Ok I know this story is lost, but here I am again trying to do as I always do...save them. This is a good pairing, I could neevr fully let it go. I hope some people out there agree with me.

Jane's P.O.V

He dragged me all the way to the Reservation, and I only partially fought him, partly curious on how they, he, thought they were going to get me to help. We ended up in Sam Uley's house, and all of them started shouting at me immediately.

"Can't you delay them?" Why would I?

"Tell them something interesting to give us more time?"

"Like what what? That when you leave Forks you can't transform anymore?" That silenced everyone. They looked at me expectantly but I only mirrored them. This lasted for a while but I finally asked, "Does that happen?"

Jacob shrugged. "Coud you just tell them that?"

"Why..."

"Because Alice had a vision -"

"Which isn't set in stone idiot. She only told you to give you hope, but to be honest, it's pretty pathetic. She thinks me helping you has something to do with the drunk over there." Everyone followed my gaze to where Paul was sitting. He shrugged and took another swig from his bottle. "What is wrong with you, first your dragging me over here and then your over there like you don't care what happens."

To my surprise, Sam and Jacob grabbed him and hauled him up. Then they all started to question him. That's when I took the oppurtunity to sit down, and realised I was next to the girls; Emily and Leah. They didn't speak, but I knew my prescence made them uncomfortable.

"How should I know!" Paul shouted, finally escaping them. "She doesn't care about me enough to help, so it must be something else. I don't know!"

That's when Seth came through the door, Wisty close behind him. "Hey, I ran into Seth and he told me I could find you here." Then she caught sight of all the boys. "I can wait."

"No," I rushed to get up, "we can go if you want."

"I'll come with, let me just go to the bathroom." Seth called, running into the house. I eyed Wisty blushing, but said nothing. It was her birhday...

"Me too." Paul walked over next to me, slightly off balance to stare me down. "Gotta make sure she stays away from the bartenders."

"Bar?" Wisty popped up behind him. "Wait, are you the girl my brother was talkign about? Blonde, medium height..."

"No Wisty, he's joking. He just wants a bar to himself. How do you even know there's going to be a bar?"

"Oh," Wisty blushed, interrupting again, "he helped me set up a venue. My family thought it was a great idea. It's a hotel just outside of Forks." I restrained myself from glaring at him. "By the way, the rest of you are welcome to come and Seth told the Cullens..." She beamed, happy to now know so many people. Seth ran back, wearing a black jacket.

"Are we going?"

The party was actually pretty good, Wisty's family was enjoying themselves, the wolves were enjoying themselves and I was enjoying myself from my stool at the bar. Which was also occupied by Paul.

"So about your laptop journal thing," he slurred, "that I read."

"Shut up Paul."

"You said something quite interesting in them."

"Paul, I said shut up."

"You craaaave the human experience." I grabbed him by the chin and pulled him to my height.

"What the hell are you talking about you drunken asshole?"

"Take me up to your room and I'll show you." I grabbed his arm and walked slowly through the crowd, ignoring looks from both Edward and Jasper. I took the stairs and moved at vampire speed, dragging him along with me until we got to my floor. I opened the door and threw him towards the wall where he hit the wardrobe.

"Now what are you talking about?" He staggered to his feet, a drunken smile on his face.

"You crave the human experience. You forget what's it's like to be a human, so you do whatever you can while your away from the Volturi to regain some sense of it. That's why you made friends with Wisty, and you kissed that bartender before you drank from him and you kissed me back the other day..."

"You don't know anything -"

"And because you can't feel pain, you and your powers inflict it on other people so you can see how your supposed to feel."

"Shut up!"

"And when you get angry, you wish you could hurt yourself. Just like I want to hurt myself, which is why I drink."

I lashed out at him, my fist colliding with his face, and he fell to the ground. I kicked him in the stomach over and over, I dind't know how many times I did it, but the scent of his blood hit me like an avalanche and I stopped. I fell to a heap on the floor and stared at him.

My phone started ringing, and I ignored it.

"Jane...I can help you. Everthing your missing -"

"Shut up, Paul." I moved closer to him and lay beside him, curling into his unatural warmth. His arm slowly and hesitantly wrapped around me. "Just shut up."

It's short but I hope that's okay.
