We fast forward towards the future. Humanity has enjoyed its decades of peace. But when many threats present themselves, an unlikely band of new heroes with blood of legends, has been prophesized to protect the world. But they will have to learn from the past in order to gain their future.

10. Full Metal Tragic

When we last saw our heroes, they were handling their own personal problems. Which seems rather weird for something that involves Dragon Ball.

Goken: "Hey! At least we trying to make people care for us, with our personal lives!"

Oh yeah, you having girl problems makes you as over as Goku.

Goken: Brings out ki on his hand. "You know I'm quickly learning about this. You want to test this out for me?"

Oh! Uh...So anyways! When we last met our heroes, they were getting prepared for their next match in the World Tournament!

Chapter 10: Full Metal Tragic

A large green skinned fighter with black gi sits alone. He looks at the doorway that leads towards the arena, surrounded by thousands of people.

"Welcome to the World Tournament! Lets get the show on the rooooooad!"

Goken and Miru watches the arena, filled with cheering people. "Well...its showtime I guess."

Miru looks around the crowd, only to see her Mother and Aunt sitting next to each other, waving to her. "I'm so excited!"

Goken chuckles at Miru's sudden cheerfulness. "Well, I hope our opponents feel the same. I'm sure the losers of this little game wouldn't feel the same."

Meanwhile, a young man with shades and a cape looks at Goken and Miru. "Oh! Its her! Man, I never thought I'd find myself being here! I just hope no one recognizes me! But still, now that's I'm here, I wonder what I will do once I win though. That's gotta be tons of money to win. Hm...Maybe I can finally retire from the Regime and live in a mansion where I won't worry about everything ever again! Maybe even have her notice me!"

"Aaaaalright! It's time for our next fight!" The announcer announces. "Zoran vs The Masked Mystery!"

"Huh?! Already?!"

The one named Zoran is a tall Namekian. His glaring stare sends chills to the young man known as Navado, the Masked Mystery. "So your my opponent?"

Navado flinched. "Oh man! This guy looks serious!"

Goken and Miru focuses on the snow skinned man. "That guy..."

"He's strong..."

Navado stands before the tall Namekian, intimidated. "Oh man..."

"Begin!" The bell rings.

Zoran stretches his arms right away. Navado jumps out of the way. He looks to his left to see the arm changing direction and panics. He runs away from the arms, screaming. The crowd would look at each other confused.

Goken couldn't help but sweat at this sight. "Wow..."

Miru tilts her head. "He isn't doing so well...What do you think is wrong with him?"

Goken recalls this guy not being so strong. He only saved him from elimination due to pity, but he should have thought of this possibility from the beginning. "Then he thought about it, if he had eyes on Miru then." "Maybe you should cheer him on. Trust me."

Miru wonders if it will really work on him. "Um...okay."

Navado continues to hang on to the stretchy arms. "Heeeelp meeeee!"

"Come on! You can do it! I know you can!"

Navado then flinches as he recognizes the voice. He looks to the sidelines to see his crush cheering him on. "Miru?! She's...cheering me on?!" Then his power begins to double from out of nowhere. "I will win for you my love!" Then he punches the stretchy arm down.

"Huh?!" The Namekian flinches at the sudden pain on his arm.

Navado then falls over. "Whoawhoa! Whaaaaa!" He rolls out of control and falls over the ring. "What the-?!"

"And the Masked Mystery has been ringed out!"

Miru flinched. "Huh? He just tripped!"

Everyone then gets flustered on the the way how this match just ended. Goken then facepalmed. "Really?! I doubt even I would fail that hard..."

Meanwhile inside...

Juni looks from in the main buildings window. Dr. Yuumura walks around the room with phone in ear. "Look, I know that Juni's full power hasn't been properly tested, but I still don't find it a good enough reason to stop by to check on her."

"Don't be ridiculous Yuumura!" A man in a suit is in his flying limousine. "You have been blowing off our budget with your creation. I have to see this through with my own eyes!"

Dr. Yuumura sighs. "Yes sir...I'll make the preparations." He hangs up. "Juni, I think you should join the others. I think it will be more convenient once they call you."

Juni looks down to see Goken on the sidelines. "...Hm." She walks out of the door.

Yuumura smiles at this development. "I finally see progress."

Back at the ring...

The announcer steps in the ring. "Alright! Lets move on to the next match!"

Inside the bench room, Navado slouches. "Awww...I can't believe I lost like that..."

