(Warning, this AN is going to be long.)
…
Well, it's been a while.
I'm SO SORRY I've taken so long to update! Trust me when I say I haven't forgotten about this story, I HAVEN'T, I just didn't have the inspiration to write this for a while. But, the other day, inspiration just seemed to hit me over the head, and BOOM! Here I am!
Also, another reason why I decided to get off my butt and actually write this chapter, is because I was looking at the stories on the Gravity Falls section of this site, and I realized that a lot of MaBill fanfictions had disappeared. I was like, "I need to give people more MaBill to read!"
My brain: "So G (my nickname on this site), GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND WRITE!"
Ta da! As you can see, I listened to my brain!
But I'm back people! I bet most of you thought it would be the last of me, but HA! You can't get rid of me THAT easily!
Anyways, now onto the reviews!
KittyCat151: Thank you! I personally don't think my writing is that good, but I'm glad that you like it! Oh, and there are many things wrong with Bill. For example, he doesn't know what these things called feelings are. Poor, poor Dorito.
Yes, the Ever Changing Realm is the idea you suggested. I thought it was a good way to use your idea and many others because I had so many ideas requested. So thanks!
I'm happy you're excited for this chapter! And also, Mabel would be good as the queen of the chessboard, wouldn't she? *Wink*
PsychoticChainsaw123: ACK! *Jumps out of the way of the table* It's okay! Relaaaaaaa- OKAY. PUT DOWN THE CHAINSAW. PUT. DOWN. THE. CHAINSAW! *Chases you down and grabs the chainsaw before any real damage could be done* Okay. Now that we're all safe…
I'm glad you thought the chapter was spectacular! To be honest, that chapter originally wasn't supposed to be in the story. It was something I made up last minute. But, it seems like people like it, so all is well. And trust me, chaos will ensue these next couple of chapters!
Mabilluv13: You're welcome for using your ideas and liking your name! And I do really like your name! Hmmm, I like that idea. It kind of makes it seem like everything is normal and that they are finally getting a break, but in reality, it isn't normal at all. It sounds cool!
Ninjafairytama: …Can you read my mind? I actually have an idea for a future chapter that's nearly exactly like that. There are a couple of differences, which I won't mention because of spoilers, but that's the basic idea for a future chapter. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go use Ford's Mind Decoder Machine. Better safe than sorry.
ElementalFoxGoddess: Hmmm, I guess you're right. Although, I don't think he would know he was actually doing it… I hope Bill stays in character too. I'm trying my best, but if he starts to veer off track, I'm sorry! Also, no, there is nothing wrong with being attracted to a cartoon character. Trust me, I'm attracted a couple of fictional characters, cartoon and not, myself.
anonymous: I'm glad you like the challenge in the story. I mean, there wouldn't be much of a plot if the Shards simply landed right in front of them! Also, yes, the Shadows can be very threatening.
SweetieYammy: I'm glad you love the story!
anonymous (2): I like the ideas! With all of them you mentioned I bet I'll use some!
anonymous(3): Hmm. Those are some interesting ideas. Thanks for suggesting some!
xXDia-RoseXx: I'm happy you love the story! And the next chapter is right here!
C Survivor: Here's the update! I'm glad you enjoy the story, too!
ChibiTabatha: I'm glad you like the story and think that I'm doing an amazong job!
Let's Daze: Don't worry, this story isn't finishing anytime soon! There's still a lot more of the tale left to tell. Also, awww! I'm touched you feel this way about my story. It's not that great, but I'm glad you enjoy it!
bloodstone38: Yes, yes he does. It's funny, because I actually planned on making Bill play the piano before I saw Weirdmageddon: Part 3. Then, when I saw the episode, I literally started freaking out. Let's just say, I like Bill singing and playing the piano.
SweetieYammy (Again): I'll keep up the work!
Reaper1173: I'm glad you like my work and think things are getting good! Hmm, and what will be worse for Bill?
the obsessed shipper: Here's the update!
MysticMoonlight474: Awww! Personally, I don't think my writing that's good (especially looking back on it more than two years later, ha ha), but I'm happy that you like it! And here is the more you were waiting for!
piggy: Those are some interesting ideas. And- *Holds up a memory eraser gun* Are you sure about that?
