Chapter 10

Shizune's POV

Shizune was sitting next to Tsunade-sama's comatose body. She was worried, and wanted her to wake up soon. She closed her eyes and bowed her head a little bit, praying to whatever god would hear their prayers now. Thinking of whatever God might hear them, she instantly thought of the recent attack, Pain turning the Hidden Leaf into a big crater. She clenched Tsunade's hand and continued to pray for her to wake up, and soon. The Elric brothers have been in the village for several days now, and Danzo has been up to absolutely no good.

Tonton, the pet pig she keeps around waddled up to her and sat in Tsunade's lap. She smiled and felt a gentle squeeze on her hand.

"S-Shizune…" She heard. She quickly lifted her head and saw the familiar sleepy face of Tsunade opening her eyes and looking young again. She smiled and continued to hold her hand.

"Tsunade-sama!" She exclaimed. "Someone! Anyone! Get word out! Tsunade-sama has awakened!" She yelled and she immediately heard footsteps running away from the medic tent she was being held at.

"Quick, Shizune… Tell me what has been happening since I blacked out. I want to know who the new Hokage is and who has been here and left since then. Now." She said as she started to sit up and regenerate back into her young self, the diamond seal in her forehead now returning.

"Yes ma'am!" Shizune exclaimed. Thank goodness you are ok… Tsunade-sama… She thought to herself and began giving her a run down of what has happened.

"Danzo huh…" She said, standing up, drinking the tea pre-prepared by Shizune. "We'll have to do something about that, now won't we?" She asked with a smirk appearing on her face and she stood up and looked over at Shizune.

"Yes ma'am!" She said and bowed her head, and rushed out of the tent, leaving Tsunade to herself.

Tsunade's POV

She sat across the table from the bandaged-up Danzo with a smirk on her face. Hearing the situation, he was no longer in power no matter what she did. He was a temporary replacement until she got better. He cleared his throat.

"Good to see you better, Slug Princess." He started out with. "To be blunt and honest, I didn't think you were going to recover this miraculously." He continued. "I assume you wish your title back?"

"Thank you for the warm welcome back Danzo. And yes, I understand how this is a little bit of a surprise. I'm surprised myself. And yes, I would like the position back, so if you could resign, that would be great." She said.

"I can't do that." He said. She blinked and tilted her head to the left ever so slightly.

"And why is that?" She asked.

"There is some business I need to take care of." He said in return.

"Ok, allow me to make myself perfectly clear, even for you. You can either resign now in the condition that you are in, or resign after several weeks in a coma." She said and raised an eyebrow. "I'm not a patient woman Danzo, make your choice." She said sternly. He raised his one good hand and nodded.

"Very well Tsunade, I understand." He said and got up, leaving the Hokage office. Tsunade watched him leave and felt better now that he was gone. She reclaimed her seat behind the desk and sighed with satisfaction.

Danzo's POV

"That Tsunade… I thought she was going to be out longer than that…" Danzo grumbled to himself.

"What would you like for us to do sir?" An ANBU member asked. Danzo then looked over at him and slightly smirked.

"Watch over the slug princess. Not only that, watch Sai and those Elric brothers more. Has that scarred man been found yet?" He asked.

"No sir, we are still searching." He said.

"Hurry and find him. He may be a use to us." He said and returned to paperwork. "Also, keep and eye on Mitarashi. Seems she's the guardian for those two." He commanded and in a blink of an eye, he was alone.

Anko's POV

"Eh?! Really? She's awake?" She exclaimed to herself, looking at the hawk soaring the sky above her home. She nodded in response and the hawk left.

"Is who awake Anko-san?" She heard Alphonse ask.

"Lady Hokage is. She's requesting an audience with me, but I can't leave you two with Ed in that condition." She said. She looked at the ceiling. It's been about a week since they've sent the letter; there has still been no sign of the mechanic coming. She heard a knock on her door and walked over with a knife in her hand, at the ready. She quickly opened the door and was ready to stab whoever was there. She saw Naruto standing there with a surprised look on his face.

"A-Anko-sensei… Good morning…" He said. Anko smiled and lowered her stance and looked at him.

"Naruto. Perfect timing. What's up?" She asked and smiled.

"The gate guys have a message for you." He said.

"Perfect. I thought so. I need you to sit and wait here with the Elrics. Watch them. Make sure they don't do something unusually stupid." She said.

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN HUH?!" Shouted the shrimp. Alphonse was holding him down on the couch where he was resting. Anko glared at him with eyes narrowed.

"When you are repaired and mended back to health then you can throw a fuss, but right now you have no freaking room to talk!" She said. "What them?" She said looking at Naruto.

"Yea, no problem." He said and with that she left.