"Navado? Is that you?" He flinches, recognizing that voice.

"Soutia?!" Navado panics. "Oh no! No one should know about me being here!"

Soutia raises her hands. "Don't worry! I don't attend on telling anyone about this! But why are you here anyways?"

Navado then blushes. "Well...I uh...kind of...met a girl..."

"Hm?" Soutia wasn't sure if she heard that right. "A girl?"

Navado then gets finicky and jumpy. "Ah! W-We-We-Well...She is...the one on orange and..."

Soutia knows who he is talking about immediately. "Are you...talking about Miru?"

"That's her name? Miru...ohhh..." He really likes Miru's name. "Such a nice name..."

Soutia giggles. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Just don't let anyone see you. You know how our superiors can be very strict."

"I know..." Navado slouches. "I didn't want to cause trouble...but I just need to see her!"

Soutia nods. "I understand. Well, do whatever you like." She leaves.

Meanwhile...

Goken stretches his arms. "Okay, I'm up next."

Miru cheers. "You can do it Brother!"

Vegal nods. He then looks at Goken's opponent. He has dark toned skin, buzzed hair, with black sweats, tank top and bandaged hands. "He looks pretty tough compared to the rest."

Goken then takes a good look at his opponent. "Whoa...that guy looks pretty tough!"

"Up next, Yuzuru Goken vs Kokurai Potta! Let the match, begin!" The bell gongs.

Goken gets in defensive form. "Alright! Come on!"

Kokurai then jumps forward and attempts a forearm attack. But Goken blocks with his elbow. The force broke wind. Goken felt some strain. "You better run while you can, before I really hurt you boy."

Goken then jumps back. "Tch!" He begins to panic a little.

Miru is surprised. "Wow! This guy is so strong! I haven't seen this much power in his last match!"

Vegal looks on with a serious look. "Goken hasn't faced someone with that much raw strength so far."

Soutia then realizes something. "Wait. His aura! Didn't Mr. Keizer told us about certain areas of the world holding tribes with magical power?"

Vegal closes his eyes in thought. "That's right...In the history books, there was one boy that held extraordinary power. It seems his genes are in this man."

Miru is in awe. "Wooow..." She really wanted to fight him.

Goken begins blocking Kokurai's punches, which begin to hurt his arms the more he blocks. "Damn! He punches hard!" Goken then dodges as it seems as though time slows down in Goken's point of view. He then punches him in the gut. "I got him?!"

Kokurai then grabs Goken and lifts him up and slams him down. "You were too slow boy!"

Goken grits in pain. "Gurgh! Goddamn it!"

Vegal was not amused. "He hesitated once he punched him."

"Huh? He did?" Miru said in confusion.

Soutia looks on in worry. "I could tell that fighting is not in his nature at all. He has no quails with this man and is hesitating."

Miru then runs to the side of the ring. "Brother! You don't have to hold back! Its okay! We are all having fun here!"

Goken then gets sent to the floor hard. "Urk! Easy for you to say!" Kokurai jumps up very high. Everyone watches in suspense and awe. "AH!" Goken rolls out of the way and dodges the punch that breaks chunks of the ring into pieces. Goken rolls out of the way and dashes forward to strike him with an elbow to the chest. Goken clearly has the speed advantage. Goken tries to drown out his doubts. He begins to remember Miru's training and starts wailing on his opponent. "Tuh! Huh! Torya!"

"Tough!" Kokurai attempts a kick. Just when Goken couldn't react fast enough, but then he suddenly felt his body suddenly reacted faster than his thought process. He ducks, barely feeling the kick. He then uppercuts him hard.

"WOW!" Miru is amazed. "Go Brother! Now's your chance!"

Goken then jumps towards Kokurai and kicks him out of the ring. "Huh?" Everyone cheered. "Whoa! I actually did it!"

Miru then jumps on him. "YOU DID IT!"

"Whoa!" Goken was caught off guard. "I guess I did..."

Kokurai sits up and looks up to Goken, in which he takes notice to his fallen opponent. "You got me." He gives him a thumbs up.

Goken smiles, feeling honored by this kind gesture. He nods to him. As the next match is on the way, Goken felt really good about himself. "So I guess I won again."

Miru hugs her half brother. "I told you! I told you are strong!"

Goken then thinks about what happened back at the fight. He knew he would have lost. But then everything just slowed down while he was feeling the high adrenaline. "Yeah..." He wasn't sure if this was his doing or something else internally.

