A Banquet with a Sour Ending
Previously on Naruto Uzumaki: Ultimate Chef,
"Kyodaina Kurōn Bakuhatsu (Colossal Great Clone Explosion). Just a trick up my sleeve and your kind deserve only the best." Naruto emerged, walking through the smoke of the explosion. "And your little game of playing possum is already old! Get it over with!" Just as Naruto shouted off, he shifted his arm to tense and block a punch that came out of nowhere.
Since the blonde blocked that punch, Naruto was also able to grasp the monkey arm and send Bambina over his shoulder and into the ground. But Bambina didn't look too happy about his lose, judging by the frown that stuck there like glue. And the man-sized monkey didn't move from his posture on the ground until he slammed his fist onto the ground.
And the cracks that followed, raced along the ground at almost sonic speeds. All the way to the burrow that housed the Konoha Shinobi, causing a geyser like eruption. The Shinobi were sent out of the ground like corn fresh out of a popper. But Naruto didn't move a muscle, he didn't need to since every single Shinobi was able to land gracefully on the ground.
"Those are my playmates Bambina, you don't need any more meat today. Now will you please return to your kingdom?" Naruto talked down on the fallen Bambina, until the man-sized monkey cracked an insane smile before disappearing in a blur. Nobody saw it for themselves but the sounds of something landing hard on the ground was heard over and over again.
"And that is why he is the 'Problem Child' of them all." Naruto muttered before sensing the looks that were directed at his back. "I know, I know. You have another shitload of questions but I had enough of the Gourmet World for today." With that said, Naruto whistled at the sky; and a certain giant owl appeared on the ground after shifting his light reflective feathers.
And just as Naruto was going to hop on his hunting partner, he turned to the awestricken Shinobi. "You coming?" That was all the blonde said and the Shinobi of Konoha were glad to get this long day finished at last.
"Just what the hell was that fucking ape?" Kiba felt the need to answer the elephant in the vicinity; the creature that made Naruto on full alert unlike the rest of the dangers that nearly killed the Konoha Shinobi.
"He has a name, Bambina, Kiba." Naruto asked promptly. "Although I still think its silly to keep her name as his own." That was mumbled under his breath which confused his audience a bit. "But as for what he is, you better listen because I am not repeating myself. Got it?"
Everyone took in a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, as the Gourmet World takes up seventy percent of the planet's land mass, it is too large to be a single country. In fact, the Gourmet World is divided into eight large areas. Each is ruled by one of the Eight Kings, the eight most powerful creatures to walk this earth. Bambina is one of them, the ruler of Area 7, the En-Ō (Monkey King) and the Hachi-Ō no Mondaiji (Problem Child of the Eight Kings)."
"Problem Child, like what he did back there?" Kakashi was always the one to look at the situation through the eyes of a strategist, the best he could by the way. Naruto shrugged,
"No that was a little unusual and I serious thought that he won't bother coming all that way just for a rematch." Naruto then hardened his look and then something moved through the feathers of the large owl, pressing into his chest. This got everyone's attention as Naruto's face didn't even twitch. "He did say that he wanted to 'make sure of something' and I should have known better."
Naruto then grasped what was hidden in his chest. Everyone was shocked to see a small monkey that vastly like Bambina! But this one was rather timid, similar to Hinata, and refused to take its face off of Naruto's chest. "Please, if he left you with me then let me see why." Naruto said to the little monkey and added a little more force to pry it off, with its face in plain view. And Naruto's eyes showed that he understood the circumstances perfectly. "So that's why."
"What?" Everyone found themselves speaking in unison and Naruto decided to be the prankster they remember and spun around the little monkey, revealing its face to everyone. For being a monkey, this was the face of a human goddess. Yet the monkey hid it in its hands and started to cry. "What did we do?" For a group with no practice, they were really good at speaking at once.
"This monkey is no orphan but has been alone all her life. And the thing she hated the most was what every other ape in Area Seven hated about her; her face." Naruto answered a question that was not spoken out loud. "She is a female member of the same race as Bambina, the Monkey King. His…daughter if you prefer." Then came the hurricane.
"WHAT!? Why the hell are you with that monster's kid, Naruto!?" This scared the little ape even more, causing her to hide behind the blonde as if he was her big brother.
"I wish you guys will knock that off." Naruto said with a clear irritation that rippled the air around him, and his audience remembered that he took on the Monkey King as an equal; the same one that leveled an entire Gourmet World Forest with a single swipe of his tail. "And to answer your question, it was the real reason he chased me down to the Underground Forest. He wants me to take his daughter into the Human World, until she is strong enough to return to Area Seven."
"If she is the Monkey King's daughter, won't she be treated like royalty in her father's territory?" Kurenai asked but Naruto shook his head with regrettable negativity.
