Hey guys sorry it took a while I was working on the wedding and re-writing it. Please enjoy and don't forget to review or PM me any suggestions or ideas :P lulu xx

Michael took Vincent to visit Nikita the next day. He was still crying when Michael walked into Nikita's hospital room. Michael put the baby carrier and bag at the bottom of the bed. Michael freed Vincent from the carrier and handed the baby over to Nikita. He immediately stooped crying and started to settle.

"Did he stop crying at all last night?" Nikita asked as Michael slouched on the visitor's chair.

"Yeah to throw up on me" Michael stated.

"So that's what the ewe no, no was about yesterday?" Nikita quietly asked.

"How did you? Birkhoff" Michael muttered.

"I don't think he like it when you aren't around he was fine when Alex and I went shopping but now he won't stop crying when you aren't here" Michael said closing his eyes.

Nikita smiled as she heard Michael's quiet snoring coming from the corner of the room.

She looked down at Vincent who was asleep holding onto Nikita's night gown. Nikita picked up her phone and sent Alex a text.

'Think I found a dress'

Alex immediately text back.

'We are going shopping this weekend! Xx'

Nikita let out a small chuckle at Alex's eagerness. Vincent woke up after half an hour. He started pulling on Nikita's top causing her to chuckle. She leant forward and pulled Vincent's bag closer. She found a bottle in the bag already made it just needed heating up. Nikita looked over at Michael and then at the door. She pulled the pole holding her IV bag closer to the bed before sitting Vincent into his carrier. Nikita walked out into the hall and a nurse instantly appeared.

"Can you heat this up for my son please?" Nikita asked.

"Of course I will bring it straight to your room you shouldn't be out of bed" The nurse said guiding Nikita back into her room.

Nikita had just got back in bed when the nurse walked in holding the bottle. She waited for Nikita to get comfortable before handing her the bottle. The nurse then left to do her duty. Nikita picked Vincent up and laid him back in her arms and began feeding him. Nikita felt sorry for Michael staying up all night to comfort the baby. She should have being there with him. Instead she was listening to him the whole night.

The doctor walked in while Nikita was feeding the baby. He had a file in his hand and a confused expression.

"My nephew. We were babysitting when I had the accident" Nikita explained.

"Right. Nikita you can go home today we are going to give you painkillers that will last for a month it is important you take four a day and that you come for a check-up next week."

"Yes Doctor" Nikita said burping Vincent.

"Strenuous activity is ill advised as your rib is still healing. You shouldn't do anything like walk a dog or strenuous exercise or lift heavy boxes" The doctor informed.

"Thank you Doctor" Nikita said as the doctor walked out.

Nikita picked up Vincent's teddy and aimed at Michael's head. Immediately after hitting him, Michael woke up.

"What? What's wrong?" Michael said standing up.

"I can go home! The doctors going to come and de-wire me and then I'm a free woman." Nikita explained.

An hour later Nikita was ready to leave the hospital. She had Vincent sat on her hip with her undamaged ribs, Michael had Nikita's bag, Vincent's bag and his carrier. Nikita signed the last of the documents and picked up her medicine before walking out of the hospital holding the doors for Michael.

The trio stopped off at division updating them on Nikita's health before going baby shopping. Michael drove Nikita to the same shop he and Alex visited. Jess, the store worker, was stood at the door as perky as ever. Nikita still felt a bit sore so Michael had her pushing the cart with Vincent sat in the front staring at her.

"Michael. Back so soon?" Jess asked approaching him.

"Jess" Michael said unenthusiastically. "This is my wife Nikita"

"Hi" Nikita said letting Vincent wrap his hand around her finger.

"Hi feeling better?" Jess asked.

"Who are you?" Nikita asked bluntly.

Jess was speechless, Michael turned to look down an aisle pretending to admire something, but really he was hiding his grin. Boy that was his woman. Jess learnt her place and scurried away.

"Well?" Nikita said turning to Michael.

"She helped when Alex and I came here the other day. Have I told you I love you?" Michael answered.

"I know. I love me too" Nikita said sarcastically.

A woman walked into the shop tears furiously running down her face.

"M-Michael? Nik-kita?" The woman shouted.

Michael ran up to her. Nikita stayed with Vincent watching Michael interact with the woman. Michael jogged back over holding a white envelope. The woman sluggishly walked out of the baby shop, a weight lifted of her shoulders.

"A strange man came up to her. He showed her a live stream of her husband and daughter playing in a park and then a gun aimed at them. He told her unless she gave us this letter, they would, would die." Michael explained.

Nikita took the envelope from him and freed her finger from Vincent's vice like grip. She tore the envelope open and pulled out a white, piece of paper. As she opened it a woman's perfume floated into Nikita's air way She saw dried tear stains doted all over the page where the mother had spilt her sorrows.

'Dear Mr and Mrs Bishop,

My name is Sue Lan. You are looking after my son. I was told the previous information you were given about him. It was wrong. My son is called Joe 'Joey' Vincent Lan and is Asian-American.

Things you may need to know about my son are as followed:

He doesn't see his father as I am a single mother; therefore he gets unsettled when he is left in a male's presence for too long.

He was born on the 22nd of March and is just going on to six months old. I still bottle feed him and give him soft foods but have recently started to give him solid food, which I hope you can continue to do.

He isn't allergic to anything however he doesn't like sprouts, as I discovered giving him a sprout filled baby food mix.

I trust you to look after him as I have being informed that you are government agents. I am not able to be located as I am trapped in a dungeon like place until the man doing this is ready to give me my son back.

Thank you for doing this.

Yours sincerely

Sue Lan'
