for a bit."

"You're right Erza," Lucy said," Hey Wendy can you help?"

"Of Course" Wendy said as she perked up.

After taking Edward back to the camp with his mechanical arm he awoke.

He opened his eyes to see Lucy. Her hair was messily done up in a bun and you could see that 'no sleep' affected her stamina. Edward thought she was kinda cute

"What's up Lucy…" Edward said when he finally said.

"Want some water?" Lucy said as she hands him a cup of it.

"Thanks…" He gulped the water and then asked for more.

"How'd you find me?" Edward said as he supported himself with his arm.

"Well I didn't find you really, it was Grey and Wendy who found out about the Vulcan thing." Lucy said as she poured him another cup.

"Well how'd you lose to the Vulcan anyways…?" Lucy asked out of curiosity

The atmosphere suddenly changed when she asked the question.

"Lucy I need you to call everyone here…I have something that you all need to know." Edward said solemnly

"Guys… the reason why I lost against the ape thing was because I'm disappearing…" Edward said as he sat up.

"What do you mean by 'disappearing'?" Lucy questioned.

"I don't know exactly but what happened, when I was fighting the ape thing, was that my real hand became transparent and phased through my automail arm." Edward said as he demonstrated what he had done.

"But why? What happened?" Wendy asked.

"That's the thing, I don't know…" Edward replied.

"Edward…" Erza said solemnly," From what I know, you came here form a different world, another dimension basically correct?"

Edward thought for a minute and replied," Now that I think about it yes, I did."

"And I bet you arrived in this world through a Magic Circle because you came through this world when we returned from Edolos."

"What are you tryin to get at here Erza?" asked Grey

"What I conclude is that Edward's body is returning to its original place, just like how Lisanna returned to this world from Edolos…"

Everyone was shocked and speechless.

Lucy recollected herself," But why? Isn't Panther Lily and all the other Exceeds that came through the portal with us from a different world as well? Why don't they disappear back to their world?"

"Because they have magic, Edward doesn't…." Erza said as she pointed at Edward.

"Then how do you explain what he did back at the guild?" Wendy asked

Edward interrupted," My Alchemy is a Science; I just change the properties of the object and bend them to my will."

"With that said," Erza continued," Edward will eventually fade out of this world and back to his."

Everyone sat in a depression state as the moon shone brightly in the sky.