"I hate to repeat myself but I will say it again anyways." Naruto directed the attention back to the small ape who settled in Naruto's arms. "To us humans, it makes sense that she will be beloved as a princess among the apes of Area Seven, especially with a gentle nature and a beautiful face. But the female species of Bambina don't have such appearances; their faces match more of rugged men down on their luck."
If Naruto wasn't speaking with a straight face and sounding so sincere, that would not have been believable. "To top it all off, the apes of Area Seven were attracted to how Bambina's mate looked and when his daughter was born, they were expecting something of the type. Let's just say that their disappointment led to discrimination, a violent one the least."
Everyone then looked down on the little female ape who started to shake and whimper, as if she was having a nightmare. She was scared and vulnerable, two words that didn't match her father at all. That much was enough to make everyone swallow their words and feel their hearts shatter at the sight.
"But back to more pleasant topics, I just got an invitation from the Chef Komastsu. He is holding a feast for his partner Toriko for returning back to the Human World shortly before you arrived. He is using the best the Human World has to offer and asking me to help him cook. I would appreciate it if you came along for the ride if you are still hungry." Somehow, the sound of roaring stomachs had lightened up the atmosphere.

Later, in the Human World,
"Wow." Toriko could only say his wonder in one word. "That is seriously messed up in the land where you came from." The little monkey in question was not listening and was simply eating from a plate like it was the last meal of her life. "Hope you are not offended Komatsu, this little chimp is only eating food prepared by Naruto…" Toriko turned to his partner and opened his eyes in disgust.
"…. (I don't mind Toriko-san! I am just glad that you didn't) …" The chef in question had his words grabbled and face covered in tears and snot. Most of it was seeping into the rice-cooker, filled with the grains that he was cooking. Then all of that unsanitary suddenly erupted from the rice-cooker and right into his face.
"We will appreciate it if you keep that crap to yourself or else dump it on the floor, not on the food." Naruto spoke from his own work station, ignoring the looks everyone was giving; it must have been of the kitchenware moving on their own! "And it isn't polite to stare, the food will be ready in another few seconds so be patient."
"We are not complaining." Indeed, they weren't. They just sat at their spots with drool dripping out of their mouths wondering what was going to be served next.
"Thank you for waiting!" Naruto and Komatsu announced when they placed a large bowl with a Mt. Everest of rice, a very special kind of rice. "A large-large bowl of Strawberrice!" Toriko felt like squealing in delight to see a serving that was somehow more than enough for his appetite. The others were in awe at such an amazing display of a food they never seen before.
"Look guys!" Toriko somehow contained himself to pluck a single grain and showed to the Konoha Shinobi. They got a closer look and were surprised to see that the grain looked like, "…each one is a little starched strawberry! And they taste like actual strawberries!"
Toriko then grabbed more than a handful and shoved them into his mouth, moaning of the great taste. Everyone else ate some at their own pace but they agreed with Toriko. "Don't worry guys, we have plenty of dishes in mind after your near-death experience in the Gourmet World." Naruto announced from the kitchen, which got everyone's attention, until the blonde took out a pair of banana bundles.
"And how are those a meal?" Shino happened to ask while Kiba and his canine companion suddenly started to drool as if they were each presented with a fresh streak.
"It is only superficial." Naruto responded as he handled one bundle to Komatsu and they both sliced the bananas into even slices before placing them on frying pans! Before anyone could remark, the smell of meat cooking soon entered the air. And Toriko shouted off,
"It's Roast Banana! A hybrid of banana and fresh steak! One of my favorite snacks!" That would explain why they were 'roasting' the banana slices. Before they served the slices, they took some Caramel Caviar for some extra taste; apparently both the meat and dressing are known to go well together.
Everyone loved the snack and hunger for more. All the while, Naruto introduced more food from the Gourmet World to Komatsu. Toriko noticed that the female ape that arrived in the Human World had been avoiding all but Naruto, only eating food that the blonde had served himself.
The Konoha Shinobi didn't notice as they ate and ate and ate until, "Komatsu Don't!" Naruto suddenly shouted before the sound of metal breaking off was heard. And the human chef himself had the look of silent horror to watch his knife break in half at where the handle meets the blade, which fell to the ground.

*Hello everyone! It was a rather short break between the end of my Spring Semester and the start of my Summer Break so I decided to spend it trying to get back in the hang of my fanfiction. I seriously spend most of my free time listening to Youtube videos and playing the addictive Breath of the Wild. I will be trying to break out of this lame addiction and hopefully make good this May. And I couldn't forget Mother's Day and my mom's birthday!
One more thing, having Naruto take in Bambina's child was something that just came to me looking up the Monkey King's mate. It matches the saying of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Hope you guys don't mind.