Naruto's POV

The curiosity was killing him. Seeing Ed with only one arm was freaking him out and he was just overall wondering how the hell that worked. He wondered if it was some sort of jutsu.

"Hey Ed..." He started.

"Don't even try to ask Naruto. I know what your thinking." He said. "You wanna know about my arm, and why Alphonse is only a hollow armor." He said and Naruto nodded. He sat down and listened to their story and lowered his head when they were done.

"You guys have been through a lot…" He said and they both nodded. "To have your parents taken away from you… I can't even imagine how that would feel." He said.

"Where are your parents Naruto?" Alphonse asked.

"My parents died the day I was born." Naruto responded.

"How?" Ed asked, practically at the edge of his seat. It was now Naruto's turn to explain his story. The nine tails attacking the village… The Forth Hokage whom was Naruto's father sealing it into him… His father dying after sealing the nine tails and planting his chakra into him so he could come in a time of extreme need. When he looked up after he was done, their faces were blank, and they were speechless.

"That's pretty rough too…" Ed said.

"But, it was all worth it. If he didn't do what he did, the fox would have destroyed the entire village… and possibly more…" He said.

"What does it look like?" Al asked and Naruto blinked a few times.

"Uh… Well… it's a gigantic fox with nine tails, and red eyes." Naruto said, describing it the best he can.

"Hm…" Al said and seemed to be thinking. What he was thinking about, he didn't know. "So, Ed and I have been wondering, how do you guys do all that crazy stuff?" He asked.

"Crazy stuff?" Naruto asked, a little confused.

"We mean, how do you create copies of yourself and walk on water and stuff?"

"It's common around here. I know you guys have Alchemy or whatever but you've never heard of ninjutsu?" He asked.

"Nope. How does it work?"

"Ugh… I'm not the best person to explain that…"

"Well who is?"

"Ask a Jonin. They would know that subject inside and out. Or a Chunin." He said and they tilted their heads in confusion. "Uh… sorry. There are several ranks of ninja's that is common to every nation and village. Genin is a lower class ninja, that's me for right now. Chunin is a middle class ninja, and that would be pretty much anyone you see around my age group. To move from one class to another you have to take an exam. A Jonin is a high classed ninja, those are the sensei's. Anko is a former ANBU current Jonin. ANBU Black Ops are the secret security for the Hokage and elders. They are like assassins in a way, and highest class most ninja's can get to. The highest anyone can get period is Hokage, and that's who Granny Tsunade is." He said.

"Who is she anyway?" Ed asked and Naruto shrugged.

"I don't know a lot about her past." He said.
"So, when do we get to meet her?" Al asked.

"After Ed is repaired." Naruto said and as soon as that happened, a blond girl with a tool box walked in with Anko and a very muscular guy standing behind both of them.

Ed's POV

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY AUTOMAIL?!" He heard Winry screech as she reached for a wrench. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" She yelled against and threw the wrench at him, and nailed him right in the forehead.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME OR WHAT?!" He yelled back.

"I SHOULD AFTER SEEING MY PRECIOUS AUTOMAIL IN RUINS LIKE THIS!" She yelled then sighed. "What in the world have you two been doing?" She asked.

"Nothing…" He said. And Winry made a face that he couldn't tell was sadness or frustration. The less she knew the better…

"Fine… It'll take me a few days to get this fixed."

"That's fine, I need to go see what Lady Hokage needs." Anko said and looked at Alex Armstrong. "I'll be back in a little bit, watch after them for me?" She asked and Armstrong nodded. "Naruto, Hinata was waiting for you outside Ichiraku…" She said and Naruto's face went white.

"GAH! OUR DATE!" He said and ran out the door faster than Winry did when they went to rush valley.

"Who's Hinata?" Ed asked.

"She's a Hyuuga." Anko said in return and Ed tilted his head in confusion. So many terms around this place… It was making his head hurt. Anko sighed and walked upstairs and came back down with a few books. "Here, read these so you're caught up in everything and not asking stupid questions." She said and placed the books on his lap.

"Yes! Books!" Ed exclaimed. "Alright, go ahead to your meeting." He said and sat in the chair and opened up a book started reading.

"We learn best book wise…" Al explained.

"Alright then, I shouldn't be long." She said and walked out, leaving Winry to her work on his arm and Ed happily reading like it was Christmas.

Hi guys! So you guys voted that Roy would win, I personally think Anko would, because keep in mind she WAS trained under Orochimaru, and she does know his hidden techniques and if you look it up she does know some water style techniques to drench Roy, but that's just me.

ANYWAY, next chapter shall be from Lunas and we will resume our normal scheduling. Glad you guys like the story so far! And hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, even though nothing really happened in it. That's how its going to be for a few more chapters, and then more action. (hehe)
