A/N: Haha! Just barely posted this on a Wednesday! (I'm going off Pacific Standard time) Man, chapter 10 already! I hope you all are well! I'm glad you guys seemed to like the return of Dani! So, I'm just going to warn you now that this chapter is EXTREMELY fluffy. You have been warned.

Lauren H 91: Are you closer to Brooklyn or Montauk (trying not to be creepy and ask where you live)? And I'm going to try to bring Dani back in another funny way, if I can.

r e l: You're welcome!

HemoSongbird: I was barely on time today!

Catmig: You're welcome! Thanks for reading!

SnixxPierce: They should have but what fun would that be? And yeah, Matt and Dani never stood a damn chance!

Glee4ever123: Yeah, there's always a primary and a secondary story and sometimes the secondary story comes out more- but the primary story is STILL the primary story!

And as for the sex thing I totally agree. It's not always super slow and overly romantic- the majority time it isn't, it just sort of happens and is hot and satisfying, which isn't bad.

Chuckleshan: My finals did go well thanks for asking. And again, refer to the previous comment about primary and secondary stories. Also, the story is in real time so yes, about two months.

rg521: You're lucky you don't have to deal with them anymore :P they went well though, thankfully!

M206: Haha sorry? Although the Dani thing made up for it right?

Blueskkies: Thanks :D it was my favorite part of the chapter

Just Another New York City Holiday Romance

A New Yorker's Worst Nightmare

"I'm really glad our friends are getting along now."

"Right? It seems like Rachel has found her new best friend in Kurt."

"Yeah, and I think Blaine has definitely warmed up to you too. Although now I think he's bitter about Puck out drinking him," Brittany chuckled. They continued to walk hand in hand along fifth avenue. Until they ended up where Brittany wanted them to- Rockefeller Center.

"There it is. Isn't beautiful?" Brittany breathed, looking at the giant, famous, overly-decorated Christmas tree," It's still so big. Other things look smaller as you grow older but this tree is still as huge and magical as it was when I first saw it."

"That's adorable B."

"It's one of my favorite things about New York at Christmastime. And ice-skating at the rink here too!"

"You know I've never been ice-skating at Rockefeller Center," Santana commented. She was unprepared when Brittany turned to her with a gasp and wide-eyes.

"You've never been ice-skating at Rockefeller Center?" Brittany clarified.

"Yes?"

"You've lived in Manhattan ALL your life and you've never gone?"

"Uh...yeah?"

"Oh my God, I cannot believe this," Brittany shook her head in disbelief," I go every single year! It's like a New York tradition!"

"Babe it's not a big deal. There are lots of things in New York I haven't done yet."

"Like what?"

"Like all those cliche touristy things..."

"LIKE WHAT?"

"Like...go to the top of the Empire State Building or go to Liberty Island. I've never been to the museum of Natural History...all that stuff."

"B-but why not! I mean yeah those things are cliche but they were so much fun! Sometimes it's nice to act like a tourist."

"It's just not a thing born New Yorkers do. We do what we have to do as quickly as possible. If we don't have to go to the top of the Empire State Building we won't."

"But you're missing out on so much San! You know what, I'm going to take you on a tour of New York City- with me as your tour guide."

"Do I get a discount if I'm sleeping with the tour guide? Because I hear they charge you an arm and a leg for things." Brittany slapped her playfully but answered coyly,

"If the answer is 'yes' does that mean you agree and you'll let me take you on a New York City adventure?"

"Brittany...as much as it goes against everything I was raised to believe in...I will do anything to make you happy."

"Oh my god really? Really really really?" The blonde jumped up and down absolutely giddy with excitement," But I don't want to force you San. I just want you to have fun and if you're only doing this for me then-"

"Hey shh," she cut her off," yes. I am doing this for you but I'm also doing it because the idea of spending the day with you doing fun romantic things sounds amazing."

"Okay, then it's settled, tomorrow we're going to be tourists in New York!...which means I may have to sleepover tonight."

"Oh?" Santana asked happily.

This 'tourist' thing might be the best idea ever.

