I am ALIVE! Sorry about the lack of updates but I have been busy with life stuff and work so yeah.
Saren: I will get out of these things and when I do I will kill you, you little brat
Me: I very much doubt that unless you can get yourself out of those restraints fight past a ship full of necromorphs and mechs, and then get into this room past an army of hired mercs.
*restraints snapping*
Saren: WHO WANTS SOME
Me: (sigh) well if he survives this I'm going to have to invest in some new security.
Rise of the commonwealth re-write

Council chambers
It had been a little over two months since the war with the commonwealth had ended, and things were finally beginning to return to normalcy, but for councilor Tevos everything was far from normal.
In the war nearly 3/4s of the councils space faring ships had been destroyed or damaged beyond repair, the citadel was still undergoing repairs, and c-sec had been forced to do heavy recruiting from the humans that had started coming to the citadel. The Hierarchy was livid in particular, their supposed military superiority had been smashed overnight by the humans who not only beat the hierarchy fleets on their own turf but here at the citadel as well. The Salarian union on the other hand was practically jumping for joy; they were finally getting access to brand new technology, made independently of eezo, their egg heads had nearly had a systematic meltdown when they were told the news. Her people were as always; plotting trying to find a way to 'convince' the commonwealth to join back with the citadel. But there was one outstanding issue that had Tevos concerned, the Quarian migrant fleet had disappeared off the face of the galaxy after an incident involving them the Turians and the Commonwealth, the council couldn't afford to let those Quarians slip through their fingers, now of all times especially. So she was waiting for the one Turian she knew would get the Job done.
A knock was heard from the door.
"It's open". The door opened with a whoosh and in walked Saren Arterius.

Tali Zorah nar-raya looked at the gauge again working furiously to get the gauge meter back in the green if she didn't the pipes would bust spreading eezo all over the ship after another few seconds the pressure decreased and the gauge went back into the green. Tali sighed in relief as she activated her omni-tool
"Father the pressure build up has been stopped, but we need to dock soon to get repairs started."
"I know Tali but we are in the middle of nowhere the only thing in this system is an inactive relay and the one we came through" Tali sighed and made her way to the bridge wondering how things could get worse.
When she got to the bridge she was immediately greeted to the general alarm sounding.
"Captain a Turian patrol group has just found us" oh that's how thought Tali cynically.
"We are being hailed."
"Attention Suit rats you are ordered to heave too immediately or you will be fired upon" Tali tensed up, if they stopped now the eezo in the pipes would be given a chance to build up which could cause them to burst and spread radioactive eezo all over the ship. She looked at her father and he looked at her knowingly.
"We can't the eezo in the pipes…"
"Are you refusing a council order suit rat?" the Turian almost sounded happy
"No I…"
"Very well… cut the link and prepare to fire" the line went dead and everything fell silent.

CWS Humans last Resort
Jessica Shepard sat in her seat on the bridge of one of Humanities most destructive weapons; She was in command of a patrol group consisting of her capital ship, a dreadnought 4 cruisers and a dozen frigates, some may consider this overkill but in her mind it was justified as this area was classed as a Black zone(A/N explanation at bottom),she had a mug of Costa Rican coffee in one hand and a report in the other which she had sneakily put a book over.
"Shouldn't you be reading the report Sis" said a familiar voice well maybe not sneakily enough she thought dryly
"I tried but it's just the dry boring stuff that is always there, nothing new so I don't feel the need to read it." Her brother Marcus nodded; he and his squad had been placed on rotation on her ship, she looked over to her brother who was dressed a in black shirt, black pants with a red camo pattern and black combat boots. He looked a hell of a lot less intimidating out of his newly issued blackguard armor, she was so proud of him.
"So how is life as a black guard compared to Blacklight" he was about to reply when an ensign came up to her.
"Captain Sensors have picked up a relay activation in the nearby system" Jessica looked at her brother an eyebrow raised a gesture he returned she then turned back to the ensign.
"Plot a course let's see what's going on"
"Yes Ma'm"

