JJ trudged into school, the cuts on her cheek now bright red. She'd decided her cover story would be that she had been fixing a twitch in one of the animatronics and gotten scratched. No one was likely to doubt that.

She had managed to get some sleep that morning, and it had done her well. Paired with a strong cup of coffee, she almost felt normal. She was also in a better mood than she had been the previous day. Instead of choosing to spend her energy kicking a ball about with the boys, she decided to spend the day with her female friends. As per usual, the only thing on their mind was boys- until one of them, Anya, blurted something out.

"I'm gay."

They all turned to her in mild surprise.

"S-sorry, it's just… you guys are always talking about boys, but I don't like boys, and I understand if you don't want to be friends with me any more-"

JJ slung her arm around her. "Hey, chill. It's not a big deal. I'm not gonna judge you for it."

The rest of the group chimed in in agreement.

"Actually," Lacy started. "I've been meaning to say… I think I might be bi."

"Me too," grinned JJ. "I kinda prefer girls though."

"Awww. This is cute," smiled Chloe. "Wish I could join, but I'm pretty sure I'm straight."

The others nodded. "But we still support you all, of course!"

"Thank you guys…" Anya sniffed. "It really means a lot…"

They all patted her back. "If your parents aren't cool with it, you can always stay with one of us."

"I love you all..."

"We know, boo."

BB, predictably enough, slept through his second class. However, he managed to stay awake through his art class. This morning had been better for him- all together he'd managed to scrape a few hours of sleep. He'd already called ahead and asked the boss to let him take a nap during work. It felt like night couldn't come soon enough. He wanted to see JJ again. More than that, he wanted this hellish week to end- for both of them.

Despite what JJ had said, when the end of his shift was approaching, BB quietly went to the Marionette. The pizzeria was practically deserted, so he doubted anyone would see him talking to it.

"H-hey, Marionette…" The puppet was silent. "I know you like having your music… and we'll do our best to keep it wound… but we have to deal with the others too, so… can you cut us a little slack..? And… not hurt JJ again..?"

The Marionette's head lifted ever so slightly and, although his mask's expression could not change, his smile looked a little wider. "But dear child~ if I stay back I miss all the fun~ and she would make quite a pretty doll you know. Preserved… forever~"

"Y-you can't have her… she's not your doll…"

Phil poked his head in. "BB? Your shift's over."

"O-oh. Okay. I'll head out in a minute." He looked back at the Marionette. "…I suppose I'll see you later."

Yeah, it's short. So sue me. And yeah, it's pretty gay. But I've been watching so much gay stuff and reading so much gay stuff that I just HAD to slip in a little bit of gay somewhere. Also I wanted to add some diversity to the group. Plus the conversation gave them all a bit more personality. I would've done the same with BB's friends, but he doesn't have any. Got a little too relatable there.

Alright, it's 2:36am, I've just finished the Fairy Tail movie and I'm going to bed. There'll probably be another chapter in the next few days. There's like two chapters left cause I've decided to cut it a bit. The ending could be considered a cop-out, but I don't care. There might be an epilogue. I dunno. I'm tired.

Have a gay ass night y'all (or straight, if that's how you swing. Whichever) ~Rae