This tourist thing was the worst idea ever.

Santana didn't know how early it was but she did know it was too damn early for her amazing girlfriend to be shaking her awake.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up! C'mon San!"

"Brittany what the hell!" Santana groaned groggily.

"Let's go! We're going to Tiffany and Co.!"

"But I've been there!" she whined.

"Yes but have you had breakfast there?"

"No...it's a jewelry store why would- oh my god, Breakfast at Tiffany's."

"A revolutionary novel and movie, written by a crazy gay guy. Now c'mon, up up up!"

"But...holy shit Britt it's 5 in the fucking morning!" she screeched after checking the time.

"Yes well we've got a lot to do today." Santana whined and tried to pull the blanket over her head to continue sleeping...until the blanket was completely wretched away. When Santana tried to get up from the shock of being cold (she was naked from their late night activities, after all) she found she couldn't move because Brittany was suddenly on top of her, pinning her arms above her head.

"Britt what are you doing? She continued to struggle but Brittany wasn't even flinching. The blonde leaned down to give Santana a quick peck.

"You're awake now, aren't you?" Santana rolled her eyes but couldn't help but grin.

"Why didn't you tell me you were so strong? Jesus Brittany c'mon let me go!" she said threw her laughter but the blonde wouldn't budge.

"Briiiiitt," Santana whined, switching from trying to move her arms to trying to throw Brittany off using her hips.

"Mmmm San...while having sexy times with you sounds really really great right now..." she trailed in a lower voice. Santana stopped moving and leaned up in a search of Brittany's lips...but suddenly they, and her, were gone,"...we do have a lot to do today. So get your ass out of bed!" Brittany trotted to Santana's closet and the brunette groaned at the sight of her girlfriends naked backside. There were a lot of things she would rather be doing right now.

"I can borrow some clothes right San?" Santana convinced

Oh, yeah. There were a lot of things she would rather been doing.

"Brittany we look ridiculous."

"No, we look hot. Especially me, in your clothes."

"No Britt- well, yes, you do. But I meant us, standing outside of a fine jewelry store eating croissants and drinking coffee!"

"It's fun- and crazy! Now c'mon are you finished? We've got to catch the subway to Battery Park, I got us tickets to the first ferry that leaves for Liberty Island."

"Oh my God...Battery Park? That'll take forever!"

"Saaan no whining now, you agreed to do this with me."

"I know, I know. And I am excited to do this with you. I just need another hour or so to wake up properly."

"Well good because that's probably how long the subway ride will take!"

They boarded the train by Brittany's lead. While Santana 'woke up' Brittany befriended an older couple visiting New York for the first time.

"Yes, it was always a dream of Karl's here to come and we're just now getting the time to visit," the lady, Denise, answered when Brittany asked if t was their first time.

"What about you two, is this your first time?" Karl asked.

"No no. We both live here actually. See, my girlfriend here is a born New Yorker and hasn't gone to any of the tourist places in New York- ever. And I've been here for three years because I fell in love with the city, and I thought it was high time she saw everything New York had to offer."

"Well that's sweet, you two make a beautiful couple," Denise told her with a smile.

"Thank you Denise."

"BATTERY PARK, NEXT STOP," the automated voice said.

"Here," Brittany said, scribbling her phone number onto their subway map," Call if you get lost or want any information."

"Thank you sweetie. See Karl? I told you not all New Yorkers were uptight!"

The subway hissed to a stop.

"It was nice to meet you," Santana said politely, although she hadn't really said anything since the couple got on at ...

"Bye guys- have a nice day!" Brittany chirped as they got off.

"God, I love how you can do that," Santana said, taking Brittany's hand.

"What?"

"Just...make friends with anyone. You're so sweet."

"Aww thanks. Okay now c'mon we've gotta catch the boat!" She reminded her, tugging her along. Santana grinned happily, deciding she was going to make the most of this day.

They got on the ferry and waited awhile until it started off.

"I've always loved the view of Manhattan from the water. It's one of the reasons I like to sail."

"Oh, that's right Mrs. Varsity captain of the sailing team."