Vegal is impressed by Goken's sudden speed boost. "Looks like he can tap into his inner power in a desperate time. Yes...my suspicions are correct..."

Soutia is now nervous at the thought of Goken this strong. Vegal has no doubt going to use him. She takes her attention to the next fight. "Guys, the next match."

After a fight between two competitors that has no relation to Goken and his friends ended, they focus on the next opponents and he is shocked to see one of them. "Huh?! Its that guy!"

"Coming up towards the ring, The one simply known as The King!"

The one with the silver hair and red eyes, with a very high and mighty personality who would have eliminated Goken in the preliminary battle royal if it wasn't for the match ending in time. He arrogantly smirks at Goken, making him flinch. "Looks like you have neglected my presence, and for that I will make your defeat especially painful and humiliating."

Goken backs away, clearly afraid of this guy. "I feel real bad for his opponent..."

"And his opponent, Juni!"

Goken flinches again. "JUNI?!" He turns back to see Juni already behind him, and she walks towards her opponent. "Wait! He's really tough! You don't want to mess with this guy!"

Juni turns to him. "I have to defeat him. Its my mission."

Goken is sweating, nervous on what will happen to Juni. "Oh man oh man oh man!"

Miru pats his shoulder. "I'm sure she will do fine. She is very strong after all!"

Goken watches Juni enter the ring, along side the cocky opponent. "I sure hope she is strong enough..."

Juni stares on to her opponent. "..."

"Oh...looks like you seem pretty confident to defeat me. I assure you, you are in for a rude awakening!" He arrogantly mentions.

"Fight!" The bell rings as Juni gets in defensive form.

As both of them stare at each other. Juni glares at his red eyes. Then she flinched. "Could he be...?"

"Here I come!" He then charges in and readies a spin kick. Juni dodges in the last second. This made everyone gasp in shock. Juni's reflexes was unbelievable in their eyes. She then dodges his fury of kicks and punches. The speed of these two are beginning to become too much for the audience.

"Don't worry folks! If you wish to know what's going on, we will show you in the main screen! Now lets see the action in slow motion!" They see the fight more clearly, and they see Juni has parried most of his attacks. Everyone cheered, and praised Juni for her skills. "Such amazing skills from this girl!"

Goken is in awe. "Whoa..." Looking at her in action, it made him blush and breathless.

"You dirty mongrel!" The silver haired combatant begins to show irritation. He then creates beams from his finger tips and slashes at Juni. However she jumps up and twirls around, dodging the beams. He then shoots ki blasts that home seek Juni. She flies all over the arena. However they begin to catch up to her and they explode on her. "Yes!" Everyone looks on in suspense, wondering if Juni has been caught. But then, once the smoke clears, a purple barrier is shown. Juni created a barrier that protected her from the homing shots. "You are testing my patience!" The opponent then forms an energy blade coming out of his one arm. "I am the strongest being that ever lived!" He begins slashing in top speed, but Juni dodges the rage filled attacks.

Goken is beginning to feel his eyes hurting for trying to follow the fight. "Damn! Just how fast are they going?!"

Miru is closing her eyes, feeling their energy. "...it's sort of hard to follow them. Its like they have no energy...Well the guy is letting out so much energy though, but its like Juni has none!"

Soutia watches with her scouter, and her face sweats."Juni isn't letting out any power, and yet her speed is immeasurable!" Vegal is even more suspicious.

Juni then connects wrist to wrist with her opponent to avoid any contact with the blade. "Now." She then kicks him in the face. She follows up with a another kick in the back in a very fast pace.

Goken flinches. "Did you guys see that?!"

Miru clenches her fists. "She is very fast! Even for me!"

Vegal looks on with a very serious face. "A little too fast..."

Soutia mentions, "Not to mention her fighting skills is uncanny! She was able to dodge this guys barrage with no scratch on her!"

Juni brings out her own energy blade and does a jab. The gloating one then panics for a second and dodges the blade. Then a scratch is formed in his cheek. "You..." Juni stands there, with no sign of a readable emotion. "I'LL DESTROY YOU! YOU SWIIIIIIINE!" His grey aura bursts all over the arena. Everyone is being blown off guard by his sudden blast of energy. All but Juni, who is standing with one arm covering her face from the wind. "YEAAAAAAGH!" He jumps towards the slightly winded Juni.

