A very short and idle bit of emptiness.

"Hold a tick." Harry grabbed Buckbeak's tail just before Hippogryph and Godfather took to the skies, a stunt which earned him a squawk and a snap from Buckbeak.
"Harry?" Black was clearly confused.
"HARRY!" Hermione was furious and waving at her watch.
"Dobby!" Harry ignored the lot as he yelled very softly for someone he had failed to think about for ages.
"What can Dobby do for the great Harry Potter sir?" Dobby arrived with colour and energy.
"Are you still free?"
"Oh yes." Dobby nodded until his ears must surely fall off.
"Looking for work?"
"I's working for wage here at the castle, but I's can quit if Harry Potter has work for me."
"This is my Godfather." Harry waved over his shoulder. "Paddy's a fugitive on the run...so's the hippogryph for that matter."
"Hullo Mister Harry Potter's fugitive dogfather."
"Yes, well he needs someone who can do stuff for him." Harry hushed down the exciteable elf. "Get money from Gringotts, go shopping for food, clothes, a wand...also he needs company...and he'd probably love to help you figure out how to prank Malfoys."
"Great Mast..." The rest of Dobby's rapture was lost as Harry headed for the stairs and Sirius grabbed the back of Dobby's top and encouraged Buckbeak to take off. Being on the run with a house-elf might almost count as comfortable...and to get a wand for himself. He'd wake up tomorrow, but for now this was one dream he would enjoy.