"It's really fun Britt! And hard."

"I believe you San."

"I'll take you out one day during the summer, I'm telling you if you like this you'll love sailing." Brittany kinda loved that Santana was certain they'd be together until summer, but she wasn't going to make a big deal of it. There would be more chances for embarrassment later.

"Okay, I would be honored. Look! You can see the Statue of Liberty better now!" Brittany said pointing. Because it was so early in the day not many people were on board, but there were a few.

"Oh damn, it's bigger than I thought," Santana commented as she looked at the green statue.

"Did you know the Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French?"

"Yeah I-"

"She also has a 35-foot waistline. And, she functioned as a lighthouse between the years of 1886-1902 and can be seen from 24 miles away. Oh, and her full name is 'Liberty Enlightening the World.'"

"Ohh-kay, I didn't know any of that," Santana said, impressed and confused as to why Brittany knew all this random information.

"Excuse me sir! Can you take a picture of us please?" the blonde asked a random person,"Okay San, pose like me!" Brittany pretended she was holding a torch like the statue was in the background.

"What no!"

"Do it San!" Santana sighed and followed her direction.

*snap*

"Yay, thank you sir! I brought my good camera so we could document this day- like any normal tourist would."

"Okay fine, you can take pictures but no one but us can see them."

"Fine, deal."

"I'm serious Brittany- especially Puck or Finn, they'd never let me live it down."

"Okay San! I promise!" They got off the ferry and walked around a bit, taking pictures as Brittany commanded.

"So can we go in?" Santana asked.

"Oh, excited now are we?"

"Maybe...I just want the full experience."

"Mhmm, you won't admit it now but at the end of the day you will. C'mon let's go." They went inside and took the elevator to her crown so they could see the view.

"This is so cool!" Santana said, in awe."

"Not so lame now huh?"

"We'll look at this view!"

"Yeah you'll go crazy when we finally get to the Empire State Building."

"When are we doing that?"

"It's our second to last activity."

"...out of how many activity?"

"It's a surprise."

"Oh God."

"Don't worry San, you'll be fine." Santana sighed but nodded. They looked around some more and went to the gift shop though the brunette refused to buy anything. Then they were on their way again.

"See, that wasn't so bad!"

"Yeah I guess not...but that's just because there weren't so many people there."

"Maybe...okay, next: the Natural History Museum!"

"Ugh, really? I understand the draw of the Statue of Liberty but how is a boring old museum fun?"

"Well technically a boring old museum can't be fun- because then it wouldn't be boring."

"I didn't know my girlfriend was such a smart ass," Santana said playfully.

"That's because you're too much of a smart ass to see how snarky I can be."

"Touché."

Another long subway ride coaxed Brittany to sleep. She had a lot of energy but waking up at 5 is hard on anyone so Santana let her use her shoulder as a pillow and kept watch for weird people. The train got more full as it got later in the day and she got a few death glares from older folks when she didn't move for them.

"B, c'mon this is our stop."

"What? Okay, let's go!" And in two seconds flat Brittany Pierce went from peacefully asleep to up and raring. 'How the hell does she do it?' Santana wondered.

"Did you know the Natural History museum opened in 1877. And it has a planetarium and library?"

"Brittany..." Santana chuckled.

"What? It's true! Plus the museum's many collections of research specimens are more than 30 million."

"Oh my God you are like my own personal tour guide. The Statue of Liberty and now here? How do you know all this stuff?"

"Well...ever since I can remember I've wanted to live in New York City. Everything about it drew me in. So, naturally I researched everything I could about it- just for fun. Random facts about the cities most well known attractions, past mayors etc."

"That's actually...really cool Britt. I can't tell you how glad I am you ended up here like you always wanted."

"Sometimes I still can't believe I finally made it here...and having you by my side, right now, makes it feel even more like a dream come true."

Santana felt like she was going to faint from how cute and heartfelt Brittany was being.

"C'mon, we're still making your dreams come true by checking out this fun old museum." Brittany smiled and let Santana lead her to the first exhibit.

