Part 1

My name is Ithaca Alexandra, 3rd born, and only daughter of their Majesties King Caspian X and his wife high Queen Susan. As to what they told me before I began my adventurous journey, they were blessed by Aslan with two boys. The first was named Adler, who was born in the 6th year of King Caspian X. The second boy they called Jonathan, who was born in the 8th year. My parent's tried for another child, as they wished for a girl. So one night the king was praying to Aslan for a daughter after 9 years of unsuccessful attempts, he promised that I would serve Aslan in whatever way I could. A few months later Aslan himself came to Cair Paravel and blessed them with a child. I was born in the 19th year making me the years were filled with happiness and joy for my parents. One evening, my father remembered his promise. So that night a week from my 7th birthday, he went and prayed to Aslan and said, "My daughter has been born. Now is the time I believe you are ready to take her to serve you."

One night, my father and mother talked to each other sitting by the fire. This was the night my brothers had been sent to bed early for playing tricks on the cook, and sneaking sweet, ripe apples, and carrots to the horses. I was sent to bed because I was little, and it was my bedtime. They talked about the kings Of Calormen, how to defeat the remaining ogres of the wild forest of the North, and the plans to return the forest to its true glory. As I slipped into a dream, I pictured my parents talking. Then all of a sudden as they spoke, the flames of the fire gathered into the shape of a lion. It roared loud enough to awaken me scared, and in a cold sweat. I got up, grabbed my robe to put over my white night gown, slipped some slippers on, and took my candle in its holder and crept as softly as I could to Adler's room. I whispered his name, "Andy!" and opened his door. "Are you awake? Can I stay with you?" He groaned, rolled over and said "I am now." pushing his brown-blonde locks out of his face. "Well I couldn't sleep. Something is going on with mother and father. They are talking to a person I think, because there is more than two voices. I am scared." "Well it's ok. You can sleep with me." He moved over in his bed and shifted the covers. I walked over, placed my candle on his desk, took my robe and shoes off, and lay down in his bed. He then threw the covers over me, pulled me close, and then we both fell asleep.

On the day of my 7th birthday, I was dressed in a long white dress and brought down to my family. Going down the flight of 72 stairs was difficult. I thought I was going to trip! Usually, Jonathan and I just slide down the banister. As I came into the east parlor, I saw my family sitting on the couches with a look on their faces like they were waiting for something. When they saw me, the stood up and walked towards me. Together we walked down to the east wing of Cair Paravel. When we got there, 2 centaurs opened the huge double doors and I saw at least 1000 people and creatures in the courtyard of what they called Aslan's sanctuary. I walked up to the podium as my family took their place on the first row of seats. I chanted the words written on the stone table in the ancient Narnian language to alert Aslan know I was ready. I still remember the words which I spoke:

"Ad vitam
Is est unus
Sed , ut salvam faceret a vita
Is , ut immolarentur
Historia et Memoriae
Da story
Da pacem
Ut 'super mare, Nam Aslan vocat me"

Translation:

To live a life

Is to survive

But, to save a life

Is to be sacrificed

History and Memory

Grant me thy story

Give me thy peace

That I may soar above the sea

For Aslan calls me

(This was originally written in English then translated to latin.)