666thMystery: Yeah, that's what I was going for, so I'm glad you took note of it. Also, all will be revealed. *Evil laughter*
MarionetteJ2X: Don't worry! I'm continuing this story. I'm glad you find Bill being affected by "drugs" funny. I wanted him to not quite understand human emotion and just associate what he's feeling with something he knows about, so that was the result! And trust me, that black belt will come in handy later on. Thanks for enjoying the story so much!
Thanks to all you amazing people for reviewing! You have no idea how much you're reviews brighten up my day. It's something I always look forward to and they never fail to make me so incredibly happy!
Oh, and one more thing… A STAR AMONG DARKNESS HAS MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED FOLLOWS (106 to be exact)! THIS IS AMAZING! Thank you all so much!
Now, let's not waste anymore time! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy chapter nine of A Star Among Darkness!
The idea for the Ever Changing Realm was given to me by KittyCat151. Thank for your great idea! Now some of the other 'mini-realms' in this main realm were provided by: anonymous and Ninjafairytama. I will state the exact Realm(s) at the bottom.
Disclaimer: Even after all this time, I still do not own Gravity Falls. This fantastic show belongs to Alex Hirsch and Disney.
Still tired, Mabel walked into Bill's throne room yawning, weary, and mad. When she woke up, she found herself to be angrier with the events of last night than she was when she fell asleep. Maybe it was because all the adrenaline had finally worn off, or maybe it was because she, at last, fully comprehended what had happened. Whatever the reason, though, she was extremely annoyed at a certain one-eyed Dream Demon. Yet what she saw when she walked into the room nearly surprised her annoyance away.
She thought she would walk into the room to see a still fuming Dream Demon sitting in his throne glaring angrily at a wall. Instead, she saw him floating in the air upside down, muttering to himself while eating what looked like a glowing ball of energy and lava that he held in one hand, and levitating one hundred or so pages around his body that he was reading at lightning speed with the other hand. The glaring was there however.
Long story short, it was a very odd thing to wake up to.
"Um…Bill?" Mabel asked cautiously. She wasn't sure if Bill was still mad at her, so she decided to keep her distance. A phantom pain ached in her throat.
Eating the rest of the energy-lava ball whole, Bill now used his free hand to lift his index finger up, indicating to give him a moment. Waving his other hand, the pages sped around him faster and the Dream Demon finished reading in forty-seven seconds. With a snap, the pages disappeared.
Bill straightened up and flew down to the ground near Mabel, nodding in acknowledgement. "I just finished reading Acornus' journal." When Bill saw Mabel flinch slightly at the memory of what happened earlier, he decided to stop mentioning the Shape-Shifter's name. "In it he wrote of all the jobs he did in his lifetime. Lucky for us, he wrote down the job he did for the Shadows."
"So that means we now know the exact location of the Shadow Shard?"
"Correct!" Bill smirked and knocked mockingly on Mabel's head. "Looks like you do have some brains up there, Shooting Star!"
Mabel flinched at his touched, but quickly recovered. The Demon didn't seem to notice. She scowled at the action and whacked Bill's hand away. "Hey, I may not be as smart as my brother, but I'm not stupid!"
Bill quirked an eyebrow. "So everyone gets fooled by a bunch of gnomes in human clothes and decides to date said bunch of gnomes?"
Mabel didn't say anything, but glared angrily at the Dream Demon floating in front of her. An embarrassed, angry blush was also making itself noticeable on her face.
The two stared at each other for a moment, Mabel's eyes full of annoyance and Bill's full of smug glee. The mood was broken by Bill's sigh.
"Well, if we want to collect all the Shadow Shards quick, we better start looking for the other one now." Mabel dropped her angry gaze and her calm, albeit hesitant, one returned. She nodded in agreement and steeled herself for the teleportation she knew was coming.
Gripping her wrist tightly, Bill paused only for a moment when he felt her jerk away at his touch, an effort that proved fruitless because of his grip. He saw her grit her teeth and look at anything but him. Unwillingly, his body felt a flash of pain at the thought that he had caused her to act that way around him, it was his fault, but he quickly forced those ideas away. I caused her to act this angry and scared of me once before, so why is it only bothering me now? Not wanting to think on it much longer, he focused on their destination. With a snap, the two were thrown forward. When they came to a stop, Mabel made a semi-perfect landing, not falling to the ground.
"Looks like you've finally mastered teleportation," Bill noticed, nodding ever so slightly.
As soon as Bill let her, she snatched her wrist from his hold. Then the teen seemed to realize what Bill had said and put her hands on her hips and smiled (the first one Bill had seen this morning) proudly. "Huh. I guess I did! Beat that teleportation!" she shouted, pointing a figure towards the sky.