"Oooo wolves!" Santana said, looking at the stuffed animals on display.

"Really? You don't even blink at the dinosaur bones or the little miniature civilizations but wolves?"

"What? They're my favorite animals. Pretty, but vicious when they want to be. Plus, wolves are like werewolves and werewolves kill vampire and you know...fuck vampires." Someone to their side looked at them and laughed.

"My girlfriend everybody: the ever quotable Santana Lopez."

They walked around and looked at most of the exhibits into Santana whined,

"Britt I'm hungry!"

"Okay...well, I guess that brings us to our next destination!"

"B, you know I've been to Times Square before- why are we here?"

"Because this is like- the most touristy thing about New York! So, we're going to get some New York City hot dogs, sit on those big red steps and eat them while we people watch.

"Haha, okay B- you're the boss."

"You bet I a-oh my god!"

"What what what is it?" she asked, whipping her head around as Brittany ran off into the crowd,"Brittany! Wait!" she called, running after her.

"Santana we HAVE to buy one for you!"

Santana's eyes widened.

"No, no, nononono!

"Please San! C'mon I'll buy one too," she gasped suddenly," THEN WE CAN MATCH." She held up the ever infamous 'I heart New York' tshirt.

"Brittany I'm a Latina girl in Manhattan. If I wear that I'll get shot."

"It's just a shirt San, half the people you see are wearing them. Plus you'll be wearing a coat over it."

"Putting this shirt on is like putting a target on your back. Literally. Puck and I used to throw food at tourists wearing these shirts."

"Oh my god. That was you?" Brittany asked, completely serious. Santana looked stunned and started to panic.

"No- yes, oh my god if I had known- I am SO sorry-" Brittany suddenly burst out laughing," You were joking," Santana stated rather than asked.

"You should have seen the look on your face. Okay, try this one on. It's a small." She said, holding out a fitted v-neck version of the shirt.

Santana rolled her eyes but stripped to her tank-top and put it on.

"Oh goodie, it fits."

"Mmm, I think you should get an extra small," Brittany suggested. As she looked at the fit of the shirt.

"What? But this one fits perfectly!"

"No, you should definitely get an extra small..." she insisted before biting her lip,"and lose the tank-top too."

"Oh my god! Britt stop staring at my tits!"

"What? That shirt looks really good on you...I'm just saying it would look better if it were a little bit tighter..."

"Your friend is right Miss, go with the extra small," the creepy kiosk owner said. Brittany's eyes narrowed.

"I'm her girlfriend, so you'd better stop leering at mine."

"I'm just telling it like it is," he shrugged. Santana scoffed and Brittany looked like she was about ready to kill the guy.

"Here, creepy ass pervert," Santana, said throwing her money at him and picking up another shirt,"Now let's go Britt. And put this on so we can look like stupid tourists together."

"Yay! Thank you thank you!" Brittany said, kissing her on the cheek for humoring her endlessly,"Now how about those hot dogs?"

Quinn was finishing up a paper when the doorbell rung (she liked to get her homework done a week before it was due- at minimum).

Part of her told her to be lazy and stay in bed instead of putting effort into actually getting up but Quinn's mind almost always won over her heart so she got up with a groan.

Needless to say she was surprised when Rachel was behind her door.

"Rachel?"

"Umm...h-hi. I uh, brought you coffee and donuts from Saintly Baked- your favorite?" she said cautiously.

"Don't you think I could have used a warning?" The blonde said, echoing Rachel's words from when she showed up randomly at Rachel's door.

The brunette visibly winced.

Quinn just grabbed the food from her hands," Come in, then."

With her permission, Rachel slowly walked in and stood inside awkwardly.

"Stop acting so weird Rach, I already licked whipped cream off you."

"...so you weren't drunk enough to forget..." she mumbled.

"Why would I want to forget? I mean, I regret pushing you but you've got to admit, that was pretty hot."

"Umm...r-right..." she coughed. Quinn rolled her eyes.

"So what can I do for you?"

"I came to tell you that...I've stopped lying to myself and..."

"And?"

