Hi! Well here's the next chapter I don't own TAWOG
It was a dark silent night in Elmore, when suddenly a piercing noise filled the air:"Round Round get around I get around yeah get around ohhhooohhhhoohhhh I get around" The radio of a police car blasted the song "I get around" by the beach boys into the night air. The Donut Cop was humming along to the catchy tune as he was patrolling the town, he was extremely excited, it was his 50th anniversary tommorrow and he was remembering back to when he had first met his wife Christine on his first day of high school. Flashback "John I can't believe this is actually happening! We're going to high school!" A younger thinner version of Donut Cop said as he and his best freind were standing in front of the Elmorian 1st district High School (EHS1). "I know D.C.! I can't wait! Let's go!" The two boys hurried up the steps to the large school. 1st period "Alright class my name is I am your first period science teacher please go to your assigned seats" The class filed to each of their seats they were seated in a boy-girl pattern. Donut Cop looked to his right and saw a thin blue-eyed cupcake. The cupcake noticed him staring at her and giggled. "What's your name? Mines Christine! "Mines DC." "That's a cute name! Hey is your next class algebra? Because that's mine! What are you doing tommorrow? Do you want to hang out?" "Man this girl is all talk" DC thought in his head. 2nd period Sitting down in his preassigned seat,DC sighed lying his head back on the back of his chair and closed his eyes, "this is the life" he thought. "Hey" he felt a finger poke his cheek "Are you alive?" The finger poked his cheek again. "What!?" He said slightly annoyed, opening his eyes. Seeing a pair of big blue eyes looking into his. "HI DC!" The cupcake screeched. "Hi Christine" he sighed. "This is going to be a looooong year" He muttered to himself. DC's Junior Year at EHS1 In the middle of a giant potato field was a lone oak tree with two figures sitting under it. DC was seated under it with a cupcake who was blabbing on about the last football game he was in, he was a substitute quarterback, the main one, John Fitzgerald had sprained his ankle so DC had been sent in and he won the game at the very end with a QB sneak, but DC wasn't interested in his game at that instant like Christine was. "Hey Chrissy?" DC said interrupting Christine mid-sentence. "Yeah DC?" "I was umm wondering if well you would want to go to dinner with me at that French restaurant in town tonight?" "Like a date?" She asked, eyes wide. "Yes like a date" DC said nervously, "that is if you want to go, do you?" "EEEEEE"she squealed, "of course Ill go! Do you know how long I've been waiting for this!" "You mean you wanted to go out with me?" DC asked, shocked. "Yessss!" Christine said giving him a very tight hug. DC sighed, life is good, he thought. End Flashback DC was brought back from his reminiscing of the good ol days by his phone buzzing, picking it up he read "Reminder: 1:00 PM pick up ring for anniversary" DC sighed, he started to drive toward the Elmorian Jewel Store. 12:45 "I'm early" DC sighed as he pulled into the parking lot of the EJS. Getting out of the car he stretched, hearing his bones creak, he sighed (again), he was getting old and he was craving donuts...again. Opening the door he heard a TV on in the background "ITS OVER 9000!" "WHAT 9000!" DC grinned, that must be the owner, he loved old animes and cartoons. "Hello anyone there? Or is everyone dead?" DC called out. "Hold yer horses! I'm coming out ther! Don't ya rush me!" A door opened behind a display of diamonds. An old donut stepped out "oh howdy son! I almost forgot you were coming! Have I got a surprise for you!" "Ok Dad" "Well this," he pulled out a ring with a green gem giving off an unearthly glow about 1 inch and a half tall and in a the shape of a well polished diamond "This is free son" "Thanks dad..wait you said it's free?" "Yup I found the gem in my front yard so I decided to put it in a ring for you!" "Thanks! the missus will love it!" "I know son I know." Driving home DC was remembering all the good times and bad times in his life, he realized he had and will have a great life. He didn't regret anything.
