Author's note: I am so weird with updating. Whatever. I'm having fun and that's all the matters. Last chapter was just shocking. This story will be going somewhere. I promise. Here's chapter 10 of, "They'll Be The Stars" I don't own A&A.
Last Time on The Stars No One's POV
Austin sends Ally a text message. He was scared too. It was something that needed to be said. He never thought he would tell her this again. No he did. He just didn't think that their 8 year old daughter would be there. He just wants to make her happy. And this text message will fill that happiness. That's all Austin wants. And he couldn't imagine it any other way.
And yes, Ally canceled their flight. She just needs more time to think. And Emerie was so happy. She wants to spend every second that she can with Austin. Her father.
Oh and that text message. It read, "I'm still in love with you."

Present Time No One's POV
Ally texts back, "I'm sorry but I can't"
March 14, 2027 No One's POV
"You must be Emerie." The school principal, Mrs. Cassandra Bell said.
"Yes I am." Emerie said.
"And where are you originally from?" Mrs. Bell said.
"New York." Emerie said.
"Okay. How about I give you a tour of the school?"
"That would be great."
Okay let me explain. In the last 2 month, Austin and Ally have been in a custody battle. Ally obviously wants her daughter to stay with her in New York. However, Emerie wants to stay with Austin in Miami. And Austin, he just wants his daughter. This custody went to the Florida court it was that big. The temporary agreement was for Emerie to stay with Austin until June. They she goes back to Ally until a permit agreement is settled. More about that later.
Since Emerie has to go to school, she's going to the public school in Miami. It's the elementary school. Emerie is sad that she has to make new friends. Tara told her that she'll be fine. Emerie trusts her. Why wouldn't she? Tara is her best friend so far. Practically sisters. Okay, sisters.
"This is going to be your classroom. And this is your teacher, Mrs. Meyer." Mrs. Bell said.
"Hi." Emerie said.
"Hello, Emerie. This is going to be your desk." Mrs. Meyer said.
"Okay. Who are the other people in the group?" Emerie said. The desks are in groups of 4. This group only has 3 people.
"There's Chloe, Sabrina, and Alyssa. They're all friends and really great. They'll love you." Mrs. Meyer said.
"Are they nice?" Emerie said.
"Very. They like making friends." Mrs. Meyer said.
"Thanks you." Emerie said.
"You're welcome. I'll see you tomorrow morning." Mrs. Meyer said, "Goodbye."
"Bye." Emerie said.
Mrs. Bell, Austin, and Emerie continue the tour. She shows Emerie the cafeteria, gym, art and music rooms, and the computer labs.
"Thank you so much." Emerie said.
"You're welcome. If you have any questions just email me, Austin." Mrs. Bell said.
"Will do. Come on, Emme." Austin said.
"Bye." Emerie said.
"Goodbye." Mrs. Bell said.
March 15, 2021 No One's POV
"Have fun, Emerie." Austin said. He and Emerie are in the office. She's starting school today. Emerie is so excited. Sure, she misses Bailie and Hailie like crazy but, she wanted to be with Austin. That's all she's ever wanted.
"I will. Bye dad." Emerie said.
"Bye. I love you." Austin kisses the top of Emerie's head.
"I love you too." Emerie said.
And Austin leaves. He waves to Emerie before leaving the office. She waves back. Mrs. Bell leads Emerie to Mrs. Meyer's class. Emerie is scared to meet Chloe, Sabrina, and Alyssa. She thinks that they're going to be mean to her. Like that American Girl movie.
"Marley, Emerie is here." Mrs. Bell said.
"Thanks, Cassie. Class we have a new student. Welcome Emerie Dawson." Mrs. Meyer says.
"Hi." The class said.
"Emerie, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?" Mrs. Meyer said.
"Well I'm originally from New York City. I've lived with my mom my whole life. I was born on Christmas Eve 2018. I have 2 best friends back in New York, Bailie and Hailie. I met my father for the first time in January. I have a younger half-brother and half-sister. I love to dance and write. That's me." Emerie said.
"You're a dancer?" Mrs. Meyer said.
"Yeah. I can dance if you want me too." Emerie said.
"Why not?" Emerie takes out her iPod. She picks a dubstep song. Emerie starts to dance. The whole class claps to the beat. When Emerie finishes, the whole class applauds her, "Thank you." Emerie said out of breath.
"That was amazing." Mrs. Me yes said.
"Thank you." Emerie walks to her desk, "Hi I'm Emerie."
"Chloe." Chloe said.
"Sabrina." Sabrina said.
"Alyssa." Alyssa said.
"That's my middle name." Emerie said to Alyssa.
"Cool." Alyssa said.
"You were really good." Chloe said.
"Thank you." Emerie said.
"I wish I had a talent." Sabrina said.
"You'll find it. Trust me." Emerie said.
"Thank, Emme. Is that okay? Calling you, Emme." Sabrina said.
"Yeah." Emerie said.
No One's POV
Emerie had a great first day. Chloe, Sabrina, and Alyssa let Emerie join their friend group. Quickly, they became friends. Friends that will last forever. And trust me, they're not going anywhere. And if they do, they're dragging Emerie with them.
And that custody battle, it's still being fought.