"Juni! Look out!" Goken shouts out.

"DIIIIE!" The silver haired fighter then punches Juni hard enough to have the wind break through out the whole arena. He lets out a large grin. Only for it to drop down to a shocked look. "What...?"

Juni blocked the fist with her one hand. "I know who you are..." He flinched. "Your an android that ran off from your creators. Designated: Shi. The fourth model in the current series of battle androids."

"What are you talking about?!" He uses his other hand to punch her, but she dodges and she knees him in the gut. His face is in total pain and agony. His mouth even drools.

Juni lets go of King as he stumbles all around, still dazed and in major pain. "You were missing in action after a massive battle. You seem to have forgotten your original orders. Surrender yourself is highly recommended."

Shi tries to get up. "I am...higher than you...I am higher than everyone! Its why...I am stronger than you insects!" He then bursts out more power.

"Your power seems to grow as it likes. But that leaves your body strained. Your current functioning brain is not favoring your decision making. At this rate, you'll only destroy yourself."

"SHUT UP AND DISAPPEAR!" He then summons a large ball of energy and then rain down multiple blasts that envelop the whole ring. The announcer managed to jump out of the way to safety.

Juni is inside her barrier, glaring at Shi who is still firing with little care for the destruction he is making. "Your growing energy must be the cause of your sudden change of personality. An experimental flaw. Which I lack in comparison." She then flies towards him with the raining blasts only hitting the shield. She then dashes around him and hits the energy ball Shi is holding.

"What?!"

Juni then turns the orange ball into a blue one as it begins to swell up and eventually blows up in a bright light. Everyone closes their eyes as the explosion was too bright for them. As things clear up, they look up to see Shi fall down hard outside the ring with his eyes blank white and his mouth wide open with his shirt completely destroyed. Juni is still on the air, unaffected by the explosion. "Th-The winner is Juni!"

Everyone cheered once the match was set and done. Miru then jumped up. "WOW! Juni is amazing!"

Goken was in shock to see this happening. King, or in this case, Shi was a very tough opponent, he would have eliminated Goken easily if it wasn't for the match ending. But Juni just beaten him easily. It wasn't even a match. This made him very nervous to see Juni coming at him like that. Being beaten badly, and in front of millions of people. This is not what he signed up for.

Vegal and Soutia are not as excited as everyone is now. "Its no doubt about it."

"I know. Juni...is an android."

"That machine is going to be a problem..." Hearing that from Vegal hurt Soutia inside, knowing Goken really cares for Juni.

Juni looks at the unconscious body of Shi being carried away. "Wait. He is Bio Marketing Industry property. Let me take him off your hands."

"Oh um...okay...whatever...you say?" Juni then takes Shi and walks off.

Goken couldn't help but look at Juni even more. The way she displayed her power and skill. It is the best performance in this whole tournament so far. Everyone seems to agree with that thought. "Juni..." He has no words to say. She is beyond his understanding in many ways.

Later...

"Yes, it caught us all off guard. But don't worry. He's already taken into our custody...I'm not into reprogramming his memory banks. But his personality seems too unstable to be left alone...Understood." Dr. Yuumura hangs up his phone. He turns around. "You did a good job back there Juni."

"Affirmative..."

"Maybe you should get back with the others."

Juni stood there, looking at the window. "I wish to stay, for a little...with you."

The Doctor sighs. "Sure...I'm sure your friends need to adjust to what they seen."

Back in the arena...

Goken was walking around, pacing back and forth. "This is crazy...this one guy whose stronger than me, and yet Juni took them down! How did she get this strong?!"

Miru is also historical. "I know right?! Mmmmmh! I want to try my hands on a little one on one fighting with her now!"

"Defiantly the opposite of what I'm thinking right now!"

Vegal looks on to the building Juni entered and knew who to direct his effort on. "She's going to be a very tough opponent."

Goken looks at the building in worry. With this undeniable display of power, he wonders if the simple story of this girl was really the full story. "Juni...just what are you really?"

It seems Juni's power has been revealed to be far beyond everyone's expectations! Is Goken, Miru, Soutia, Vegal, and everyone else in this World Martial Arts Tournament stronger than this angelic android? And just what other surprises are in stored for our little heroes?

Outside the stadium, a girl in dark green braided hair and big glasses stands alone. "I must stop this...no more fighters...no more pain!" She then lets out a different looking aura that is more bubbly and aquatic.