Bill sighed. "Please keep your antics for after we get the Shadow Shard, Shooting Star. The more off track we get, the more time we waste."
She frowned, but knew he was right and returned to her more serious mindset. Finally taking a look at their surrounding area, she asked, "So. Where are we…?" The words fled her mouth as her job dropped.
They were surrounded by islands, and not just any type of islands, floating islands. Little pieces of land with different biomes were scattered all across the endless blue sky. There were tiny desert islands, jungle islands, even one that looked like only water! The island the two were currently standing on was a field with many a flowers spread about.
"Wow…" Mabel whispered in awe. "It's beautiful."
"I don't see it," Bill sighed, clearly disinterested. A watch flashing onto his wrist, he took a glance at it before flashing it away again. "We have nine minutes and eighteen seconds counting until we teleport again."
The teen's face contorted into confusion. "What do you mean teleport again?"
"The Realm we are currently in is the Ever Changing Realm. Every ten minutes, the Realm transports us to a new location inside itself. This is one of the many thousands in here."
"And we need to search through all of them to find the Shard?" That didn't sound very appealing to the girl.
"Well," Bill drawled. "Yes and no. I already know which Realm the Shard is in, we just need to wait to be transported there. Sadly, my own teleportation powers don't work in here, so it's a hurry up and wait sort of situation."
Mabel nodded in understanding, then moved away, plopping herself on the ground. "Well, since we have some time to kill, might as well enjoy the view." Her eyes landed on the beautiful scenery in front of her and stayed there.
However, Bill's own eye couldn't leave the human near him. He didn't like to admit it, but she perplexed him somewhat. Most people couldn't stand to even be on the same planet as him, and here she was, sitting calmly near him for the second time. But even though she seemed relaxed…
She's still disturbed about last night's events, Bill once again realized, although he couldn't blame her. She may have been paying attention to the scenery, but there was a faraway look in her eyes. She didn't look like…herself.
It was annoying him. And the fact that this was annoying him was annoying him even more.
He tried to just ignore his own annoyance, but it seemed his tolerance was low today. Sighing, he floated over to Mabel and was about to sit down, when he decided to give her a little space and sat a couple feet away. She ignored him.
He sat there for another moment, eyes set in front of him, just waiting for anything to happen, waiting for Mabel to do something, but the only thing between the two was silence.
He grunted in mild annoyance and resigned himself to what he had to do.
Mabel, purposely, didn't pay any attention to Bill. One, she was mad and sick about his actions the night before, and that constituted the silent treatment in her books. And two, to be honest, she was afraid of what he might do if he got angry again. In fact, she thought he was still angry from last night and was just hiding it well, a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
So it wasn't an understatement saying she was shocked when a flower came into her view.
She eyed the light purple petals, eyes wide, before her gaze slipped over to Bill.
"I'm sorry," the Dream Demon muttered, an annoyed look on his face. He was avoiding eye contact with her.
With a raised eyebrow, the teen hesitantly took the flower. "For what? Hurting me, or killing that Demon? Because if it's for the latter, I don't think it's me who-"
He turned his annoyed gaze onto her. "For hurting you, obviously. I don't regret a single thing I did to Acornus. He broke a deal we had, so he had it coming." Bill sighed when he saw Mabel tense up and look away. "But, I'm being truthful, for once in my life, when I say I didn't mean to hurt you. I was angry and took that out on you. I'm...sorry." He looked away for a moment, gagging slightly. "Gosh, how can you Meat Bags say that so often?"
Mabel stared silently at the flower for a moment, twisting the plant around in her hand. "I'm still mad at you, you know."
"I figured."
"And I still don't really forgive you for what you did."
"I didn't think you would."
She sighed. "But I do accept the apology. So..." She trailed off, not sure what else to say.
Bill smirked. "Good. This deal will only be worse if we hate each other even more than we already do, so I guess it's for the greater good. I'm glad we got that all settled."
Mabel snorted at his reply, but couldn't help her heart from twisting a little. Of course. He only apologized because he didn't want to be stuck with an even-more-boring-and-annoying me. What did I expect?
Shaking her head to get rid of her thoughts, she lifted the flower to her nose to give it a quick sniff. The girl allowed a small smile onto her face. "This smells really nice. What's it called?"
