Hinata/Whispup: *pops in with adorable santa outfit* Ooo! W-When do we get t-to eat sweets?
Aria: *chuckles* Soon Hina-chan, soon. But we are presenting a fun special chapter in light of the holidays. It's not the biggest but we all hope you enjoy.
Naruto/Whispup: *chasing Aipom* Hey those are my poffins, give them back!
Aria & Hinata: *watches comedic chase scene with sweatdrops* Um, you better go help him, Hina-chan...
Hinata: *chases after them* Give Naru-kun back his Christmas poffins!
Aria: ^^; Without further adue lets get startered while Hinata hopefully keeps the boys from trashing the place yeah?

Deck The Halls

It was the night before Christmas, and all through the lodge.
Not a pokemon was stirring, not even a rattata
...Well almost no one was.
Oh come on you didn't think nothing cooky or crazy would happen
On this most joyous of nights.
Oh contraire, something always happens on Christmas night...

It was a cold night and a storm was a brewing outside a forest lodge that the Brock, Dawn, and Ash had been allowed to stay in for the holidays. They were trapped here by the frightful weather outside. The trainers had stepped out to go to a nearby town with the aid of Prof. Rowan. Turtwig shivered as the window suddenly was forced open by a strong wind. It was well known the majority of grass types didn't handle the frigid cold well. They just weren't built to handle it.

"C-cold! Somebody close that window please!?"asked the grass type.

"I got it~!"eagerly Aipom went over and with a swift motion of his tail the window was closed and locked.

Naruto looked around the lodge, those gears in head turning while Hinata with Buneary and Croagunk got the fireplace going. Pikachu noticed this right away and hurried over with a smile. "I know that look Naruto, what's on your mind?"asked Pikachu.

"Hm, the house just doesn't feel right..."mused Naruto, tapping his paw as he paced around.

"Naruto you're gonna end up putting a hole in the floor with that pacing."pointed out Piplup.

Naruto soon stopped noticing his paws were indeed starting to get hot, leaving his paw prints behind. Oops, he had to be careful about that. He recently learned if he wasn't careful the power from his gems would leak out as heat and eventually fire if he wasn't paying attention to his wayward thoughts. "He he he...oops."

"Wh-what's wrong with N-Naru-kun?"asked Hinata as she came over, having just set the fire with her own flames.

"Oh something's bothering Naruto. He says something is missing."informed Pikachu.

Hinata's lavender eyes instantly lit up with joy and mirth as a lightbulb went off in her head as she looked around. She knew instantly what was missing, an old and fond memory coming back to her. There was not a speck of Christmas decor anywhere, not even a tree and Christmas Eve was tonight!

"I know w-what's bothering him~"purred Hinata, earning looks of interest from everyone, "Just look, there's no decorations anywhere!"

Naruto and the others looked around...she was right! Not a garland, not a candle, no tinsel, no tree, and not even a mistletoe in the doorway. He recalled some fond memories of when he and Hinata spent their first Christmas together as a couple...it felt so special; he had made such a big deal out of it. Then that mischievous trickster smirk graced his face as he moved to float in the air.

"Uh oh, he's got THAT look on his face..."gulped Sudowoodo.

"I got an idea, believe it~"said Naruto in excitement.

"Oh? What would that be?"asked Staravia.

Hinata and Buneary giggled for they had a pretty good idea what it might be. Buneary soon spoke up, "I think I know what it is."

"What exactly?"asked one confused Turtwig and Pikachu.

"Lets decorate the entire place! They'll be so surprised when they get back with Prof. Rowan!"barked Naruto, tails wagging wildly.

All the pokemon's faces lit up in delight at the idea. It would make for a wonderful surprise for their human loved ones. Eagerly jobs were divided among themselves. The girls-Hinata, Buneary, and Staravia would take care of the lower level of the lodge. Croagunk, Sudowoodo, and Aipom would take care of the upper floors where the bedrooms were. As for Naruto, Piplup, and Pikachu they would have to go out and brave the storm to find a tree they could all decorate. But my friends this where the insanity, the chaos, the craziness that is Christmas Eve begins.