"And I do have feelings for you. Strong, romantic feelings that I've hid for awhile," she bowed her head nervously," I like you a lot Quinn."

The blonde smiled at the girls admittance and she went over to hug the smaller girl before she tilted her chin up to place a chaste kiss on her lips.

"See? That wasn't so tough was it?" Rachel looked up at her still in shock from the kiss.

"N-o, I guess not," she stuttered.

"Now why couldn't you tell me any of that before?"

"Because...I was afraid. I didn't want to let you down."

"Well, you wouldn't have let me down as long as you told me the truth. But I'm glad the truth was you like me back."

"Yeah, me too," she smiled.

"So what finally made you come to your senses?"

"It's not really a 'what' so much as a 'who'."

Suddenly there was about five feet of space between them as Quinn let her go and backed up.

"What do you mean a 'who'?"

"No no not like that! Okay, I guess I should just explain that...I told Santana about my feelings for you a long time ago."

"And she didn't tell me? Please."

"I asked and pleaded for her not to, because I still needed to figure everything out on my own."

"Okay..." Quinn said, obviously thinking about the situation.

"Are you...mad I told her?"

"Honestly, no. Not at all. I'm just happy that everything is out in the open and we finally know how the other feels."

"Me too but...where do we go from here?"

"Well...I was thinking I could take you out on a date sometime. Like, Friday night?"

"Well, you never did like to waste time."

"You know me so well."

"So what's next on the list?"

"We're going to do one of the most cliche romantic things Manhattan has to offer!"

"Which is...?"

"Renting a boat and rowing around in Central Park."

"You know, that's actually something I've always wanted to do but have never gotten the chance to do."

"Why not?"

"You really want to know?"

"I guess," Brittany shrugged.

"Uhh, I planned it as a date for my ex-girlfriend but when I told her the plan she was so...overwhelmed by the gesture that we didn't uhh...make it out of her house...or her bed."

"Oh," Brittany said, a blank look on her face as she tried to get the image of her girlfriend and some random girl out of her head.

"C'mon Britt it's no big deal. Don't be mad. You asked and I tried to keep the description PG."

"I'm not mad. It doesn't bother me."

"If it doesn't bother you why are you being short with me and why do you look pissed?"

"Santana I'm fine!" She snapped before smiling again (although it seemed a touch forced)," Now let's go rent a boat."

"You guys have an hour, you must be seen at all times. No standing in the boat, no jumping out of the boat. You are number 8, when you're number is called come back," the worker explained,"Have fun out there!"

Brittany helped Santana into the boat wordlessly before pushing it off the shore and jumping in herself. It was still silent as Brittany rowed to the opposite side of the little lake and Santana just watched her- wondering what her mind was churning up.

"Brittany, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you even if you did ask. Now I feel like I ruined the rest of the day and we were having so much- what are you doing?" Santana asked quickly when Brittany put the oars down and carefully crawled to her side of the boat.

"Making out with my girlfriend," she said simply before closing the distance between their lips,"...and maybe a little more if I'm lucky," she finished before slipping her hand underneath Santana's new shirt.

"Wow...okay we're really doing this..." Santana shuddered, before bucking her hips hard when the blonde reached into her pants and cupped her bare sex.

"Brittany!" she yelped, when Brittany pushed her underwear inside and thrust a finger inside her while attacking her neck with kisses.

"Oh- oh my God, Brittany! Don't tip the boat over!" Santana yelled, trying to concentrate on her words as the boat rocked violently.

"It won't tip over if you stop moving so much, babe." She sucked hard at her pulse point.

"Well, that's kind of hard when you're-OOHHH!" she moaned loudly when Brittany increased her pace.

"Th-there are people around though- fuck."

"Do you really care when I'm fucking you this good?" Brittany asked, adding another finger and pressing down on her clit.

"No, no, no, I don't," Santana chanted," FUCK don't stop Britt!" she tried her hardest to keep still and keep quiet which proved even harder to do when Brittany's magical fingers brought her quickly to orgasm.

"Holy shit..." Santana breathed.

