Dry Bowser and Toadette were both still in the Bagel Prato as Toadette managed to get all the Tow Tows to attack each other, while Dry Bowser was punching away at the Flibees that were flying out of the bushes. After several minutes, Dry Bowser and Toadette got by each other, both of them panting as they shook their heads.

"Phew... that was a handful..." Toadette admitted as she placed her hands on her stomach. "And it built quite an appetite for me..."

Dry Bowser simply rolled his eyes at Toadette. "Kid, you're always get hungry." He commented as he moved his skeletal hands around.

The Shelltops that were hiding from the action returned, applauding Dry Bowser and Toadette as they were thankful that the troublesome creatures were dealt with.

"Oh, thank you kind strangers!" One of the Shelltops exclaimed as she moved her hands around. "We are grateful to have such great heroes rescue us. Is there anything that you need?"

"There is, actually." Dry Bowser stated as he placed his hands on his skeletal hips. "Do you know where the Bagel King is? He was kidnapped, and we have no whereabouts of where he could be."

The Shelltops looked at each other, murmuring as they chatted with each other, then turning back to Dry Bowser and Toadette.

"Sadly, none of us know," Another Shelltop commented.

"Oh dooby woobies." Toadette frowned as she lowered her arms, shaking her head.

"But... there is a strange looking cave that's just west of here," A third Shelltop added as she stepped forward, explaining to Dry Bowser and Toadette. "It just popped up out of nowhere. None of us know what's in it."

Dry Bowser and Toadette glanced at each other as they blinked.

"You think that could be where the clue is?" Toadette asked, holding her hands together.

Dry Bowser nodded in response as he folded his arms together. "That likely is." He then turned to the Shelltops. "Thanks for the hint. We'll go and check out this cave."

The Shelltops nodded as they waved goodbye to Dry Bowser and Toadette, who both dashed westward to see just what was hiding in the cave. Meanwhile, within the bushes was the shadow thief Popple, a devious smirk appearing on his green face as his yellow eyes widened on his purple mask.

"Hmm... hmm, I say!" Popple chucked as he rubbed his hands together, watching Dry Bowser and Toadette dash away. "Those two slowpoking jokes are looking for something, eh...? Well, we'll just see about that, because I'm gonna get there first, see?"
