Hey guys! I was having a huge writer's block for this story because I just don't really like this part in the show so I guess you can relate to me there. So I'm sorry this is kind of late. Just know that you will get a chapter at least once in two weeks. I always try to make one once a week but school is horrible and I have after school activities that I have to deal with. Hey, at least I'm not saying that I'm quitting on the story or not writing a chapter for a while lol. I will never give up on a story! Anyway, please give me a review or comment and tell me whatever you have to say. Just remember that I don't give a crap about haters so yeah. Well I've talked enough so thanks for reading and here is the chapter!

Ch. 10

I was shocked and a little scared to be a couple of feet away from the gang's leader, Master Kobra. His voice was kind of deep, but sounded reptile-like and menacing. I held my breath, fearing they would hear me, and got a closer look of the man they called their leader. He was very tall; easily getting a few inches above his minions. His eyes, I think, were red with black rings around them. Looking at his face, I saw that he had high cheek bones and a wide mouth. His skin was very pale, almost like a pale grey color. I couldn't see if he had hair on his head because he was wearing the gang's official hood. Looking down, He was wearing black pants with a yellow belt that had a snake symbol on it. The last thing I noticed before I had to hide myself again was that he was wearing red gloves with a streak of yellow on it. Overall, he looked pretty tough and intimidating. Then again, I am just a teenage girl who's only 5 feet and 7 inches. Damn, the others would be so proud of me for my analysis skills!

"Hurry men, our buyer will arrive at any moment. Make sure you are packing the right venom in those crates and then taking them to the helicopter pad."

He told his gang members before he started to walk out. They answered with a "yes Master Kobra sir" and continued their tiring task of laying the venom in the crates. I got behind the corner again and tried to communicate with Kaldur.

'Aqua Lad, I think I might have some information.'

I thought telepathically. His response was quick.

'Alright, what did you fine. I'm glad you're okay. I didn't hear from you for a while.'

I felt my cheeks go red as I couldn't help but smile.

'As soon as I got in the factory, I found a couple of gang members stuffing venom in crates. Then their leader, Kobra, showed up to make sure they were working efficiently. If we don't have a clear description on him, then I can give it in full detail. Anyway, he said something to the members about putting the right kind of venom in the crates. He then told them to bring it to the helicopter pad because their buyer would be here any moment.'

I finished and sighed silently. I know I was basically just thinking but talking to someone in thought was just like talking by mouth and that was a mouth-full! I waited for a few seconds before I got a reply from my teammate. This time, though, it was from Robin.

'You sound pretty badass right now Scarlett haha. You're definitely right about that venom thing. Wally and I found something on a computer about which venom they were shipping. Of course I had to use my awesome hacking skills...'

He paused and Wally's voice came on.

'Nobody cares about your stupid hacking skills, dipshit. Anyway, we found that the venom was a mixture between the "Project Blockbuster" formula and venom. I'll tell you about Project Blockbuster later so don't worry about it. You're doing awesome and we have a lot of info right now. So I think it's time for us to meet back again. Try making your way to the Helicopter pad where the shipment will take place and then wait for our signal. Be careful Scarlett-Shit! What the hell!?'

His voice disappeared from my mind and I blinked. Okay, what the hell just happened? I hope they didn't get attacked or something like that...

"Okay...the helicopter pad..."

I muttered as I looked around the place. It was probably where all of the members were laying the crates down outside so I just had to get out there without being seen. But I can't do that because of these two guys packing venom into boxes. Ugh...should I knock them out and hide them? Now is not the time to hesitate Scarlett! Just knock them out and go on with the mission; it's easy.

"Damn, this is a big order. I wish Master Kobra would hire more members to help. I'm starting to get fucking back pains."

One of the guys said to the others as he stopped to stretch. The member he was talking to nodded in agreement and continued packing venom.

"Yeah, I don't understand why he doesn't. I know he has the money too. Speaking of that, we don't really get paid that much...You would think our Master would be more generous when it came to pay day. I guess life's just a bitch huh?"

These guys just sound like the normal dumb bad guys Batman always has to put in jail. I swear, all I had to do was sneak behind them, form a bat of light in my hand, and slam it against their heads. Their heads bumped into each other and they were obviously out cold. I snapped my fingers silently, my gloves helping me do that, and picked up their legs. I dragged the both of them in the darkest and unnoticeable corner I could find and wiped some sweat that had formed on my cheek. It was really hot here!

"No Mom...I don't need peanut butter for the dog to lick me..."

I gave a disgusted look and face-palmed as one of them mumbled in their sleep. The other breathed too hard through their mouth and it was kind of loud.

"Just my luck...hmmm..."