"Holy shit is right," Brittany smirked deviously. She pulled her hand back only to lick her fingers clean.

"I was just fucked in public, on a boat," Santana said, dazed," How much time do we have left?"

"About 40 minutes."

"Great...it'll give me time...to catch my breath," she panted.

When their number was called back Brittany happily rowed back, her smirk still firmly in place.

Santana's legs gave her trouble as she got back on dry land.

"Were you alright out there ladies? I saw a small period of time where your boat was rocking. You were about two seconds away from tipping the boat and getting soaked," the worker informed them as he took the boat back.

"We were fine, thank you sir," Brittany answered for them before they left.

"Believe me, after that ride I am soaked..." Santana mumbled so only Brittany could hear, who grinned wider.

"Good, now whenever you think about these boats you'll think of me instead of your stupid ex-girlfriend."

"I knew it bothered you!"

"It doesn't anymore though," Brittany said, skipping happily ahead,"Now c'mon, I want to get to Rockefeller Center before dark."

Santana just laughed before skipping after her...well, as best she could at least.

"Hey, if you're my hot tour guide does that mean you come with a sexy uniform?" Santana commented off-handily as she struggled to tie her ice-skates on.

"What, this awesome t-shirt doesn't count?"

"Not if I'm wearing a matching one!" Santana huffed, frustrated at the fact that she couldn't seem to tie her shoes right.

"Need some help there honey?"

"No!...maybe...please?" she asked, slightly ashamed.

"How long has it been since you've gone ice-skating?" Brittany asked, bending down to tie her shoes.

"You were right, these shirts do accentuate boobs really nicely," Santana commented as she stared down her shirt.

"Hey! Answer my question!" she snapped.

"What question? Oh, right ummm...I don't know, since I was 10?"

"You haven't gone in seven years?" for someone who had everything, Santana had been missing out on a lot.

"Or more, so DON'T make fun of me because I suck complete ass at ice-skating."

"Oh, don't worry sweetie. I won't."

"Alright, c'mon let's do this!" Santana announced determined. As soon as she stood up though she almost fell down. She would've if Brittany hadn't caught her.

"Maybe you should take it slow?" Brittany suggested.

"Yeah, okay. Slow is okay."

As soon as they made it to the rink Brittany got onto the ice with ease and started doing a bunch of little tricks to 'warm up'.

"San! Come on!" she said, gesturing for her to come join her. Santana was still holding onto the railing, not on the ice.

"Do you always move gracefully?" Santana asked.

"San, stop changing the subject- here, take my hand."

"No Britt, I'm gonna fall."

"Then I'll catch you."

"No you won't. With our combined weight and the lack of friction on the ice we'll both fall if I do. The physics doesn't lie."

"Do you always have to be so smart? Now c'mon! Stop being a wimp and skate to me!" she commanded. Santana took a deep breath before stepping onto the ice with one foot.

"Alright, you're halfway there!" Brittany cheered her on. Santana stepped onto the ice and...didn't fall.

"Hey this isn't so- SHIT, Brittany!" she yelled as she started to wobble and go down.

"Woah woah woah I've got you!" Brittany assured her, skating over to catch her. With her dancer skills she turned Santana around and let her own body take their fall as they came crashing down.

"Okay, so you were right about the physics...and how much you suck," Brittany chuckled, letting her now she was okay.

"And I was also right about you being graceful at everything you do...you're even graceful when you fall."

"It's a learned skill- just like ice-skating, and I will teach it to you!"

"Okay...just make sure my face doesn't get damaged. That's the money maker. Wait no, don't let my boobs get damaged...but my legs are really nice too..."

"Santana, every part of you is the best part of you, and you'll be fine! Now take my hand."

Santana let Brittany teach her and she started to get a hang of it in no time.

"See! You're a fast learner- now I'm going to let go."

"Wait, no- what? Brittany!" Santana stood still as a rock when Brittany let her go and skated backwards to get away from her.

"Come back here! Britt I swear if you don't I'll-"

"What? Stand there?"

"Brittany...please come back?" she whined. She whipped her head around to follow the blondes movements as she literally skated circles around her, before stopping ten feet in front of her.

