~~~Drew's PoV~~~

"Oh thank you" Nikki said giggling. I rolled my eyes then turned around. We had just arrived in Hearthome city and already boys were flirting with her. Not that I cared it was just that it got rather annoying.

"Drew?"

I turned back around only to see Nikki. How long had I been thinking? She smiled then tugged on my arm, "come on we've got training to do." I couldn't help but smile. She was so happy almost all the time.

Nikki fell to the ground breathing hard, "that was….some training!" I leaned down next to her breathing just as hard and said, "I ….must admit I've never….trained like that!" We had just spent the past three hours exercising with our pokemon and they looked just as tired as us.

"Everyone Return!"

We sighed then both fell down on our backs. "Aren't you worried grass is going to get you hair." Nikki said laughing a bit. "Aren't you?" I replied back with a smirk. We looked at each other for a moment then both sat up and laughed. "looks like we're both worried!" she said. "I only sat up because you did." I said then flipped my hair.

"Ok that's it!"

She tackled me down and smiled, "prepare for the ultimate grass shampoo" she said, "although your hair is already green enough." "You know you love my green hair!" I said with a smirk causing her to blush. "I do not!" she said. "That's not what you said in your sleep last night!" I said then began mocking her, "OH DREW I LOVE YOUR HAIR. OH DREW YOUR SO CUTE. OH DREW I LO-." "Ok you can stop there I know I didn't say that!" she said. I laughed so hard my stomach started to hurt and after awhile Nikki joined in. pretty soon the laughing died down and I heard her yawn. I looked over at her and she was curled in a ball asleep. I smiled then picked her up and began walking to the hotel.

~~~Nikki's PoV~~~

I moaned then rolled over.

What happened? The last thing I remember I was laughing with Drew.

I sat up then looked around. For sure I knew I was lying in a hotel bed. "Did Drew carry me all the way here?" I said accidentally saying my thoughts aloud. "Yeah I did." A voice called out. I looked over and saw Drew lying in the bed next to me looking at the ceiling, "You just crashed all of a sudden. You were knocked out cold." His emerald eyes turned to me and I was lucky that it was dark enough he couldn't see my red face. "Well thank you I guess I was more tired than I thought." "No problem" he said getting up and sitting next to me.

Her blue eyes were so amazing in the dark. I never really noticed how beautiful they really were but there was something, something so different about them tonight. I leaned in closer to her and her eyes widened. "Uh D-Drew what are you looking at me like that for?" she said. I moved closer so that now that even she even said a word our lips would touch. Her eyes closed then so did mine……
