Killerninja123: Hope you like it!

Ben POV

We stopped in front of my house. Riley and Abigail quickly ran into the house with the FBI, while Sadusky and I follow them. As soon as they enter the house, the alarms turned on. Riley yelped, while Abigail jumped. I scratch my head. I don't remember either Abigail and I setting up the alarms. Abigail went to the alarm machine and try to put in the code, but the machine was saying: Access denied.

"It's not working!" Abigail shouted. "I always use the same code!"

"Ricky!" Riley hissed. "I think Ricky did this."

"Why is your child this clever?" I asked sarcastically.

"Hey, it's not my fault!" Riley said.

"Just turn off the alarms!"

"Okay, okay!"

Riley got out some of his tools and do his little computer genius work. The alarms were still riming and if this continues to ring, I think I might have to strangle Riley just to go a bit faster! A few minutes later, the alarms were turned off.

Riley sighed. "Ricky used a password that was from our treasure hunting experience. He used the cipher as the security code from the letters of Silence Dogood letters."

I nodded. "Smart kid. I think we told them too much when they were young."

"Oh really?" Abigail said sarcastically as she raised an eyebrow at me.

"Look, I thought it'll be good to know about her own treasure-hunting parents," I protested. "Now let's go upstairs and see of she's in her room."

Abigail, Riley, and I went upstairs, along with the FBI. I prayed to myself, hoping Diana is in her room. As we got there, the room was empty and everything was a mess. The only thing clean was her bed and on top of her bed was a rolled up Declaration of Independence.

"Would she leave it here?" I whispered to myself.

Something is wrong. This doesn't seemed right. Sadusky went over to the document and unrolled it. He checked it back and forth, seeing if it was a fake or not. Then he handed it to one of the men.

"Go to the lab and see if this is a fake." He said.

"How long does it take to know if it's a fake?" I asked.

"If it has the cipher on the back." Sadusky answered. "I wonder what your daughter wanted to be when she grows up."

I sighed. "So do I."

Diana POV

"Stop right here." I said. Ricky stopped the car. There in front of us is a house. Andrew and I got off of the van.

"I'll park the van far away from the house." Ricky said.

I nodded. "Hurry."

Ricky smiled and he drove away. A few minutes later he ran back to us. Then we walked to the front door. We were still in our formal clothing, but I hope they don't mind. The document is in my hands and I just hope they won't get too suspicious of it.

"They're going to kill us." Andrew muttered. "They're going to kill you!"

"Just keep quiet and stay calm." I hissed.

When we got to the door, I rang the doorbell. We hear a grouchy sound that sounded like he's coming. The door flew open. There in front of us was an old bolding man that wears glasses. With him was a woman with short white hair.

I smiled weakly. "Hi Grandpa, Grandma!"

"What are you guys doing here?!" Grandpa cried.

"It's nice to see you too!" I said sarcastically.

"Oh now, Patrick, the kids are just visiting us." Grandma said. "Please come in."

The three of us went inside our grandparent's house. I know this is sort of a bad idea, but we can't do an experiment in a moving van no matter how much the FBI and my parents are after us. Grandma led us to the hallway of the house.

"It better be a good reason." Grandpa added.

"Will you just be kind to them?" Grandma snapped. "They're your grandchildren!"

"I am kind!" Grandpa protested.

Grandma shook her head. "Do you kids want something to eat? We have some leftover pizza, tacos, and burgers."

"We'll eat later, Grandma." Andrew said.

"Yeah, for now, we just need to borrow the living room." Ricky added.

I jab my elbow at Ricky's ribcage.

"Wh-What he means is, we-we're just going to stay here for a few hours and watch some T.V." I explained as I lied. "Just go upstairs Grandma, Grandpa."

"No we're fine." Grandpa said. "I'll be in the kitchen. I need to finish that large canteen of ice-cream anyway."

Grandpa strolled into the kitchen, while Grandma ran after him as she nags at him. We ran into the living room. Andrew quickly takes out the document and place it on the cleared coffee table. The three of us put on our gloves so we won't damage the document. I unzip my backpack and got out some lemons. I took out a small knife and cut the lemons up. Ricky got out a small bowl for the lemon juice, while Andrew got out some Q tips and a blow-dryer.

"What are you doing?" Grandma asked as she sticks her head out of the kitchen, but Grandpa came out.

"Stuff." The three of us answered.

"The thing looks old and familiar." Grandpa said.

I gulped. "It's very old. Came after the Civil War."

Grandpa nodded. "Using lemon, huh? You should stick it into the oven."

"NO!" The three of us shouted together.

Grandpa frowned as he becomes very suspicious.

