Chapter 9: Need You Now

That night Remus, Sirius and Tonks stayed up late talking and bringing up old memories.

"I had a great time but it's time to go to bed for me, work is waiting for me in the early morning" Tonks stood up and winked at Remus.

"I saw that! I knew it! You two love birds are planning to have a wild night. I must find my headset to protect my ears." Sirius screamed out followed with a loud laugh.

"Sirius, for Merlin's sake, behave yourself. You are completely wrong, Tonks will sleep in my bed and i'll use the couch." Remus spoke strict and tried to hide his embarresment. He felt eyes staring at him. He looked towards the feeling and saw Tonks staring at him with a confused look.

"If that's your story. Just so you know, I'll be sleeping with headphones tonight." Sirus left but his laughter was still playing. As soon as Sirius shut the door behind him Tonks stepped closer towards Remus. She wrapped her arms around his neck and felt his hands on her back.

"Remus, please tell me you were kidding?" Tonks said with the saddest voice she could speak.

"No i wasn't, i believe it's better this way." Remus gave her a weak smile but knew he disappointed her.

"Alright, I'll go to bed then. Good night." Tonks released her grip on Remus and turned away. A strong hand stopped her and pulled her back into his chest.

"My Dora, don't be disappointed. I just want to take things slow with you, you mean a lot to me." Remus gently lifted her head and gave a soft kiss on her lips.

"I just want to sleep with you, I don't want to miss you all night." Tonks mumbled in his shirt.

"Sweetheart, I'll be by your side whenever you need me. Now please go to bed and sleep with your gorgious smile on your face." Their lips met again and they whispered goodnight wishes in each others ears. Tonks left and Remus moved to the couch. As soon as he layed down on the couch he started thinking about Dora. He wanted to sleep with her so badly. Hold her in his arms all night, stare at her sleepy face, kiss her in her sleep... But he couldn't. He really didn't want Sirius to know about it for now. Now he just wanted her, only her. Sirius would come in between them with his stupid jokes. His thinking kept going, he didn't know how much time had passed since Dora left but he missed her so much. He started imagining her sleeping in his bed now. He couldn't stop thinkning about her and it drove him mad not to be beside her every second of everyday. Suddenly his thoughts got disturbed by the sound of an opening door. He could see someone coming closer to him, please don't let it be Sirius. He know it wasn't him, he could smell her. Dora!

"Dora, is everything okay?"

"I'm sorry, but i don't want to miss you any longer. Please let me stay with you tonight?" Her soft voice spread through the darkness and Remus couldn't help but shiver from happiness.

"Come here my crazy girl." Remus removed the blanket above him and Tonks quickly layed herself over Remus on the couch.

"Are you comfortable sweety?" Remus looked at her and stroke her hair.

"I can't be more comfortable, you are the softest bed i could ever sleep on." Tonks pressed herself even closer to Remus and buried her face in his chest. She gently placed several kisses on his chest and in his neck. Remus moaned from pleasure.

"Babe, i love your kissing but please stop turning me on. Remember that i want to take it slow with you." Remus looked into her eyes.

"Remus?" Tonks asked with a soft voice, looking straight into a pair of ocean blue eyes.

"Yes dear?"

"I think I'm falling in love with you."

"I already know i'm falling so deep and nothing will stop me from falling even deeper" Remus said and kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams my wolf"

"Sweet dreams my rainbow"
