The Mission

After Ashely, Zoey and Joseph went their separate ways to their houses, Ashely went ahead and packed everything that they would need.

"Water check, extra clothes check, flashlight check, I think that's all we really need right Zo?" Ashely asked the Canis who nodded in response. "Great now let's see what I'm going to wear..." Ashely basically dove right into her closet to start looking for the right clothes, Considering that Joseph was going with them. Few minutes after choosing a outfit and then putting it back, Lucy walked through the apartment door to see a complete mess.

"Hey, Ashely? Why does the room look like a tornado hit it?!" Lucy exclaimed. Ashely turned around to see an angry Lucy. Her arms were crossed and she was tapping her foot impatiently on the floor, waiting for an explanation.

"Hehe, sorry I was just trying to find the right clothes to wear for the mission" Ashely replied sheepishly. Soon a smirk caught up on Lucy's face as she realized what was happening to her dear friend.

"Ohhhhh were you trying to find the perfect outfit for Joseph?" Ashely instantly went red.

"N-noooo why would you say t-that?"

"Because you like him!"

"Shut up! Well I might like him but you like Natsu don't you!" Now it was Lucy's turn to be red.

"N-noo I don't like him at all!" by the sound of her voice Ashely could tell she was lying.

"Natsu and Lucy sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Ashely sang while walking around to pick up all the clothes on the floor.

"Shut upppp!" Lucy groaned, Ashely ignored her and kept singing

"First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes 33 babies in multiple baby carriages!"

"Shut up Ash!"

"Isn't payback sweet!" Ashely grinned at Lucy, who groaned once again. "Well I don't know about you but I still have to choose what I'm going to be wearing and you have to do that plus pack." Ashely finally stopped singing and returned back to choosing what to wear.

A Few minutes later Ashely finally picked what she was going to wear and was now taking a shower. Lucy finished packing and was waiting for Ashely to get out of the shower. When Ashely got out she was wearing jean shorts, since it was hot outside, and a dark blue spaghetti strap tank top with a open blue jacket over it she also had her black hair in a ponytail. Lucy took the clothes she was going to wear into the bathroom and shut the door. Outside of the door Ashely was checking the time.

"Hurry up Lucy we have about 40 mins to get to the train station on time!" Ashely shouted to the blonde taking a shower. Ashely went to find Zoey to see her napping on the couch.

"Awww you little adorable little thing!" Ashely squealed quietly she then slowly picked up the sleeping Canis into her arms. About 30 mins later Lucy walked out with cargo short shorts and a blue tank top (what she wore in the fairies penalty OVA I think) and her hair pig tails. Zoey woke up about 10 minutes ago so she didn't have to worry about her.

"Finally your done we have..." Ashely looked at the time "7 MINUTES?! Hurry up and grab Your stuff or we'll be late!" Ashely grabbed all her stuff along with Lucy and bolted out the door.

When the girls reached the train station they were right on time and saw Natsu, Joseph And happy waiting for them. Erza, Gray and Wendy weren't able to come along to it was just them 6.

"What to you guys so long?" Natsu asked. Ashely looked towards Lucy who, in return, smiled sheepishly.

"Lucy took too long in the shower." Ashely answered. Before anything else was said the train pulled up and the group got on it. After a few minutes the train started to fill up. When they made sure everyone was on the train it started to move, effectively making the dragon slayers weak and nauseous.

"Train used move on Natsu and Joseph, it was super effective!" Ashely joked making Lucy giggle as the two dragon slayers gave her a weak glare. Lucy offered Natsu her lap which he instantly agreed to. After a few second he started to feel a little bit better.

"W-why can't you d-do that?" Joseph asked Ashely, almost vomiting.

"Fine, if you really want to, come over here." Joseph started to move to where Ashely was and laid his head down. Weirdly enough it was actually helping him with his motion sickness. If you would look from another place it would seem like Ashely and Joseph were a couple and Natsu and Lucy were a couple. Zoey and Happy just watched from afar at their love-sick partners.

After about 3 hours

After The group finally got off the train the dragonslayers literally started kissing the ground, earning some confused and worried looks from others. When the girls pried they off the ground they finally started heading for the clients house.

The group knocked on what seemed to be a cabin in the woods waited to see a old man greet them.

"Hello! I guess you are the team I got to help me? You're from fairy tail right?" The groups just responded by showing him their fairy tail marks. "Great! Now please come inside to talk more about the gem" the group soon followed the man into a tiny living room.

"so mr..." Lucy dragged on

"Mr. Morals"

"So, Mr. Morals you sent us to find a gem that is supposedly guarded by a so called beast" Mr. Morals nodded "Would you mind telling us were the cave is?"

"Oh that's right, the cave is about north from my cabin. You should be able to see it after a few minutes of walking" Mr. Morals directed the group.

"Thank you I think we should start heading out now. Let's go guys" Ashely said dragging everyone outside.

After about 20 minutes of walking north the group finally saw a cave.

"Do think this is the cave, Lucy?" Ashely asked the blonde.

"Yeah I think it is, I mean it is north of the cabin where he where told us to go to." The group slowly started to walk in to hear a low hissing sound making Lucy jump.

"EKKKK d-did you hear that?" Asked the slightly frighted blonde.

"Of course we heard it we have better hearing than you." Ashely said in a matter of fact tone.

"O-oh r-right I kind of forgot" exactly after Lucy said that something whipped out of the cave making a hissing noise.

"What are you doing in my cave humanssssss" a voice asked. The group whipped their head up to meet a giant blue snake making Ashely freeze in place.

"I-it can't be... A-Alora?" Ashely asked the snake

"Ashely? Oh my goodness it IS you" The snake disappeared to be replaced by a middle age woman with blue hair tied in a bun wearing a blue dress. Said woman rushed over to Ashely to scoop her up in her arms. "It feels like I haven't see you in years!"

"You kinda haven't Alora. since I finished my training with you" Ashely looked over to the group to see confused faces. "Oh right you guys don't know her. Well this is Alora the one who taught me my magic. Alora this is Lucy, Natsu, Joseph, Happy and Zoey"

"Hello, i guess you have been the people my pupil made friends with"

"Nice to meet you Alora." Lucy greeted

"Yo!" Natsu and Joseph greeted

"Aye!"

"Hi Alora" Zoey greeted cutely. Alora had to refrain from jumping at the Canis and hugging her to death.

"You have great friends Ashely. You have grown since the last time I saw you" Alora smiled

"Yes and great friends they are Alora. And of course I've grown the last you saw me was when I was about 15, I'm 18 now." Ashely told the goddess who smiled again.

"Well anyways what are you doing here Ashely?"

"We are on a mission that someone send us on to find a gem that is in this cave." Lucy explained Alora's eyes then widened as she remembered what gem she was talking about and went to go find it. After a 3 minutes Alora came back with a purple gem.

"I think this is the gem you're looking for Ashely. I found it when I claimed this cave as my home." Alora explained as she handed it to Ashely.

"Thanks you for the help Alora. I'm glad we didn't have to search for it. I hope to see you again but for now we must separate, Goodbye Alora!" Ashely said hugging the woman. After all the goodbyes were said, the group went back to the client's house, turned the gem, collected the jewels and went home.
