Techna sighed, checking her scanner again they had made there way into the bad part of town, again. It had been three weeks sense they noticed Flora missing, and it was at least a week before that that they last saw her.

They all looked worn and tattered, they had searched the entire town at least five times, very few of them got a decent nights sleep. But of everyone, Helia looked to be in the worst of shape, his hair was a mess, he was jittery from all the caffeine he had been using to 'keep himself on his toes' and his eyes where blood shot, everyone knew he hadn't got a wink of sleep sense the last time he saw Flora. "Does this mean she's dead? Did they kill her? Does your scanner shut off when the person dies?" You could hear the panic in his voice grow, he would give anything just to hold her one last time. Flora was his everything, he needed her around him.

"For the last time Helia, it's technology, it doesn't shut off when she dies." Techna groaned, frustrated at both Helia's constant nagging and the trouble they have been through. "It's just being disrupted by something, maybe a satellite or a spell."

Bloom stepped up behind him, patting his shoulder, her voice just read sadness and compassion, "It's going to be okay, we'll find her, I promise."

"Do you really think she's okay?"

PING

No one could speak as all heads turned to Techna in awe. "Was that- Was that what I think it was?" Stella managed to speak despite the hard situation, she was always so good at that.

PING

"oh my god guys, it is. We have a reading on Flora!" Techna announced as everyone gathered in close. "We have to get a move on it, whatever was stopping the transmission earlier could come back any second. We don't have much time."

Flora slowly blinked her eyes open, looking around with a bit of confusion, the cage was gone, the ropes where gone. There was just the bed and the nightstand in the middle of the room, this made no sense at all. Maybe she was dreaming? That had to be it, right? But it felt to real to be a dream.

She slowly sat up, hoping she could make sense of everything that was going on. There was a folded piece of paper on the night stand that read 'Flora' in cursive across the front of it. "What's this?" Her voice was hushed, as if she thought if she spoke to loud, she would wake up in the cage again. Or wake something else up. She carefully picked it up, opening to read whatever it said inside.

My dear sweet Flora,

You may wonder what is going on, and all I can say is, you've changed me. You showed me kindness, even though I held you prisoner, you showed me that there is no evil in your heart. I used to think everyone was just a bad person, and anything else was just a show they would get something out of. But now I see there are actual good people who are good just to be good.
But I took a dark road to find that about you, not only did I hold you prisoner while I did my research about the time lily, but I did many more horrible things while you where here. I found in my research that the time lily is not a real flower, but, that it's a very delicate piece of someone, it's a piece of you, Flora. Your family has been passing it down in your blood line for years and years, I don't think they even knew. I wanted that power so badly, I took a knife, and stabbed it straight through your heart...*i*'

As Flora read that line, she cringed in pain, she didn't know about that, it wasn't a memory or anything. But as he had mentioned it in his letter, the memory came up in her mind, even if it never really happened.

*i*You probably don't remember, but I do, and I can tell you it was awful. After that, I took the power to travel through time for myself, and with it, I beat your friends, took the dragon flame, and became the ruler of the universe. No one dared speak out against me. But I wasn't happy, there was nothing there for me, all I could think about was you.
I traveled back in time to save your life from myself, before I could even hurt you. I may not be able to travel through time, and I definitely won't win the battles I did, but I'm happy.
Happy knowing you are safe. Don't worry about me, I'll never bug you again. I promise. But if you ever need someone, feel free to call me.

Yours truly,
Baltor

Flora was on the verge of tears, he wasn't a bad guy, just, misunderstood. Her eyes darted up as she could hear someone messing with the door handle. She wiped away the forming tears, shoving the letter in her pocket before the door even opened.

Standing in the door way was a rather dirty man, jittery like a squirrel, if it had twenty cups of coffee. The eyes where slightly sunk in and blood shot, as if they hadn't closed, even for a second in a whole month. His hair was tossled and matted atop his head, her eyes widened slightly as she stood up. "Helia?"

He ran forward, wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her tightly against his chest. She could hear him crying into her hair atop her head, but they where tears of joy. "Flora! I thought you where dead! I thought I would never see you again!"

The rest of them came through the door, all in there Winx form, ready for a fight. Bloom tilted her head to the side, "Where are the people who kidnapped you?"

"There gone Bloom, it's okay." Flora's voice was muffled by Helia's shoulder as she hugged him back.

His eyes drifted, seeing the rug burn on her arms and legs, and all the little cuts. "Who did this? Who hurt you?"

Flora shook her head, "it doesn't matter, they won't come back, I promise, they won't take me again..."

"You should tell me Flora, I want to make them pay for hurting you like this." Helia turned her face up towards his, looking deep into her eyes.

"No," Flora whispered, with another little shake of her head, "you're not violent Helia, and I don't want you to hunt anyone down, okay? C-can we please get some food? I haven't eaten in awhile."

Helia left the subject alone, like she asked him to, "of course, I just, don't want to let you go again." He scooped her up in his arms, carrying her out the door.

"I feel so awful, I said such horrible things about her..." Stella shook her head, watching him carry her away.

"We all did..." Bloom looked down with a sigh, she couldn't even believe half the things they said where actually even said.

"It's a natural reaction to missing person cases, that's what I read online," Techna said, heading toward the door like the thought didn't effect her. "The first step to coming to terms with it, is blaming the victim for going missing. Now let's go, she probably wants to see all her friends after whatever happened in here."

A/N: So... This is it guys! I think I had other plans for this story at some point, but I forgot them, and I thought I should end it. I believe anyone who's been following this deserves an ending. Maybe at some point there will be some kind of sequel thing, but don't hold your hopes up. I hope you guys like it!
