A/N: Holas me amigos, been a long time since I worked on this but seeing as though Razorblade Mistress and I were discussing Mary-Sues the other night I thought it was about time I updated this story. I have only re-read my last chapter so I forget everything that happens before that point and I have not had the time to re-read the manga nor re-watch either the '99 or 2011 version of the anime so I'm just going to make up my own little story plot for these overdo- I mean, lovely characters.

This was not what she had in mind when she joing ethe Hunter Exm. In fact, it was the complete opposite, Mary thought it would be simple and dull of fun adventures. So far she had envountered only boring people and had nothing to show for it except some narly hair. I mean, she had been on this idland for a week trying to find some stupid ass tages.

Letting out a sigh Mary turned to Mika and Gonnie, who both of whm had also not yet been able to find their targets' tags and get the sic points needed to go on to the next phase. Thinkiing up a brilliant plan since they were constrained to only a couple of houses left (this was the last day) Mary held out her hand to the other girls, who looked at her expectantly and waited patiently for their beautiful and fearless leader to speak to them and solve all their problems.

"Give me your tags. We don't hae the time to get all the badges we need, but instead of all of us failing at least one of us can go on, if I have your two badges plus my own I'm already at 5 point and just need none more to go on. So give me your badges and help me find someone else o I can take their badeg and advance."

Mika and Gonnie looked at one another but wihout complaint they presented their badges to Mary and obediently went off to search out potential victims. It was disheartening but neither of the younger girls would say anyting. Mary was write. At least one o f them shoud pass the phas and it was probably best that it was Mary.

Mary was happy. She know had 5 points and with the other two girls doing her work for her it would not be long before she had all 6/ Why had she not thought og this earlier? It was BRILLIANT and just the BEST thing in THE WORLD!

Smiling Mary spun in a little circle andwhen she opened her eyes after she saw that horrendiously beautiful silver headed girl that way Killua's older sister; Alex standing just off to the side with her hands on her shapely hisp.

"Wht do you want?" Mary asked the girl, no longer hiding the venom she felt. Alex showed her pearly white teeth off in a smile.

"You're interesting. With no eff ort you got those girls to do your work for you. Well done. No wonder my brother seems to like you. You would make a wonderful assassin if you had the training." Alex walkd forward until she stood less than 1 inch away from the blonde beauty. It was then Mary saw Alex only looked tall because she was skinny. Mary was taller and she loved the fact.

"If you want to try your hand at killing people, just come to our mountain home nd I will happily teachyou everything you nee to know n order to thrive and make your living in the UnderWorld. Ta-ta." With a little finger wave and a peck on the cheek Alex once again vanished and this time Mary knew she was gone gone and not fake gone lke before.

A few minutes lateer and Mika and Gonnie came tramping back to Mary and presented her with a badge, making it 6 six pints she now had.

"Awesome! I get to move onto the next phase." Just then the announcement was made that everyone who qualified for the next pahse should start making their way to the boat. "And just in time. Catch ya later girls, I have a license to get." Without another word Mary turned away from Gonnie and Mika and Made her way to the boat. Running into Killua, Gon, and the other two boys on her way.

Mary stayed beside Killua as much as possible throughout the rest of the exam until they came to the final phase. As it turned out, her opponent was to be Gon.

"Hiya Gon." Mary said andwaved, putting on a large friendly smile that the green headed boy returned twith gusto.

"Hi Mary!"

"Can you go easy on me Gon? I.m not a really good fighter and I would REALLY REALLY like to get my license.' Sje batted her big blue ees and the village boy softened. "Okay Mary, but just because I go easy doesn't mean I'll let you win. I have to get my license so I can find my dad."

"How sweet Gon.' Mary aid but really was thining what an idiot. Mary knew how t fight. She had taken karate lessons for years and had won every tournament he hd ever entered because she was THAT good. When the gu in the suit told them to start it didn't take Mary long to get behind Gon and put him in a head lock. "Give up Gon or else I'll knock you unconscious."

'Not fair Mary!" He shouted as he tried to use all his strength to escape but Mary just stood their like it was nothing. It took Gon a while bt he finally gave in and let Mary wn the fight. Shte jumped up and down and her shiny blonde hair bobbed aboudt, casting reflections everywhere. Everyone in the room thought she was beautiful young gir.

After that, when the time came for Killua's fight and they discovered Killua's oldest brother had taken part in the exam too…

Mary watched, unsurprised, when the pin head turned into the long haired man she had seen in the airship some time ago. He had been sharing a rom with Hisoka. So that's Killua's rother Mary thought to heerelf, wondering how good of an assassin he was.

When the fight ended and Killua forfeited, Mary thought it was strange but thought nothingmore about it.

Even when Killua came back in and killed that older guy, Mary didn't care to remember his name because she had no interest in him and he had neer even acknowledged her, Mary didn't blink twice. Assassins were people who killed other people so why was everyone so surprised that Killua killed ssomeone n front of others? Mary notived that Gon was pretty upset by it so she went over to pat his back and give him a sympathsizing smile. He smiled back but he stille seemed pretty ticked so Mary just shrgged t off and decided to find somewhere to sleep. T had been a long day and she was tiresd, and besides she ahd already earned her license so there wasn othing more for her to do. Actually, the thought struck Mary, since Killua ahd violated the rules and killed someone that means the tournament was over and they were all officially Hunters now…

With a happy smile and a skip to her set the beautiful blonde haired blue eyes 12 year old set off to find a place to nap before the orientation. SHE HAD FINALLY BECOME A HUNTER! :)

A/N: And ta-da! The Hunter Exam is finally over with. Not sure what I will do from here or if I will ever write another chapter for this story again but you never know what the future will bring. So until next time I look forward to hearing what you all think of the chapter/story.