I said to myself as I thought of a way for them to stop. I smirked and opened both of their mouths. I then proceeded to connect their mouths together and it looked like they were kissing. I giggled quietly and sighed in relief when they started breathing through their noses now; which was a lot more quiet than their mouths. God, they're going to wake up to their own nightmare haha. Alright, now I have to get to the helicopter pad. I left the two 'gay lovers' together and walked through the factory; trying to be quiet as a mouse. On my way to the pad, I couldn't help but think about the others. Why did Wally suddenly just stop communicating with me? What if they're in trouble and I'm just here without any problems.

"Stop worrying Scarlett, damn..."

I mumbled as I finally made it to the pad. There were a big group of gang members here that laid on the ground, knocked out, and Kobra was here as well. But I also noticed someone else standing next to him. This man had bright blond hair, like mine, and had a mask over his face. I wonder if this was the buyer they were talking about. The both of them were working on the helicopter with a look of frustration on their faces. I bet they met the group already and let them escape. That must have been why Wally stopped talking to me.

'Scarlett. Are you there?'

I felt my stress level lower as I heard Kaldur's voice inside my head again.

'Yeah, I'm right at the helicopter pad where all of the gang members are. Are we ready to intervene?'

I asked him.

'Yes I think so. We will move in in three...two...one...go!'

I instantly dashed out into the open air of the outside while the rest of my team revealed themselves from the side. It felt really good to see them again. Kobra and the blond guy gasped and glared angrily at us as we attacked. The blond masked-man ran over to fight Conner and Megan while I tried to go for the few gang members who weren't passed out. Before I got there though, Wally sped past all of them and they suddenly hit the ground with a thud. Wally's green eyes matched mine and he grinned as he held up one of the member's masks.

"Souvenir!"

I giggled and rolled my eyes.

"Do you always get a souvenir? And what happened to that spanish dude?"

I asked him while scanning the area for more enemies.

"Oh you mean Bane? Yeah well, he tried to betray us but we knocked him out. What a loser, am I right? Anyway, how did your spying go?"

"Pretty good."

I said back to him.

"...I think I did okay for my first time. Question, who is that blond guy who is fighting Super boy and Miss Martian?"

I asked as I looked over at the three fighting. Wally told me that his name was "Sportsmaster" and that they had fought him before; also mentioning that he was the buyer of this whole operation. He told me that he would tell me all about it at the cave and I nodded. Looking over my shoulder, I saw that Robin had lunged himself at Kobra in attack mode. Being the huge guy that he was, Kobra easily threw Robin back when he tried to jump on him.

"Ah! Shit!"

Robin yelled as I ran to catch him. He was surprisingly heavy for being the age he was; it was probably muscle. I watched as Kobra escaped through the bushes as soon as he had the opportunity and I cursed under my breath.

"Haha..."

Megan laughed as she walked over to me. I gave her a confused look when I saw that Sportsmaster's helicopter was rising in the air.

"Why are you laughing? He's getting away!"

She stopped laughing and smiled.

"I planted an explosive in there before he got in. It should blow up any minute."

She said as we both looked up at the flying machine. She was right when the helicopter lit up and swerved uncontrollably. The blond villain was forced to parachute out to safety as the helicopter fell down to the factory, blowing it up. The fire was bright and hot as it appeared in front of us.

"Damn, I hope those two woke up before that happened..."

Wally looked at me and rose an eyebrow.

"Huh?"

"Nothing!"

I yelled as I quickly tried to change the subject while the team walked back to the ship.

Long story short, we were basically done with what we had to do for the night. We all got into Megan's bio-ship and headed back to the cave to a very pissed off Batman was waiting. He, of course, lectured us on our "many failures" and it lasted about ten minutes before he stopped. He sighed and then smiled at us which totally caught me off guard.

"But nice work. I'm proud of you all for your ability to adapt to a new situation and actually deciding on a leader as a whole. I will let you know when your next mission is...Oh and good spy work Scarlett. I heard from Robin."

He said as he walked away. I blinked and turned to Wally.

"Okay, so when did we pick a leader?"

He shrugged.

"We were fighting the whole way there and then decided on Aqua Lad as our team leader. Trust me, you didn't want to be there. And...I'm sorry for yelling at Robin while you were there."

He whispered to me. I giggled and waved my hand through the air.

"Don't worry about it. And I think Kaldur being the leader is a great idea. I don't think I would've said otherwise. Wally, I've been thinking. I don't really have a good super hero name like you guys do, and since your very creative, I thought maybe I should ask you if you could make me one."

I said to him out of the blue. He grinned at me happily and crossed his arms in thought. There was no telling what he would come up with...

And that is the end of the chapter! Everything in the chapter that may have been offending was just for jokes so don't get mad at me guy! Please! Lol.