Naruto, Pikachu, and Piplup braced themselves and headed out into the woods with a mission in mind. A tree they wanted to find, one that would blow their trainers' minds. The winds they howled and they bit with fangs so cold. They searched and they search, still no tree to be found. For the ones they discovered were too small or flimsy or two big all around. They needed one just right, for this most blessed of nights for all to gather around.

"Naruto m-m-maybe we sh-sh-should g-go-g-go home. The storm i-is t-t-too th-thick."Pikachu stuttered from cold.

"I don't feel a thing, I am not cold at all. But then again I was built for it."said Piplup in pride.

"We're not going back until we get that tree. It's not Christmas with out it!"yipped Naruto, his fur just as much ruffled by the wind as Pikachu's. He continued floating on until he crashed into something big, cold, and bushy. Falling head first into the snow, his leg twitching from the shock of it.

"Naruto!"yelped Pikahu and Piplup in worry as they rushed over, quickly trying to pull him out.

"Hey, who the heck crashed into me!?"came a grumble from the bushy, bristly white and green thing.

Pikachu and Piplup flinched as they looked up and noticed the massive Grass/Ice type pokemon that towered over them. Uh oh, oh my what could they do with a pokemon this size!?

They pulled and they pulled.

But that poor ghost fox was stuck as he flailed and cried in that frozen pile of white. The pokemon's name was Abomasnow, a pokemon of ice and snow. But as he looked on at the smaller pokemon that were shaking in fear he sighed and reached out and managed to get the fox pokemon out from the snow.

"Bleh kake! About time...SWEET ARCEUS! GET ME DOWN, GET ME DOWN!"squealled Naruto at seeing who had gotten him out.

Abomasnow calmly turned the ghost fox pokemon around to dangle at his face, "Stop that screaming, I won't hurt you three." The trio instantly shut their mouths and the Frost Tree Pokemon set Naruto down.

"Now tell me why are you all out here in this blizzard?"asked Abomasnow.

Naruto, Pikachu, and Piplup each looked at each other before looking back up at the ice type. Naruto went over and floated up to look the wild pokemon in the eyes.

"We're looking for the perfect Christmas tree to bring back to the lodge us and our friends are staying in."informed Naruto.

"But we're having a rotten time of it."sighed Pikachu in frustration.

"Tell me about it. Now of the trees we found were right."grumbled the penguin pokemon.

Abomasnow got a thoughtful look on his face, a smile of good will and cheer as he eyed the three pokemon. "I think I know just the right tree, I'll even help you take it back."

"Really!?"

"Really, now come along. The storm is clearing up but it won't for long."

With a cheer the gang followed after the massive ice type to a deeper stretch of the forest rich in pine trees. They soon were shown one it was tall and full and strong, perfect for all to gather aroun'. With a huff and a heave the tree came tumbling down. With joy in their eyes and frost on their cheeks the tree was brought back with them to the lodge with help of their new friend, Abomasnow.

The pokemon oo'd and awed as they entered after waving their friend off.
Decorations of silver, gold, red, and green covered everything.
Candles and the fire casting their warm glow.
Everyone had worked hard that was for sure.
Quick as a deerling they got to work, decorating the tree for all that it is worth.
With a hop in his step their was only thing left at last.
A star to make every all so right. With a twist and a twirl
Naruto moved to the top placing the final touch that meant oh so much.
With excitement and delight the pokemon turned out the lights and waited
As the footsteps and voices of awe and shock filled the halls. Their trainers were back.

"Woah look at all this, who set this up?"

"Well I'll be looks like somebody found my decorations from the basement."

"Hey guys look at that tree!"

Naruto and everyone eagerly jumped out to surprise and greet them, running up to their respective trainers and the Prof. in turn. Naruto purred as he was picked up into Ash's arms, petting him between the ears as his and Hinata's jewels glowed a cheerful golden yellow.

"You little scamp, you got everyone together to pull this off didn't you Whispup?"laughed the boy in delight.

"We all did it for you guys! Merry Christmas everyone!"purred Naruto, tails wagging.