Bill's smirk seemed to widen. "Well, its scientific name is Dodecatheon meadia. But that's too much of a mouthful. So, I prefer what normal, non-scientists, call it."
"Which is...?" Mabel edged on.
"Shooting Star."
Mabel snorted again, her head shaking side to side with her short chuckles. "Of course it is," she murmured. The small smile from before had yet to leave her face.
The smile Mabel now wore seemed to soothe whatever discomfort Bill was feeling, much to his surprise. He ignored it though; choosing to just let what he supposed was the drug do its thing.
There was silence between them once more and that, once again, brought Bill annoyance. He opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by the sight of the world around them blurring and the feeling of being thrown forward. He flailed around for a moment before regaining his balance and, hoped, he started to float again.
Mabel's screams reached his ears and right before they could appear in the next area, he grabbed the back of her sweater and held on tight.
Bright light hit their eyes as the next world came into focus. As the teleportation stopped, Mabel let out a choked gasp as Bill's hold on her clothing caused her to stop mid-air.
Breathing heavily, Mabel turned as best she could, which wasn't much, to look at Bill, relief flooding her body. "Th...Thanks," she breathed.
Bill set her down to the ground. "No problem." He sighed. "We're going to need to keep better track of time, or else someone is going to get hurt."
"Hey!"
"It's true." The Dream Demon shrugged, taking his hat off from his head. He pulled what pulled like an old fashioned alarm clock from it and then turned a few knobs, supposedly setting the time. Smiling, satisfied, he threw the clock into his top hat and placed it back on his head. Looking up, he finally glanced around. "...Hmmm. This is interesting."
He saw Mabel look around the area, then gasp in surprise quickly holding her breath. They were currently under water (but thankfully, they weren't getting wet) with little fish and other small reptiles swimming around them. Giant bubbles were above the pair that, looked fragile enough to pop, but had creatures banging into it and the sphere didn't even shake. It was surprisingly bright here, too. It was as if they were on land on a sunny day, but instead everything was submerged by water. The only difference from a sunny, summer day was that it was a bit chilly.
Bill chuckled at Mabel's action. "Shooting Star, we can breathe here. It's not like being under the water back in your Realm."
Mabel hesitantly opened her mouth and took in a small breath. Her face contorted into one of surprise. "Oh." It took her a moment, but she started breathing normally again.
The Dream Demon sighed and crossed his arms. "Well, this isn't the right realm either. If we haven't gotten lucky yet, I'm guessing we're going to be here for a while."
Mabel frowned. "What realm are we looking for, anyway?"
"It's a Realm that starts out looking like a cave simply surrounded by forest, but when you walk in the cavern, the world becomes completely white. That's where the Shadow Shard is located and that area's the only place we can leave the Ever-Changing Realm."
The girl's eyes widened. "So you're staying we're stuck here until then?"
"Pretty much."
She groaned. "Of course it can't be easy." She looked around once more at the world surrounding them and her face brightened. "Well, if we're going to be stuck in these worlds for a while, we might as well make the best of it. Come on!" Propelling off the sand they were standing on, she swam upwards towards one of the bubbles. Bill sighed and followed her.
Reaching the bubble, Mabel just barely pulled herself up and sat on top of the clear surface. Bill followed suit.
"Wow," she whispered, staring at the large expanse of glimmering sea around them. It's beautiful.
The Dream Demon shrugged, not seeing the appeal. "We, or more you, seem to be doing a lot of staring today."
"I'm admiring the view. What wrong with that?"
"It's boring. There's so much more you could be doing."
"Like what?"
"Anything else."
Mabel huffed. "Well, you can do something else if you want for the time being. I'm staying here for the next..." She thought about it. "...Six minutes."
Bill didn't move, simply summoned a ball of blue-flame into his hand and tossed it back and forth.
They sat in silence for a while, and although Bill didn't particularly like it, the quiet was at least a peaceful one.
A ringing went off above the Demon's head and he quickly tapped his top hat to turn it off. "We have a minute until we teleport again," he informed Mabel.
She nodded in understanding, but kept her eyes on the fish swimming beneath her. She did tense up in preparation, though.
Bill put a hand on her shoulder to hold her steady when they jumped (Mabel only unconsciously flinching a little, which was an improvement from before) when he saw it.
The little flower he had given Mabel was tucked behind her ear, somehow staying in place.
Against his will, he felt a small smile grace his face.
The feeling of teleportation quickly wiped it away, though.