"C'mon, just skate to me and I promise I won't let you go for the rest of the night."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Santana closed her eyes to concentrate before opening them and focusing on Brittany. Then she slowly started to skate towards her.

"See! You're totally doing it!" Brittany said, jumping up and down,"You're almost there San!"

She was actually doing really well. She was only a couple feet from her girlfriend when someone screamed...

"Oh my God is that Santana Lopez?" and she fell into Brittany before quickly steadying herself, wondering who the hell recognized her.

"Holy SHIT it is her!" It was a group of about three guys, pointing at them.

"Who are those people San?" Brittany asked.

"Just some sophomores from my school," Santana informed her, she did not want to deal with this right now.

"What the hell is she wearing under her coat?"

"Why is she here? Totally doesn't seem like her venue."

"Yeah, especially because she apparently sucks at skating."

Just as Snix was about to make an appearance Brittany stepped in.

"Hey! Step off my girlfriend. She's doing this tourist crap to please me. Why the hell are you guys here?"

They stayed silent and Brittany kept going,

"Yeah, that's what I thought. And hey! You know what she's getting tonight in exchange for humoring me? She's going to get her brains fucked out, which is more then you guys are getting."

"S-sorry," the one in the middle said.

"What are you guys still doing here? Leave!" Brittany barked and they scrambled away.

"I'll deal with all of you on Monday!" Santana called after them," Thanks for defending me Britt," she said, giving her a gratifying kiss.

"Anytime, it's part of the job."

"Okay, after I get better can you teach me some of your cool tricks."

"Haha sure? Do you just want to look as cool as me?"

"No, I just know that Quinn hasn't gone skating since I have and she hates losing. Especially to me."

"You are so devious..." Brittany laughed before getting serious,"Alright, first we'll start with skating backwards."

"So now it's time for the infamous Empire State Building huh?"

"Yup! And I think the view is so much cooler at night!" Since it was later in the day there weren't a lot of people- almost none at all.

"So what can you tell me about the Empire State Building, miss tour guide?"

"It is 1,454 feet tall and people who get married at the top on valentine's day join a special wedding club...and they get free admission every valentine's day!"

"That's kind of cool, I didn't know you could just get married there if you wanted."

"Actually you have to submit an application telling them why you think you should get married there and they pick people based on style and originality."

"Hmm...maybe if the view is as amazing as you say it is I'll get married there to the person I love," Santana commented as she stared at Brittany.

"Yeah, it'd be an amazing place to get married."

"And it's not like we're short on originality and style," Santana snorted. Brittany turned to her and gave her a curious look.

"We?" she clarified. Santana started internally panicking as she realized her slip up.

"I...I mean, yeah, I just meant- the two of us, separately, have a lot of originality and style. As individuals. I wasn't talking about our wedding. N-not that it wouldn't be nice to be married to you. Wait- Oh my god..." Santana rambled before deciding she should just shut up and bury her face in her hands.

Brittany just chuckled and pulled her hands away from her face.

"Don't worry San, I know what you meant," she assured her. Santana swallowed...

...because she was actually picturing her and Brittany getting married when she said that.

The elevator ride was quiet, except for the family and couple that were in there with them.

Santana was shaking her head at herself while Brittany just grinned at her reaction.

"Don't sweat it San..." the blonde said taking her hand when the doors opened.

"Look at how pretty it is up here."

All of a sudden Santana forgot how stupid she was being when she saw all of Manhattan stretched out at either side. The dazzling city lights sparking beneath them, almost a mile away.

"Wow..." was all she could say.

"Better then the view from Liberty island, huh?"

"Uh-huh," she nodded in agreement as she continued to look out.

"You know you could probably see my apartment building from here- and yours if we had good enough eyes."

"Look it's the flatiron building!" she said pointing down to where the triangular shaped building cut into 5th Avenue.

"Yeah, and if you over to the side with the Chrysler building..." Brittany guided her to the other side," You can see the light emanating from Times Square!"

"Damn, that's bright."