"BOSH-TET" cursed Rael Zorah vas-raya as his ship maneuvered out of the way to avoid being struck by the incoming projectiles, his ship wasn't meant for this, it wouldn't be long before one slammed through his ship killing all on board, he needed a miracle
"SIR SOMETHINGS COMING UP ON SENSORS"
"Oh what now" Rael almost sobbed he looked at the visual feed showing the anomaly, it looked like a portal and then out came a cluster of ships that looked nothing like what Rael had seen before one of them was even 5km long keelah though everyone on the bridge, however now the Turians had stopped firing it was then that they were contacted by the unknowns. The screen split in two, on one side was the Turians and on the other was a… pink Asari?
"Greetings Quarian captain my name is Captain Jessica Shepard, I am the commander of this patrol group, I request to know your business in this system" before he could reply the Turian cut in
"The Suit rat has broken citadel law, I demand you allow us to finish our business or…"
"Stay out of this Turian" growled someone off screen, the person walked into view to show himself to be a male member of Jessica's species. He glared at the Turian with piercing blue eyes, the Turian growled but remained silent.
"Thank you Marcus, as I was saying what is your business in this system" Rael looked felt sweat trickle down his brow, he had never been in this position before, it was obvious the council knew who these people were but Rael didn't he just hoped he could make a good first impression for the Quarian people.
"My name is Rael Zorah vas-raya, of the Quarian migrant fleet, we came to this system in search of resources from what we thought was an unclaimed system, however something went wrong with our system and the mechanism meant to stop pressure build up in our eezo pipes is broken, if we do not get it fixed soon, radioactive eezo will kill everyone on our ship." Rael hoped these people could understand his situation better than those Turian bastards
Jessica seemed to nod her head but the Turian had seen enough.
"I've had enough of your lies heave too Quarian or we will blast you to atoms.
"No" came a cold voice from the screen, a third screen opened and another pink Asari with long yellow hair and a green article of clothing was shown sitting in an office.
"Sir Integra Ma'm" Saluted the two pink Asari on screen, the Turian visibly stiffened
"I have decided that this ship and its crew are now under commonwealth protection, you are ordered to leave the system or my forces will consider you a hostile threat" and with that every sensor on the board showed a massive build up of energy from the commonwealth ships what the kind of weapons do these people use thought Rael.
The Turian didn't seem to get the memo
"I've heard enough of this all ships fire at will on the commonwealth" and with that he cut the feed. It was the last thing he ever did, rounds rocketed through space and slammed into green shields that flared into existence.
"Excuse us for a second" said Jessica as she too cut the feed, and with that the Commonwealth ships returned fire. It was devastating
Beams of energy and slugs of metal sliced through space and slammed into and through the Turian kinetic barriers, the beams pierced through the ships from stem to stern, and the slugs just annihilated whatever the slammed into in a flash of green plasma. Rael could only watch in fear.
"Now how about we meet in person" Rael looked at the woman on screen who had a sly grin on her face, Rael shuddered to think what could possibly happen now.

CODEX- tension zones
After the war different zones were declared tension zones depending on who they were bordering this is a system used by the commonwealth to decide which areas get more and deadlier ships.
Green zones: zones of 0-20% tension these are generally friendly zones and so very few ships are needed to patrol the area at any one time.
EXISTING GREENZONES: Commonwealth heart systems.
Yellow zones: A zone of 21-50% tension these systems have the odd chance of a raid or skirmish but it is nothing too threatening and so has a small but noticeable presence.
EXISTING YELLOWZONES: council- commonwealth borders, with the exception of the Turians.
Red zones: Zones of 51-80% tension, these systems have a constant medium size military presence which is generally controlled from a fortress world in the heart of the system.
EXISTING RED ZONES: Terminus-Commonwealth border
Black zones: Zones of 81-100% tension, these sytems are constantly monitored and patrolled by the best ships humanity has and the main bulk of their forces of patrol duty.
EXISTING BLACK ZONES: Turian-Commonwealth border, Batarian-Commonwealth border.