Mabel never thought that she could get bored of new places. There was always something exciting and different about somewhere new that made the trip there worth it. It gave change to life and created new adventures.
She can retract that statement now.
The teen first started noticing her boredom the forty-first realm in. By the eighty-seventh, the feeling had completely overtaken her and annoyance was starting to slip in too. It wasn't that the new realms weren't cool and neat to see, they definitely were, but being thrown from one place to another in quick succession tended to get...tiring. She couldn't help but wondered if this was what would have happened if they had stayed more than six hours in the geyser. Here, they were reaching fourteen. Thank goodness for Bill being able to manipulate time.
Speaking of Bill, at least Mabel was doing better than him. He kept conjuring up things to do, but his eye revealed all. He looked ready to murder somebody. Mabel shivered a little when she realized this, but paid it no heed.
The Dream Demon finally lost it the ninety-fourth realm in, though.
"Okay!" he shouted, throwing his arms up in anger and clothes darkening a tad. "I knew it would take a while to find the Realm, but this is ridiculous! And not the good kind!"
The two were currently in a lush jungle. Giant, full green trees surrounded them and the quiet hum of bugs could be heard from everywhere.
Mabel sighed. "Bill, calm down. Yelling won't change anything."
He glared at her. "How are you so calm about this?!"
The girl shrugged. "Simple. I react to boredom by doing nothing. It's the regular reaction."
Bill pinched his nose and sighed, colors going back to normal. "Well, as you have no doubt figured out, I am not what you would call 'regular.'" He had to admit that she had a point, though. Freaking out wouldn't change the situation. "Let's... Let's just go. See if we can find anything at least slightly interesting here." Grumbling, he floated ahead of the girl. She just sighed and followed.
Five or so minutes later, they found themselves at the edge of a cliff. The forest continued below them.
"Oh, a giant cliff. Because why not! Clearly a giant rock is more interest than trees!"
Scowling, Mabel turned to the Dream Demon. All this nothingness was clearly breaking them.
"Again, freaking out will get us nowhere, so-"
The two were interrupted by a giant screech coming from the jungle behind them. Mabel's eyes widened as she whipped her head around while Bill's narrowed, repeating the same action.
It was quiet for a bit, all the sound seeming to have been sucked into some dark abyss. But then a rustling in the trees right in front of them accompanied another ear-splitting shriek.
"Hold on, and then run," Bill whispered, determination settling on his face.
"What?!" Mabel whisper-screamed in a response, taking a hesitant step back.
"I said hold on, and then run!" Grabbing hold of Mabel's body, he picked her up bridal style and dove off the cliff, a giant, monstrous bird just scraping his top hat.
Mabel screamed, clinging on to Bill's neck for dear life. "What the heck is that thing?!" She could barely hear her own voice, due to all the wind slashing against them, but Bill seemed to hear her just fine.
"A Rafi! I've encountered a couple before, and let me say, they are not pleasant!"
Bill hit the ground with a thud, lightly placing Mabel to the ground and then looking up to see if he could spot the bird. Mabel saw it as soon as Bill did.
It was a monstrous, dirty green bird, larger than the size of a car. The only difference was that it looked like it was almost disintegrating. The animal had a blood red beak with foam dripping out of it and razor sharp teeth and claws. To top it all off, it had yellow beady eyes—eyes that were staring straight at them.
"RUN!" Bill shouted, throwing a fireball at the monster to distract it. The creature dodged it and only seemed to get angrier at the action. The last thing Mabel saw it do was give out a roaring screech. Then, she turn around and ran.
Branches, bushes, and other sharp materials cut through her skin and clothes; however, the teen paid them no mind. The only thing she was focused on was finding a safe place to hide, or outrunning the monster long enough to escape via teleportation. She would take either choice over death.
As she ran, Mabel heard the sounds of a battle behind her. Explosions and screams—Thank goodness they're not Bill's, she thought—rang in her ears behind her. Occasionally, a piece of debris would fly into her vision, but besides that, she saw none of the fight.
After jumping over a small wall of vines, she heard the bird scream again, and then Bill appeared beside her. "The timer just went off," he explained, somehow not out of breath. "We just need to keep out of that thing's way for one more minute."
Mabel's caring part of her wanted to make a comment about the different bruises and cuts Bill now had all over his body, but they seemed to be healing fast (and running from a giant bird didn't seem like an appropriate time to talk), so she stayed silent. The only thing she heard was the mental clock ticking in her head.