Suddenly their were gasps and screams around them and the couple turned around to see a man going down on one knee in front of a women who was already crying.

"Oh my god San he's proposing!" Brittany whispered giddily into her ear. Everyone on the observation deck watched and eavesdropped.

"Emma, I've only known you for a month- but my heart has told me from the second I laid eyes on you that you are the only one for me. Emma Pillsbury, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Everyone watched in suspense for the redhead, big-eyed lady to give him her answer.

"Oh my God yes! Yes Will I will marry you!" He sprung up to hug her and everyone clapped in congratulations.

"Well that was sweet and romantic," Brittany commented.

"Wow, one month and they're already getting married."

"You think it'll work out for them?"

Santana looked lovingly into Brittany's cool blue eyes,

"I hope it does," Santana said truthfully. Brittany looked back at her, making direct eye contact before saying,

"You know...I bet it wouldn't be so bad, marrying you up here...but don't get any crazy ideas- I'm not getting married till I'm at least 30."

Santana blinked at her, surprised. But when the surprise faded, she found herself feeling happy instead of nervous or anxious.

"Don't worry, I won't...and I don't think it would be so bad either."

"So we're walking back to Central Park?...in the dark?" Santana asked. After they had gone to the Empire State Building Brittany announced they were going back to the park for the third time that day.

With all this back and forth Santana decided she was mapping out their next adventure...because she really hoped they could go on another adventure.

"What, you don't know karate? I though your parents would've put you through something like that."

"Their exact words were,'you get to choose between a maid and a bodyguard.' I chose the maid and became best friends with Puck and Finn."

"Ah, smart girl. And don't worry, I'll protect you."

"But what if-"

"Look San! It's starting to snow!" Brittany noticed the small white flakes fall.

"Did you plan this?" Santana asked, looking up at the snow incredulously.

"No, but it seems like someone planned it just for us, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, it does..."

"Just perfect," Brittany said, looking up at it joyfully. Santana wished she could just stay here forever, with that look on Brittany's face.

"I love you."

She didn't think anyone's head could snap down so fast if it's own accord.

"W-what?"

"I-I love you," Santana repeated. She thought that this was the perfect moment to tell Brittany what she had been hiding for awhile now. But, like her mind told her heart, Brittany obviously didn't return the feeling. Oh GOD, she had said the 'L' word to fast. And Brittany still hadn't said anything. She felt nauseous, she felt physically I'll, she felt like-

"I love you too."

The luckiest girl in the world.

"R-really?" Santana asked, wondering if she had just imagined it in her head.

"Yes, really!" Brittany laughed, though she was equally as nervous," I've known for awhile now I just didn't know if you thought it was too fast."

"Me too! Wow...I feel..."

"Amazing?" Brittany offered.

"Even better. WAY better."

"Well good, because that's how I feel too," Brittany said before kissing her sweetly. Although the kiss was short because neither of them could stop smiling.

"So, my love, what's this final activity you've prepared? And, for the record, you were right. This was the best day ever," Brittany blushed and not just because of the cold,

"Of course I was right...Well...here it is, the peace de resistant!"

"Wait, do you mean 'pièce de résistance'?"

"Yes, that, and look- your chariot awaits!" Santana was stunned to see an actual chariot, okay it was a carriage but she was expecting a car or something.

"Awww, a horse drawn carriage in Central Park as the snow falls- how romantic," Santana swooned.

"Of course, nothing less for the girl I love."

"You guys in or out?" the carriage driver said. He (and his two horses) wore Santa hats but he didn't look so cheerful.

They hoped into the carriage and copied up next to each other before it started moving.

"So have you ever ride in one of these before?" Brittany asked.

"Nope this is my first time...and it's pretty awesome, especially because I'm with you."

"You know as awesome as this is I don't think it's going to be the final activity for the night..."

"Oh? What other activities do you have planned?" Brittany smirked before leaning in to whisper,

"How about making love all night long?"

Santana gasped lightly before turning away from Brittany to yell at the driver,

"How much money would it take for you to drive this thing as fast as you can to the Upper East Side?"