"It's very delicate." Andrew added. "We can't ruin it."

Grandpa shrugged. "Okay fine by me."

Grandma pulled Grandpa out of the kitchen to finish his ice-cream. I dip the Q tip into the juice. The document was in front of me. Not the back, but the front. I want to do this, but at the same time I shouldn't. I know I'll be ruining a priceless artifact from the Civil War that bring peace to America, but I feel like I'm destroying a thousand years of work!

"If there is a code," Andrew said slowly. "We should spread the juice on the upper right hand corner. That's what Mom told me."

I sighed. "I know, but..."

"Hey, it's okay Diana," Ricky said. "It's the only way to find it. If you stop now, Ian will come and the FBI. We have no choice, but to put some juice on it."

I nodded. "You're right."

Ricky smiled. "I know I am."

"Oh shut up!"

I wipe the top right hand corner of the document. Andrew turned on the blow-dryer and put it on to heat. As the machine blows, in a matter of seconds, numbers appeared. The three of us gasped. We smiled to each other.

"Ricky," I began to say.

"I know." he said. "You'd do the top. I'll do the bottom."

I smiled warmly at him. "Thanks."

Ricky smiled back as he took a Q tip. Ricky and I juiced the document away as Andrew blows. Many more numbers are revealing, even near the names of those who wrote the declaration. I have to say, this is very surprising, but why no one knew about this. I mean, I know that there's a map on the back of the document, but why no one knew about the front? After we juices the document, Andrew wrote down the numbers.

"It's a cipher," Ricky said. "My Dad told me a lot about these. These numbers tell about where to find the codes. The first number is to find the page number, second the paragraph, third the sentence, and fourth the word."

"Wait," I said. "Remember what the riddle said?"

Ricky nodded. "You will find out the answer when you get a chance to read."

I nodded. "I think I know what the last line is talking about. We need to check out a book?"

"What book?" Andrew asked.

"The book!" I answered.

Andrew gasped. "Oh no, we're not going to the Library of Congress to steal it!"

"Steal what?" Grandpa asked as he came into the living room.

Grandma came with him. Grandpa waked over to the coffee table and lift up the paper to see what we have. Grandpa gasped. Even Grandma too. I groaned as I slap my hand on my forehead. We're so dead!

"You stole the Declaration of Independence?!" Grandpa shouted as he glared at Andrew and Ricky.

Right away Andrew and Ricky pointed at me. Grandma gasped at me, while Grandpa was giving me his deadly stares. I chuckled and shifted my feet. This is not going well like I hoped.

"Why, Diana?" Grandpa demanded. "Why did you stole it? To get attention? To find treasure?!"

"Actually, to find treasure." I answered. "But Grandpa, we have a good reason."

"What's the reason, Diana?" Grandpa asked. "What's the reason?"

"Ian Howe Jr." I replied slowly.

Then there was silence.

"Ian Howe?" Grandpa questioned. "You mean that same Ian from many years ago, who tried to destroy the Declaration and kidnaped me?"

Ricky nodded. "Yep, but now we're dealing with him and his son."

Grandpa sighed as he sat down on the couch. Grand ma sat next him as she tried to calm his down. I did expected to be a bit calm, but now it's not. I wonder if Grandpa will let us go or not?

"You know the FBI will come here, right?" Grandpa pointed out.

"We know." I said. "What I'm asking you, are you going to tell Mom and Dad?"

"I have too, since they're you parents!" Grandpa exclaimed.

I smiled. "Good." Then I hand over a note to Grandma. "Make sure they get this only for them, not the FBI. I want Mom and Dad to know where we are. Don't give it to them until they come here the second time."

Grandma nodded. "You have my word."

"Good and do you mind if we do one little thing to you guys?" I asked.

"What?" Grandpa asked uneasily.

Ben POV

The FBI stopped the car. Everyone ran to my parent's house. I think this is the only place where Diana can stop at before she goes off to her hunting. Besides, she loves coming here anyway. The FBI opened the door with their foot. Great, now, Mom will complain about the stain on the door!

"I hope they're here," Abigail muttered. "Or else, I'll kill them!"

"Don't worry!" I said. "How prepare they can be?"

"this is the FBI," Sadusky called out.

"We're in here!" said a muffling voice.

I frowned. "This can't be good."

I know that voice belonged to Dad. Riley, Abigail, and I follow the FBI as we get closer to my Dad's voice. A few minutes later we approach to the cupboard. Sadusky opened the door and there was y mother and father, who were ducked taped together and in front of them was food. Abigail gasped, while Riley was snickering.

"Are you going to untie us?" Dad asked, taking a zip of his drink.