Fifty seconds...
Forty seconds...
A loud cry came from behind them, then the sounds of trees crashing to the jungle floor. "GET DOWN!" Bill screamed, pushing Mabel to the ground. Rocks, dirt, and branches dug into her skin, drawing blood. She also knew bruises would be present later. The teen felt a strong gust of wind rush over her as the bird swooped past where she had just been standing.
Thirty seconds.
She felt Bill grab her arm and pull her up, turning her in a new direction. "Come on!" Still holding on to her, he flew deeper into the jungle, Mabel stumbling along.
Twenty seconds.
The cry quickly returned behind the pair and the Dream Demon, and in consequence, Mabel, zigzagged in any direction to avoid the bird's claws and teeth
Ten...
Nine...
Jerking to the side, the two just barely dodged a fallen tree.
Eight...
Seven...
Mabel let out a cry as one of the bird's talons cut through her sweater and into her skin, Bill not being able to pull her out of the way in time.
"Shooting Star!" He yelled in response. Said girl looked up at him. Later, she would remember seeing a flash in his eye that she couldn't quite understand. Even after thinking about weeks afterward, she wouldn't know what it meant. But in that moment, she was too busy running for her life to care.
"Don't worry about it!" she screamed back, trying to ignore the pain. "Just keep running!"
Six...
Five...
Four...
Three...
Jumping over a giant log, the human and Demon burst into a clearing. There was nowhere else to hide.
Two...
The rustling and screeching appeared a second later. Turning around, Bill held Mabel behind him protectively, igniting a fire ball in his hand and narrowing his eye at the monster.
One...
The creature dive bombed them, talons outstretched.
Zero.
The world blurred around the two and they were shot forward. Mabel never thought she'd be so relieved to be teleporting, but it seemed today was a day of firsts.
Not even a second later, they were spit out from the fuzzy vortex and thrown onto the ground (Bill would forever deny he fell, but Mabel knew the truth).
The two lay on the ground in silence for a moment, just enjoying the quiet, and Mabel simply relished in the fact that she was alive.
She was alive.
"I'm alive," she muttered into the ground, a smile forming on her face. She pushed herself up, nearly falling back to the ground due to the pain in her shoulder, but the adrenaline kept her going. "I'm alive!"
She turned her head and gave Bill, who was beginning to push himself off of the ground, a bright, brilliant smile. "We're alive!" That's when a laugh escaped her lips, a sound that caused Bill to smile slightly. "We're-"
That beautiful sound was cut off by a sword being held against Mabel's throat.
Shocked out of his mini daze, Bill jolted forward, his gaze snapping up to whoever was holding the sword. "Hey-" His own actions were cut off by a weapon at his neck. He was about to fight back when he made eye contact with the...thing holding Mabel.
Bill could honestly say he had never interacted too much with Lizard People, but he wasn't getting a good first impression of them, so he doesn't think they would have ever gotten along.
The reptile narrowed their eyes at the Demon. It didn't take an expert to understand the meaning. You retaliate, she dies. And since Bill didn't have his teleportation, and the Lizard could more than likely swing it's sword faster than he could move...
The Dream Demon sat back, glaring at the monster. It seemed like he would just have to play along for the time being. It's fine, though, he decided. I can play the waiting game.
As soon as Mabel saw him do this, she felt her face pale. We're screwed, she thought.
People Who's Realm Ideas I Used in This Chapter:
KittyCat151: The Ever Changing Realm
anonymous: The Floating Isles Realm and the Endless Ocean Realm
Ninjafairytama: The Lizard People Realm (Will be featured more in the next chapter and have an actual name then, ha ha!)
Well, I hoped you all enjoyed this long awaited chapter! I don't know when the next one is coming out, but I really hope it's soon (truly, I hope it is. I know I take a while (that's an understatement) to write chapters, but I truly do love this story with all of my heart). In the meantime, if any of you didn't know, I actually have another story that is the outtakes of A Star Among Darkness, some scenes that I originally had in the story, but ended up getting cut or replaced. There's only one chapter there right now, but I'll be uploading another one soon. It's a short outtake for this chapter.
Well, that's all I have to say for right now. Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed the chapter! If you did, please review, follow, and favorite! And if you have anything you think I could improve on, please tell me! I love getting constructive criticism and being able to improve my writing.
I'll see you in the next chapter! Until then…
Peace! GamerFan369
